I had a beautiful time at the Stables! It’s a getaway from the world at a working farm. I love animals, so I asked to meet some of them, and Yvonne took me to see (and pet!) the milking cows, and explained the entire process to me! The house had traditional charm but was has been updated everywhere that it counts. They have lists of local recommendations but I was happy to get groceries and use the excellent kitchen at the property. I did not have a car and was warned about difficulty getting around but as I was only interested in nature and peace and quiet, getting to and from on public transport was easy enough. Finally, Yvonne was always prompt responding to me and was very friendly and welcoming! I’d love to come back!

Fantastic stay and great location. The owners were very quick to respond when messaged and they very kindly gave us a tour of their farm which we loved. I would highly recommend. 😊

we had a great stay. the area is very peaceful, but within easy distance of main roads. pubs and local walks. lots to do locally and slightly further afield. the house was exactly as pictured, and very clean. the kitchen had everything we needed, including plastic plates for little ones. hosts were easy to contact but respectful of privacy. we'd definitely book again!

We were so happy in Ann’s cottage. The bed in particular was very comfortable and the bedding of high quality. So important to sleep well! The cottage is full of character and beautifully warm. The kitchen is small but has everything you need for preparing a family meal. Having a washing machine was a real bonus on a long stay. I also appreciated the immaculate oven and hob. Ann was super responsive when there was a problem with the heating. And Linda was always ready to help in any way. Thank you both!

We had a wonderful break with our two children. We loved staying in the converted barn and the garden and stunning views just made it extra special.

Beautiful property. Animals especially chickens and the dog were a delight to adopt for the stay. Ellie was a fabulous host avd and really gracious and helpful. A perfect place, local pub was a good walk but very doable and really friendly. All in all a great experience, host and barn.

Larch Barn was perfect for myself and 2 friends. We were blown away with the location and space inside and outside the barn. It was a luxury to have our own bedrooms and bathrooms. We enjoyed relaxing in the huge garden after a day exploring the area. The only negative was that we didn’t want to leave!! Would definitely return…

We had a wonderful time staying at the Stone Barn. We were blown away by how lovely the barn was. We were greeted by lambs in the field next door on our arrival, treated to a spectacular sunset and enjoyed a peaceful private stay. There were lots of small thoughtful aspects to the barn that we really appreciated for example Easter themed decor and treats, milk and coffee pods, a bluetooth speaker, a very detailed folder about what was around in the area and toiletries were provided (even some sleep spray for your pillow!). We regret that we didn't book to stay for longer as we loved our time at the barn so much. We will definitely be returning! Thank you Nicky and Mark.

Was perfect for a Valentines getaway! We are so grateful to Sam and Adrian for extending their hospitality, they truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to make sure we had plenty of information about the surrounding area! We have to give our thanks also to William who provided lots of snacks and drinks through his tuck shop :) The barn itself was cosy yet spacious, the bed was super comfortable and water pressure in the shower was decent. The kitchen was fully-equipped for us to make a beef wellington on Valentines night!! Even the temperatures were near freezing - that didn’t stop us from taking full advantage of the fire place out on the patio! Overall we had a wonderful stay and would love to come and stay again! Thank you again Sam, Adrian and William!

It was our second stay at the old stable. We feel like home and can’t wait to come back. Gillian is a great host and the house a great location to explore the Cotswolds.

The property was absolutely gorgeous. It was very tastefully decorated and furnished beautifully. I really liked the extra touch of the welcome flowers, the toiletries and even some milk in the fridge for us to use; it really made the place feel like home. At the end of our days exploring, we sat outside on the patio in rattan style furniture to read a book and in the evenings when it got a little chilly, we retired indoors and lit the log fire, which was a lovely feature and reminded us of home. We would highly recommend this property. The hosts Andrew and Rachel were lovely and very helpful. This is a property that we would return to again when visiting this area. This is the perfect accommodation in a charming village. The interior is decorated with great taste and is located in an imposing old barn. Everything you need for an extended stay in this beautiful countryside. There are countless footpaths to choose from. Make sure your legs are strong!

Lovely 5 night stay at the cottage with my two boys. It was quiet and peaceful, clean and perfectly equipped for our break. It’s in a great location. We bounced around local castles and walks by day, we cooked, watched films and cosied up by the fire in the evenings. The home baked cake that was left for our arrival made for the perfect add on to our packed lunches each day. Raglan Castle and the Forest of Dean were big hits, as was Symonds Yat. The beds were super comfy, I’ll miss the lovely powerful showers now we’re home, and we had everything we needed. James is a very responsive and helpful host, huge thanks for the early check in and sharing your beautiful space with us.

We loved staying here as a group of 14 for a Hen Do. Kate was great in the run up to the weeks , helping me with recommendations for the area and taxis. The barns were beautiful, lots of room and a great space for everyone to come together but also do their own thing. The large dining table that seated all 14 of us was perfect for dinner and the hot tub looked over the most beautiful scenery. I’d recommend this air bnb for anyone looking for a country get away in a special and rural location.

Carol’s place is very comfortable and luxurious - just as described in the listing. It’s a perfect location within walking distance of all the amenities in the lovely village of Marshfield and close to Bath and Bristol. Highly recommended.

Really wonderful stay, Cheryl couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful but wasn’t over barring and gave us our privacy. The barn was stunning included so much stuff including a delicious welcome fruit loaf! Very clean, smart and modern without detracting from its character. Location is beautiful peaceful perfect for our dog and us . Also the Old Farie Inn has cracking food and is really friendly and cosy. Have come home feeling super relaxed!

Clive, the host was very welcoming with lots of helpful information but at the same time gave us space for a quiet couple of days. A great location which was walkable to nice pubs in the village and a fantastic base to explore the Cotswolds, Stratford upon Avon and surrounding areas. Plenty of national trust properties/gardens in the area too. A spotless property with many little extras like bread, yogurts, milk etc which made the stay so easy. Would happily return again.

Elena and Bernard were the perfect hosts. The Barn was very easy to find, a beautiful peaceful location next to St Andrews Church. Everything was spotless, one of the best equipped kitchens we've had with Air B&B. Such a comfortable bed, plenty of space to put your things away. Beautiful bathroom, lovely hot shower and fluffy towels. We had a problem with the Internet and Bernard came round straight away and sorted it out for us. We enjoyed sitting in the private courtyard as we were lucky with the weather. Would definitely recommend staying here, and hopefully we will again in the future. We had the most amazing time at the Cider Barn. The place was very clean, very well equipped and the fridge stocked up with some basic essentials as well as some treats. The sunset views from the barn are fantastic, it is in a remote location with very little sound or light pollution. Richard and Di provided local recommendations for shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed just staying in, cooking and seating by the fire. Richard and Di are fantastic hosts and I would highly recommend their place to anyone looking for relaxation at home away from home.

Joanna is an extremely hospitable, very friendly and personable host. She took time to chat about her animals and made us feel right at home. We only stayed for one night during a stay in the West Country, but would highly recommend to any couples who love very peaceful rural surroundings and not to forget the Alpaca’s, Horses, Sheep and the Pony’s. Great host, highly recommend!
