Arrived late and only got to spend enough time in the yurt to sleep but hope to be back and enjoy it during daylight hours! It’s in a very rural area right on the seaside. The only downside is that there were two small lights, so next time we’ll be sure to bring head lamps!

We were 4 adults and very much enjoyed our stay here. We watched some of the most beautiful sunsets from the house. We used the hot tub. We played washer toss. We used the telescope to look for birds and seals. We used the supplied fishing rods and fished at the wharf. It was a highlight for us. It was the first time my Dad fished in 35 + years. We met lovely locals at the wharf. There is a gorgeous beach (!!!)just a few minutes away. The house is set up with allllllll the essentials and includes everything you can think of. The beds are very comfortable! One very small detail is that the house is on public property, so you may have a few cars per day that come by to look at water and/or sunsets. The hosts have done a great job building a privacy screen and everyone that came by was very respectful and most left as soon as they saw us. It did not deter us from our enjoyment, but worth mentioning. We would 100% stay here again.

The place was nicely decorated and peaceful, the fireplace was awesome, the full kitchen easy to use, the directions for the place and local recommendations was wonderful, and the host communicates promptly and with great effort to make sure to get the information needed. The washer and dryer are such a nice feature and work well! Control of the indoor temperature took some time to figure out for each floor and the outside fluctuating temperature didn't help, and you can hear each other's rooms at times, these are very minor things and can be dealt with. the local stores and restaurants do close by 8pm local time so factor that into your trip. The place overall was just what was needed for the weekend trip! the place is sweet and I would recommend others to stay there!

We really enjoyed our trip, loved how private the location was so we were able to unplug from a very busy lifestyle. Their setup by the ocean is absolutely perfect! Kayla was very friendly to deal with and graciously came to setup the sauna whenever we needed. Highly recommend!

Such a perfect getaway place at an incredible location. Highly recommend for anyone looking for clean and cozy comfort with that ol’ beachhouse vibe. Our second time here — but now a go-to spot for our visits to lovely Shelburne. We love it!

Comfortable with a beautiful view.

We had a wonderful stay in Clark's Harbour. So much to do and very serene. Jorge provided almost everything needed. The cottage was VERY comfortable. A great place to relax. We visited as much as we could from Yarmouth to Shelburne. Hawk Beach is just breathtaking. It is huge, clean, very few people, and the water was so blue! I have a passion for lighthouses so we visited as many as we could. My dog was very happy too. So glad Jorge's is pet friendly. Barrington has all the stores you need. Everyone was very friendly. We loved the wild life, deer in the yard, crows having their meeting on the fence posts, seagulls everywhere and beautiful great blue herons! We just loved this little place. One of my favourite things was the teeny tiny lamp on the window sill by the couch - it was so adorable. Thank you for the beautiful painted rock. It is now with my beach rocks around my lighthouse out front at home. To be able to see the bay out the front and the waves out back!

Clean, calm and cozy: Intelligently designed space, thoughtfully stocked, with inspiring ocean views, stunning night skies, nearby long sandy beaches perfect for winter walks and rural roads ideal for slow exploration. We especially appreciated the great kitchen (and nearby groceries), and fantastic host communications. This is the kind of listing that makes it easy to love travel. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We were so pleased with our stay! Beautiful location, wonderful sandy bottom lake, privacy, comfort, very well equipped kitchen. We will definitely book again!

Curtis’s place is the perfect spot to be close to White Point Beach and Liverpool. They had everything you could possibly need and more set up, the space was clean and accessible. The outdoor space really makes this place special! Hope to stay again soon!

Staying here is like being in another world, peaceful, private, and is a wonderful break from the everyday busyness The home is comfortable and makes you happy just being in the space I booked this place for the view, and would book here again, the view is worth it

House was better in person than in the pictures. Very clean, had everything we needed, and was easy to find! Lots of natural light and awesome views of the ocean! Very easy checkin and lots of info from the host! We were very happy with this spot!

The Breakwater is spectacular! We stayed in the Lobster Pound for four magical nights. Waking up to the sun pouring in the huge windows facing the bay was thrilling every morning! Inside the place was perfect: tastefully and thoroughly equipped to meet all our needs. We especially appreciated the binoculars, the motorized shades to maximize our privacy/views and Stew and Cheryl’s personal recommendations for sites and seafood!

This property represents an exceptional standard that all hosts should aim to meet. Jennifer was very friendly and responsive, and overall a great host! The property is private and nestled nicely among the surrounding forest with river and ocean views, providing a tranquil and beautiful backdrop. The close proximity of this property to Carters Beach, White Point, Liverpool, and the rest of what this gorgeous part of NS offers is especially appealing. The home is warm, modern, well-designed, and pristinely clean. The amenities gave our family all we needed, but the added thoughtful touches set this home apart: a well-appointed kitchen, cozy blankets, minimalist charging bars, and nice towels/ linens. This is a special spot. I expect we will be back whether in the summer, or really anytime of year. We are experienced travellers with AirBNBs, and give the highest recommendation for this property and our host!

Our best Air BnB stay in Nova Scotia - hands down! A well designed and well equipped place to stay with amazing views and water access for a casual short beach walk. Our quiet group enjoyed the open layout, amazing sauna, and a dip in the hot tub while watching fishing vessels sail by. Communications were perfect before and after our stay and all of our guests were in awe of the thought that went into the space. The furniture and amenities were very well done and we took advantage of all the place had to offer. We would happily stay here again and would recommend others consider this as your next Air BnB stay to get away.

Eric and Dawn's place was great. While small, it had everything you need. It is always great to have a functional kitchen. It has a spectacular view and is easy walking distance to Summerville beach and the Quarterdeck restaurant. We appreciated the heat pump system and with the changing Nova Scotia temperatures we were always comfortable. Thoughtful hosts who checked to see if there was anything needed. Can highly recommend staying at "The Decks" and hope to return.
