We truly appreciated Reneé and Marco's assistance during our off-season visit. This location would undoubtedly offer an exceptional experience for those seeking a summer escape.

Our six weeks stay at Heathers place was amazing. She is one of the most accommodating hosts we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The house was supurb, well heated and cozy for our winter stay. The kitchen modern and well equipped. The two bedrooms we used were a little small but more than adequate for our needs and the yard spacious. I frequently stay at Airbnb’s and travel a lot. I would say this is the best host I’ve ever had. Super friendly, super nice, super knowledgeable of the area and gave great suggestions. The home was unique and very nice. I will definitely be going back next time I’m in the area.

Kelly’s place is well worth every penny. Beautiful river and huge property with a great fire pit and multiple paddle boats. Also well equipped inside with everything you need and very well kept. Felt right at home. Would definitely recommend!

Christina's cottage was a great place to relax and unwind with my friends. Seriously, we didn't want to leave. The house is clean, uncluttered, and perfectly decorated. The fully stocked kitchen and comfortable living room made our stay extra enjoyable. Christina has thought of everything that a traveler may need... snacks, games, toiletries, beach towels.. you name it. The back deck gave us a front row seat for the sunset, so nice! She was very responsive to anything we needed. Great house, great host. Thank you.

Our second time staying with Jenny, just as good as the first! Perfect house for large groups. Jenny is great to deal with and always quick to respond. Great location if you would like to stay close to PEC.

We had a very relaxing, peaceful time at the cottage, it is the perfect place to recharge! Everything in the description is true. The place is spotless, tastefully done, awesome woodstove with wood supplied. The kitchen spice cupboard is a dream. The host even has some coffee if you run low. Everything is top of the line, what a treat! Another treat is feeding the birds, chipmunks, red squirrels and a friendly black one. Jars of food to share with our furry friends! This is our second time visiting. The location is easy to find and down the road from Apsley.Definitely worth the drive! Thanks Stephen we'll visit again.

We had such a wonderful stay! The space was warm, inviting, and all it was advertised to be. It was exactly what we needed—a comfortable and peaceful spot to relax. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, allowing us to check in a bit early. The personal touches really made the place feel like a home away from home. Me and my friends stayed at Catchmore Resore and had a great time! we stayed in cottage #2 and had no complaints. We had a nice view of the water, took advantage of all the fun activities available, found the beds to be very comfortable and staff to be extremely friendly/helpful! only downfall to this cottage is that the shower head isn't adjustable...so the shorter guest found the shower hard to use. However there were other communal showers located on property so it wasn't the end of the world. overall we had a great time at this location and would recommend!

Thank you Ryan!! This listing is the perfect escape from the city and has EVERYTHING you need. The host was very responsive, walked us through setting up a fire. Even in the craziest of snowstorms it was cozy and warm. Gorgeous decor. Comfortable couch. Couldn't say enough nice words!! Some airbnbs you can tell the host has never actually stayed there because they are missing dishes etc or it's not set up nicely. This place was PERFECT and you can tell the host puts a lot of care into the space and has stayed there themselves. Will have to be back!!!!!!!

Very cozy stay! We stayed during a winter storm and the wood stove kept us warm. It was also very clean and had a nice full kitchen. The location is very nice and feels private as well.

South Bay Cottage is truly a perfect and lovely lake getaway. Drive off the main road and into your own private cove outfitted with everything you need for a wonderful stay. Once inside, the view of Lake Stoney can be seen through the large windows from anywhere in the main room. The sunsets and starry skies were so peaceful - and even though locals told us it was unusual - we actual had an amazing view of the Northern Lights! We loved that this cottage included all the linens we needed and lots of areas to get cozy and read a book - including the extra-special gazebo. While the kitchen area is small - it is well equipped with everything we needed. Close to great hikes (Petroglyph Provincial Park, High Falls at Eels Creek, Warsaw Caves, and many others.) Also great to explore the area's great golf courses, Wanderlight Alpaca walks (a must do), Peterborough Pete's hockey, Peterborough theatre, and amazing restaurants in Lakefield (Loon, Cassia, and more). Melissa was a wonderful host!

Laura and Dale's Cottage was such a cozy, sunny, beautiful place nestled in a wooded lot right on the water front. We spent a week there in October and loved the wood fireplace and warmth that the cottage brought. The kitchen was charming with lots of well placed windows. Everything you needed for cooking was available. The board games were nostalgic and fun to play. The bed and bedding was so comfy and perfect for reading in the mornings. The view from the bedroom window was otherworldly especially the full moon coming across the water and the Autumn leaves were spectacularly gorgeous! We cant say enough about this place. We highly recommend it and we hope to return again.

We were looking for a quiet fall cabin getaway and this provided us with exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was located on a fairly private section in the trees. There was a walking trail near by and access to the water and a dock. By traveling in the off season the park was pretty quiet. 😊 The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the cozy inside comforts of home as well as the great deck and wonderful forest and river view. Mike, the park manager, was very friendly and helpful. He greeted us upon our arrival and showed us to our cabin making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. There was a bit of a grumpy resident camper who came over to complain as soon as we arrived because our dogs were playing and burning off some steam after being in the car for a couple hours. The dogs were both on long lines, but he claimed the dogs were loud & he was going to complain to the park manager about us. If he did we didn’t hear about it.

We had a fantastic stay for a long weekend (birthday) getaway. Nice private location with a view. Enjoyed the hot-tub while watching the first snowfall of the season, wood stove and the well stocked kitchen. Host even left some treats for my pup, which she really enjoyed and was very responsive/helpful. Pros: private location, right on the water, kayak/canoe/hot tub for use, well stocked kitchen, responsive host! Cons: (only 1!) mice! My dog could not stop hunting the cabin throughout our stay lol (she is dedicated, like a cat!) , and we did find some droppings on the dishes in the cupboards, before use. Overall - we had a fantastic time. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon!

Great cabin with a beautiful lake view. Well stocked, quiet, peaceful, and amazing swimming in clean clear water. 100% recommend and definitely would visit again.

Jeff and Jenn were very welcoming hosts. They provided us with amazing local recommendations of areas and things to do in the county which we did not know about. The kitchen is very well equipped. The view on the lake was stunning. The surroundings were serene and peaceful like the county itself. The location of the cottage is perfect as it's close to Picton and the parks.

Our retreat at the cabin was just what we needed. The walk to the waterfront was a beautiful easy hike on the path/road on the property!e found the kitchen stocked with everything we needed, s as was the bathroom. The beds were comfortable with quality linen. We loved the homey feel of this country cabin and enjoyed the atmosphere and property! My favourite part was the photo album of the restoration of this historical building. You did beautiful job respecting its history while bringing it into this century😊 Thank you so much for opening this treasure up to us.

I have experienced a few airbnbs to date and must say that I have yet to experience anything unpleasant. That's because of the incredible integrity of hostesses like Charlotte, overseeing places like this sweet gem: true to its advertisement, and very well laid out instructions which kept us from having to inquire about anything. We came to create and we came to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. My husband and I are calling this our "Oasis-Escapis" and plan to bring more monumental celebrations and creative endeavours here. This was our first time using an Airbnb. We weren’t sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised at this place. I would for sure book this place again. We went with my parents who are older so getting down to the water for them was a little bit difficult. Our dog loved it lots of space for her to run around. Thinking we need to go in the fall for sure the leaves would be beautiful.
