Julia's place was great for my daughter and myself. We were in town for a wedding and the location was perfect. Having the option to use the pool was perfect.

Perfect getaway space. We had our wedding party here and it was perfect. Brett is very respectful and responsive, we will be staying here again!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights & a day. It was a much needed reset and this place was the best most peaceful stay we’ve had in a long time. Easy instructions, easy check in. The casita was beautiful and had pretty much everything we needed. I don’t have any complaints, instead a warning. The bed is comfy but on the softer side. With sciatic issues I need my bed to be a bit harder. It’s not enough to dock our rating because it’s only my preference. My husband on the other hand loved relaxing in it. Overall I would recommend this place and would return. Thank you for opening your Casita to us. Looking forward to our next visit. Oh, and coming from California we’ve never seen so much wildlife. Definitely a plus!

We loved staying here! The location was perfect (we were able to walk to so many things!), and it was so nice to come back to the private hot tub after a day of exploring! The hosts were extremely friendly, responsive, and put a lot of thought into making our stay comfortable. We had everything we needed and more! The rental unit was extremely clean, well-kept, and up-to-date. The beds were very comfortable, we slept so well! If we are ever in the area again, this will be our place for sure!

Omg, the place was great! Ashley was a great host made our stay extra special when she didn’t have to. The place was awesome and even though it was bit of a bad weather we still made the best of it. We couldn’t let bad weather get in the way of the hot tub which we really enjoyed and the fireplace inside made it perfect for staying indoors and enjoying time. Thank you Ashley for hosting us. Can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful surroundings and secluded within a real nice neighborhood. Easy to get anywhere. A little cool for us to use the pool but the hot tub filled the void. We loved the place.

We stayed for Labor Day weekend and the ease of access to the river made for the perfect weekend. No worrying about parking, renting tubes, getting picked up by a van- just walk in and walk out back to the house. It is a beautiful little gem.

Vicky and Micky work hard to keep guests happy. I arrived right after Texas had record breaking cold temperatures, it hadn't been that cold since the 1800s. Naturally, this created some issues that were completely out of their control but Vicky and Micky worked hard to ensure all guests were taken care of. I wasn't able to get the cabin I reserved at first but they were able to move me into it a couple of days later. They worked hard to make up for the change in venue. Each of the cabins are a little different and have different stand out features. I was going to be working during my stay and the Lone Star cabin looked like a good fit. Its comfortable, peaceful, has good wi-fi and looks great. It is also set up well for a larger group. I loved the goats, pigs and donkeys freely roaming around. They are very dog friendly which was a major deciding factor for me. There are tons of add ons to cater to all kinds of experiences.

Location couldn’t be beat. We had lots to do in the Pearl Brewery, Alamo Heights and King William’s District and this was central to everything.

Fun and comfortable place that is convenient to many attractions. Super nice neighborhood.

This home is in a perfect location for enjoying all of San Antonio. We were able to easily walk to the Riverwalk and found nearby grocery shopping, plus it’s convenient to the Pearl which is a must-do when visiting. The home itself is unique and well-appointed with comfortable furnishings and stunning artwork. Any time I head to San Antonio, I’ll be sure to check for availability of this home.

While the house itself is small, as described, the outdoor space is the real highlight. The property is beautifully maintained and offers plenty of activities, including kayaking, paddle boarding, and cornhole. The deck overlooking the river is absolutely stunning, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view. Overall, a fantastic stay for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors!

First time staying in San Antonio with the family. We wanted to come close to the Fort Sam base and it was right around the corner. 7 mins exactly. The house was beautiful. I can’t believe the age of the homes around here. The space, the kitchen, all wonderfully put together. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Close to downtown, food truck parks and many restaurants. A place for families or friends to get together. Thank you 😊

Absolutely loved this house, felt like I was home. Kitchen was stocked with just about everything needed to prepare meals, plenty of towels for use. We loved the pool too. About 25 minutes to San Marcos. We thoroughly enjoyed Rose’s house and would highly recommend it!

The cottage is perfect for a a little city getaway. Despite the fact that it is in the backyard of the main house, it does feel private and the host is very much mindful of the desire for privacy from the guests. The hot tub and pool literally 5 steps away from your front door are a really nice perk and it’s a shame the weather did not cooperate in my time there but I’m definitely planning to come back and take advantage of that next time I’m town in better weather! The neighborhood was well maintained and quiet. Definitely a great place and the perfect alternative if you want to stay in San Antonio and don’t want to be in an apartment building.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Jason’s house was a great location, close to the Alamo and Riverwalk. We traveled to Six Flags and Seaworld, each about 20mins away. The pool and hot tub were definitely the highlights of our stay. Jason was very friendly and responsive.

We absolutely loved this condo and wished we were staying longer! It’s on our list of places to return to. Walking to Gruene Hall and The Gristmill was like going next door! Shopping was nearby, and the condo was perfect for 5 of us. Gina’s recommendation of the Pantry at Gruene Mansion was perfect too—a fabulous breakfast before we left town.

Great place to stay, in a good area of town. The house was clean and very accommodating. Host was also great!

This house was outstanding simply for all the outdoor space. Coming from Chicago we were so happy to spend all our time outside and in the basement with the garage doors open. We were lucky to have the most perfect weather. The pool is a great size and the view is really unbelievable. There is a lot to do within half hour driving distance which made for great morning activities before the day got warm enough to swim. We stayed for four days and could definitely see ourselves returning to explore more of what the area has to offer. Thank you for providing such an excellent location for our amazing family vacation!
