We have just had a lovely long weekend here as a base for seaglass hunting at Seaham. Highly recommend, beautifully clean, gorgeously comfortable bed and lovely coast path within a short walk from the house. Host are responsive, no problems with self check in, just a lovely relaxing weekend. Many thanks.

This is a real gem of a place situated in the most beautiful surroundings . Fantastic walking straight from your door, bird song galore and so much more . Trish is a wonderful host , very welcoming and nothing seemed too much trouble . We were greeted with delicious homemade cake , fresh flowers and a basket of treats . I would highly recommend Trish's beautiful home and really hope to be back again one day so much more to explore . Thank you Trish for a wonderful time . Emma

We stayed here for a few days and it was really good. Great accommodation and beautifully presented. Fab location in a busy town with lots of pubs and eating places. Fantastic for walking on the nearby North Yorkshire Moors. We will definitely visit again in the future.

Beautiful comfortable place , we felt at home clean spacious and lovely surroundings. We really enjoyed our stay. Kendra was really helpful in recommending places to eat and visit. We had a lovely stay for 2 nights at this beautiful and cozy home. It was so well organised and felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We loved the charming decor and all the thoughtful details. Anthony was a wonderful host- approachable, kind, and very helpful. His clear instructions made everything smooth and stress free. The nearby forest walks were really nice, and the stream running through the woods made it so refreshing. The local people were friendly and helpful. The house itself was such a delight that we can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay. Ideally located in a quaint village in the beautiful countryside with a pub, The Black Bull within crawling distance. Delightful, charming, a little gem. A very well appointed cottage, everything we needed was provided. A cute detached garden for our furry friends, Joe and Hugo. The log burner was extremely efficient in the freezing cold evenings. Richmond a few miles away, we indulged in an Indian takeaway from the Royal India, 5 stars on Trip Advisor. If you want an escape, stay at Honeypot Cottage. Fabulous!

WOW - what a beautiful home!!! An absolute gem * For context - it was myself, my partner, two boys (4 and 2 years old) & our cavapoo. There was ample space for us all regarding bedrooms, bathrooms and lounge space. The home was tastefully decorated in keeping with the local beach aswell as spotlessly clean. NOTHING was too much for our hosts who were simply magnificent given the fact this is a relatively new venture for them. You would think this operation has been running for years based on the quality and efficiency of everything from booking and recommendations. The beach is quite literally a stones throw away and we made a beeline for this every morning after breakfast. Great start to the day! We had a 60 minute drive to Whitby with the family which was thoroughly enjoyable for some stunning Fish & Chips and crabbing for the boys to partake in. Some spectacular views driving down the coast past Redcarr and Saltburn. We would definitely come back again! BOOK BOOK BOOK IT!

We had a great stay, in a clean, spacious, up to date caravan, was very quiet, as the caravan site isn't open till the middle of March. That was not a problem we made our own entertainment with the cards and games provided, I would stay there again and would recommend it to my family and friends. we have used Air BnB several times and have never had a bad encounter, Lisa kept me updated and was prompt in replying to messages I sent. Thank you from my family and myself.

Lovely caravan - easy check-in with lockbox, and parking space next to caravan. Lots of extra thoughtful touches inside that made it feel very home-from-home (board games, DVDs, even a jar of biscuits!), extra blankets, lovingly decorated, and the essentials were there too so we could get comfortable straight away (I’ve stayed in some places where there wasn’t even one toilet roll, hand soap, or washing up liquid!) The location was nice, The view out of the lounge window of the sea was lovely, and it’s a short walk to the beach. The site shop etc obviously wasn’t open as it’s out of season, but local shops are a short drive away. Two toilets is a lifesaver with children. The two doors into the main bathroom from the hall and the master bedroom gave us a giggle as I thought it was a cupboard - remember to lock both doors if using the main toilet haha! But space-wise, it is a clever idea. Midday checkout was really useful too, less rush! Would definitely stay again, thanks for having us!

Caravan was immaculate and very homely loved the added touches. The Seaview was a bonus as the children loved it. Our family enjoyed our Christmas in the caravan was a lovely experience. Would definately recommend to others. Great host 5*.

We stayed at the Lodge for 4 weeks due to a delayed house completion. The location is amazing in every respect. The lodge is more spacious than the pictures suggest - walk in wardrobes amazing for our extended stay. Well equipped, very efficient heating and hot water Long local beach walks with the cafe (great ice cream), literally 15m away. We did not use the entertainment complex but it always looked busy Thoroughly recommended

Very clean and tidy residency and beautiful views on a clear day. Had an initial issue with the BBQ not being available on check-in but was resolved later in the evening. Nice location if you want a peaceful environment, surrounding yourself in the countryside.

Fabulous old farm buildings set inBeautiful picturesque setting, looking out on the Moores and farmland. There were cows when we looked out of the window and chickens clucking around the yard. But really private as well. There are walks from the cottage across the farmland, when the weather is nice and the log burner stove making it really warm and cosy in the evening when it feels a bit chilly. The cottage had everything that you need for your stay, and was immaculate. The main bedroom has a traditional bed frame, which we thought may be a bit creaky, we needn’t have worried- the bed was very sturdy, comfortable and didn’t squeak at all. Really handy having a sink in the bedroom too. Loved all the farm implements that were around. Loved the oil lamps converted to electricity. Would love to know more about the farm’s history. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We have had a wonderful break as such a lovely and relaxing place to feel at home as soon as we stepped in! There was lots of space for 6 adults and 2 dogs who loved running in the field! Managed to see an Owl and 2 flying swans! We noted seeing all the deer too!

Beautiful place in peaceful location. Spotlessly clean - looked like everything was new. Very comfortable furniture and bed and plenty of hot water and pressure in the shower. We didn't cook but there was everything provided if we had wanted to. A totally relaxing location we would love to return to.

Beautiful home with everything you need and spotless. Instructions from John were very clear and he was extremely helpful when we were booking, especially the restaurant recommendations which we followed and we were not disappointed (Cookfellas restaurant and Brickyard Bakery). Great stay wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Absolutely perfect little get away in a lovely area. My girlfriend really liked it and wants to go again. Very cosy and private place with a little garden for the dogs. Beautiful surroundings will 100% be booking again. Very responsive host even though we got there late. Thanks again

Great, clean, cosy home. Warm and welcoming on arrival. Communication with Bev throughout was quick and easy. Bev checked in with us to ensure everything was ok and to see if we needed anything else. The cottage was convenient for us, as we were attending a wedding at Thief Hall. Thank you Bev!

Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at Pete’s cabin. It was lovely and peaceful. The hot tub was amazing. Pete was always on hand to help re heat the hot tub. The fresh eggs from the hens were a great addition and were very tasty! Overall it was an amazing stay and would highly recommend Pete’s cabin to anyone wanting a lovely peaceful get away!

Ideal base for a few nights away, lovely location and beautiful little cottage. Had all the amenities you could possibly need, with a few extra touches by Penny which were well received so thank you. Would definitely recommend 🙂

outstanding location, super comfy, spotlessly clean accommodation and a wonderful host, it was perfect for our week long gateway in the North. The pictures don't justify the true beauty of the place. I would highly recommend Simon's place to explore the Moors and beyond.
