“Lakeside” Love the life at Lakeside Drive

Marsha’s place, Lakeside, is ideal for a large group with 5 bedrooms, 3 living areas and 2 dining areas (including an undercover outdoor area) across two levels. It is just across the road from the Lake and a 10-15 minute stroll along the Lake into town. Marsha is a very responsive host and offers an earlier check-in compared to other places so we had more time to settle in and discover the surroundings on day 1. We all (including our dog) had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and have already booked to return later in the year!

Lakeside Retreat Nagambie

We had a fantastic stay! The house was comfortable and well-equipped, with a kitchen that had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable, and the quiet surroundings made for a restful night’s sleep. Check-in was seamless and hassle-free. Overall, a great experience—we’d definitely stay again!

Harmony Hills - Pure Serenity

Harmony Hills was truly a sanctuary amongst the hills. The accommodation was beautiful and warm with many personal touches (and aircon!). It's located in a beautiful bit of Victoria with many wineries and natural scenes to take in. Sandy and Dan were so kind to us, offering us a visit to see the new calves and introducing us to all their beautiful horses and dogs. The baths were wonderful and simply sitting on the verandah with a glass of wine was a joy. Don't miss this one and make sure you pay a visit!

We had a wonderful stay, thanks to Shona's thoughtful touches. She had the aircon running before our arrival, which was a refreshing welcome. The bread, milk, and kitchen facilities were perfect and made settling in so much easier. We didn't have to worry about getting supplies right away. Highly recommend!

Cannot recommend Di’s place at Kirwans Bridge more highly - perfect for a group to base themselves and visit nearby wineries and towns. Golden hour over the Goulburn is spectacular. Thanks for having us!

Perfect location within walking distance to restaurants and walking trails. House was in a quiet peaceful location and Veronica was friendly and helpful with local suggestions. The living space was very roomy and we loved the use of the pool on a very hot weekend. Highly recommended and we will certainly love to stay again on our next trip

This house suited our group very nicely. Very comfortable beds and bathrooms for six woman over 60 . Was very neat and clean and not too far from everything. Blaire was easy to contact and quick with response to my messages.

Jenny came to the property shortly after our arrival and spent considerable time talking about the short history of the house and the area and surrounds. The house, which is off-the-grid, is easy to get to but once there you feel peacefully isolated. An ideal escape from the city. The kitchen-living area is very spacious and well laid out. The master bedroom with ensuite and walk in robes is very functional. Highly recommend.

The most peaceful and relaxing getaway you could wish for. The host Kylie so friendly and welcoming, also the cows & chickens very welcoming. Highly recommend will definitely be back. Thanks for the lovely getaway .

We had a great few days staying at Claire’s. The house was lovely, very clean and spacious within a short walk by the river to the shops. Claire was quick to reply and friendly and helpful, we will be back to stay another time for sure, thanks Claire.

Absolutely loved this stay. Gorgeous house with beautiful decor - very tasteful, peaceful and relaxing. Sueanne was the perfect host, easy to communicate with and great for little suggestions and help. Love this area, Rushworth a great town for exploring the region.

Tiny Rescue Retreat by Tiny Away

We booked last minute in an effort to relax and bring in the new year with some time out of the city and a holiday. Deb was a fantastic host, she was easy to communicate with, great source of info and so friendly. We were struck by her and her partners passion for the work they are doing at the rescue, where you stay. Never had I woken up around animals like that or known that animals could be so happy. After a day of staying there the animals seemed to trust us allowing us to feed them little weetbix and even pet them. We did some day trips out to Echuca and the local surrounds. In the evenings we star gazed, cooked some dinner and drank some wine. What a wonderful idea, we will come back and we hope that they keep doing what they are doing. We feel invigorated by the experience for a really positive year ahead and a more considered approach to our impact and the value of kindness. Hoping they continue to see the fruits of their labour shine in 2025. Would highly recommend

Janine was an extremely helpful and accomodating host, which made travelling with a young baby very easy. The location in the centre of town was great and the apartment was clean and equipped with everything we would need for a week away. The spectacular lake view was an added bonus! We would definitely stay at Janine’s place again.
