We loved this little apartment and the area. The apartment is really nice and cosy and quiet. There are very nice cafes, bars and restaurants just around the corner. And the public transport is only a few minutes away. For us the perfect place.

We spent Christmas at Castelnau and absolutely loved it. A superb location. Walking distance to public transport, shops, cafes, a cinema and a very good bookstore. And a short drive to the beach. The house itself is peaceful and quiet and once you walk through the front gate you are in a different world. Plenty of room inside, lovely lounge room and the beds are comfortable. Highly recommended and we would stay again.

I had a wonderful stay at Barbara's contemporary studio apartment, located right in the heart of St Kilda. It's just a short walk to the tram stop, bus stop, coffee shops, and bars—perfect for exploring the area. Barbara was incredibly communicative throughout my stay and made sure I was comfortable at all times. The apartment was exactly as described in the listing and photos, which made settling in easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend her apartment for anyone looking to stay in St Kilda. Staying at Dan’s Airbnb was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Kerrie was an unbelievable host! Her home was tidy, sparkling clean, close to shops and a short walk to Elwood beach and cafe's surrounding. The beds are comfortable, bedding and towels are supplied and great quality. The decor was fresh and had a homely feel. The wardrobes in bedrooms are large and rooms are a great size - if you are travelling with a few couples, there will be no fighting over which room is the best as all are treated as master bedrooms. Kerrie was extremely helpful, had great recommendations, quick to respond and genuinely just lovely to deal with. Highly recommend staying at Elwood Star - we had a fabulous time.

Place was amazing! The apartment had this cool vintage art deco charm to it but was renovated so everything was clean, new and very comfortable. Had the best nights sleep and the balcony was perfect for chilling as the sun went down. Plenty of free on street parking and close to public transport. I mean what else could you ask for! Thank you for the lovely and peaceful stay! We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of space and privacy in the flat, and the shared garden is absolutely picturesque. The amenities were great, and the location was super convenient, just a short walk to the tram stop. Would definitely recommend!

A lovely clean apartment and everything you could need for your stay. The bed was super comfortable so slept well.

A nice, quiet loft and great place to stay. Very friendly and responsive host. I arrived at 10 in the morning already (as i was going to the f1 race in Melbourne) and despite the early arrival Helen welcomed me in and offered me tea…. As it was raining she then also lent me her umbrella… all of this was very much appreciated. Thanks Helen!!
