Streymoy : locations de vacances en bord de mer

Everything went very well, the house is very functional and comfortable, especially the well-equipped kitchen and bathroom (special mention for the washing machine and dryer, a must when you've just come back from a hike in the rain!). Sea view and montaign views. Husavik is on an island accessible via an underwater tunnel that allows you to travel easily anywhere in the archipelago. The village is very beautiful and above all very quiet. Communication with our hosts was smooth and friendly. I can't recommend it enough!

Ten minutes driving from Klaksvik, there’s also a public bus. Two rooms: one bedroom and one kitchen with a sofa that turns into a comfortable bed. Kitchen has fridge, microwave oven with two electric plates, plus some kitchenware. There’s two external bathrooms to share with three rooms.

Appartamento molto grande e spazioso. La grande vetrata nel soggiorno offre una ampia vista sul mare. La cucina è molto bella e ben attrezzata con diversi elettrodomestici utili (macchina del caffè, tostapane, teiera, forno a microonde), oltre ovviamente a forno e lavastoviglie. Le stanze da letto (3) sono ampie a sufficienza con materassi molto comodi. Il bagno è invece essenziale, nel senso che è piccolo per la dimensione della casa che può tenere fino a 6 ospiti (noi eravamo in 4 con due bambini). La posizione infine è strategica perché in poco tempo di auto si raggiungono le principali escursioni (lago sospeso a 5 minuti di auto, bour a 20 minuti, traghetto per mykines a 15 minuti, 10 minuti al "dito della strega"). Le comunicazioni con l'host sono sempre state veloci ed efficaci

Alles wat je nodig hebt is er en het werkt. keuken en badkamer kunnen een update gebruiken. Goede bedden, prachtig uitzicht en een hartelijke gulle host. Ga lekker fish and chips bij hem eten in Klaksvík. Prima uitvalsplek voor het noorden van de Faroer

Our stay in Arnafjordur with Atli was wonderful and we already miss our home away from home. To start, the location was just lovely, as we got to be metres away from the water and staring down a fjord whenever we looked out the window. The town was also conveniently close to Klaksvik yet was quiet, peaceful, and not as overly touristed as some other parts of the Faroe Islands. Regarding our host, Atli, he was incredibly kind, helpful, and charitable. To start, he welcomed us with free beer and snacks, and even offered us a free meal at the fish and chips shack he owns in Klaksvik (delicious btw). He also saw to any issues we had immediately, and allowed to use the building’s washer and dryer for free. Long story short, we cannot recommend staying here enough.

Fantastiske omgivelser samt hyggeligt og brugbart lille hus. Perfekt beliggenhed til aktiviteter og ture rundt på øerne. Senge desværre meget små og korte. Emhætte larmer. Værten sød og hjælpsom, og meget nem at få fat i. Helt sikkert et sted vi vil overveje igen.

Words can’t describe how happy we were in Gunnar’s place! It’s a cosy boathouse, facing the inlet. Shea’s sail right in from of the terrace, and the smell of the Atlantic ocean is exhilarating. I would never be able to afford such a beautiful place in Canada (I’m Canadian). We enjoyed every moment in this place! The famous fish and chips truck is just a short walk away. We stayed in many places in Faroes Islands, but this boathouse is our favourite by far!

Vackert läge, enkelt att hitta från färjan. Nära till bussen för att åka till Mikladalur och Trölanes. Ett rent och välskött hus. En tillmötesgående värd i John. Allt var perfekt.

Flot udsigt. Fine gåture i området. Behagelig vært. Masser af plads. Alt fungerede perfekt.

Perfect place to stay with beautiful surroundings. Peaceful, quiet neighborhood. Recommend to people who would like to explore northern islands.

Sehr schönes Haus, gute Ausstattung und ruhige Lage! War perfekt, um die Inseln zu erkunden, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit! Rani war sehr hilfsbereit und hat bei Fragen sehr schnell und zuvorkommend reagiert. Wenn wir wiederkommen, dann buchen wir auf jeden Fall wieder bei Rani :)

Nous sommes satisfaits de notre séjour chez Erland... bel emplacement, appartement agréable et bien chauffé... rien à redire... petit regret : que les wc ne soient pas séparés de la salle de bain... manque peut-être un balai pour le petit ménage...
