Unser Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Haus am See war traumhaft! Die Lage ist unschlagbar – absolute Ruhe, eine atemberaubende Aussicht und eine perfekte Umgebung zum Entspannen. Das Haus selbst ist liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt braucht. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Gastgeber: unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und stets darauf bedacht, dass wir uns wohlfühlen. Von der ersten Kommunikation bis zur Abreise war alles perfekt organisiert. Wer eine idyllische Auszeit sucht, ist hier richtig.

Julian fue muy amable en todo momento, respondió rápido, nos guió al alojamiento, adicional el lugar estaba impecable muy limpio y ordenado, nos dejó varias cosas de cocina qué hicieron la experiencia inigualable

Nos encantó el alojamiento de Julian. Todo muy bien limpio y ordenado y la vista está fantástica. Además, Julian siempre fue muy atento con nosotros en todo momento. Nos brindó información útil y nos facilitó la contratación de tours, a parte que el uso incluido de kayak fue una maravilla. Sin duda nos volveríamos a quedar en su alojamiento.

I have never stayed on this side of the lake, but I have always wanted to. This place is a jewel of a property. I had an incredible visit. Service and communication is top-notch and it is quiet. I have been coming to Guatemala for 15 years and feel that I am an authority on these matters. Their dogs are very well behaved and quiet. the neighbors have no dogs or roosters and no early morning boats to wake you up. Being way off the road there are no motos, chicken buses or Tuk Tuks either. In the day, there can be some jet skiing or other private boats and helicopters, but they pass by fast enough. I believe their plan is to eventually have a restaurant, but it is worth noting that you will need to carry your food in on a 15 minute walk so come prepared for that. Very limited dining options in town. Water crystal clear and great for swimming. I’d give 6 stars out of 5 if that was an option. Will be returning. Easily the quietest and most peaceful place on the lake I have stayed.

Exelente hubicacion, cómoda habitación, actitud de servicio y proactiva de parte de la anfitriona

Todo bien con nuestra estancia y buena comunicación con la Host. Algo que no tiene que ver con el alojamiento pero que considero importante mencionar, es que mucha gente local llega a lavar ropa y bañarse con jabón, todo el día, en la parte del lago que da al alojamiento. El agua está muy sucia y no se puede nadar en esa parte del lago (triste la contaminación). A tomar en cuenta si lo que quieren es disfrutar nadando en el lago.

Nuestra estadía fue muy agradable y tranquila. La casa coincidía con las especificaciones proporcionadas, todo ordenado y muy limpio, las indicaciones para la llegada fueron claras y la ubicación precisa. Me gustó la privacidad, así como el estilo de la casa. A pocos metros, se tiene acceso al lago. Cerro de Oro es un lugar muy tranquilo; sin embargo, no hay muchos restaurantes, por lo que es recomendable llevar comida. Afortunadamente, la casa cuenta con los utensilios necesarios para la cocina y el comedor. En el área de dormitorios, las camas son súper cómodas, ¡se duerme a gusto! ¡uno se siente en casa! José fue muy atento y amable, siempre estuvo pendiente de nuestra estancia. Además, nos dio varias recomendaciones para conocer la zona, y decidimos visitar Santiago La Laguna. Anécdota: En nuestra última noche, encontramos dos alacranes pequeños en el dormitorio. Debido a la hermosa naturaleza que rodea la casa, no me sorprendió, pero es importante tomar precauciones.

This place is a great, no frills accommodation right on Lake Atitlán with a gorgeous garden. They have a great restaurant on site too. We spent a few hours drinking micheladas on the terrace. Highly recommended.

Pasamos unos dias muy lindos en esta estancia, la comida fue deliciosa y los jardines muy amplios y cuidados.

Carolina’s beautiful house by the water, with its stunning yet peaceful view, was perfect for our family reunion. We had a great time there and will definitely go back again! And Carolina is a super host, very easy to communicate with, and super kind.

Increíble lugar, las fotos del anuncio son hermosas pero en persona superó las expectativas. La casa muy amplia, con muchos ambientes para que, aunque hayan muchas personas, cada quien puede tener su espacio.Tiene todo lo necesario. El jardín hermoso así como la salida al lago. Muy cerca de Santiago que también la calle principal muy bonita. Don Eduardo muy amable nos apoyó muchísimo. Seguramente volveremos, muchas gracias por todo.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in our tiny home! It was so peaceful to come back and enjoy peace and quiet on the deck after wandering around the town of San Juan. We were pleasantly surprised at how walkable the location was, despite only being mostly accessible by boat. There was a lovely little path that led you straight to some great restaurants on the water and was a short distance from the town of San Juan. I would definitely recommend packing light if you unable to be dropped off by boat, however, we lucked out and were able to access by boat. It is a sweet little gem with a relaxing view of the town and the lake. We enjoyed sitting on the porch every night with some wine and just listening to the sounds of nature and some distant sounds of celebration from San Juan. I would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful place within walking distance of San Juan or short tuktuk ride to San Pedro.

Getting to this place is definitely an adventure as many others have mentioned. The walking path requires you to be comfortable with a rocky little hike. However, you are rewarded with the most gorgeous views, infinite privacy, and restorative solitude. The place had everything I needed to enjoy being this close to the lake. It was a wonderful experience staying here and I enjoyed how off the baten path it was.

Great place! A little bit away from the town-so getting a tuk tuk can be a little challenging but not too hard. Place was clean and unique! Luis was great at communicating!!

Place it’s a little bit hidden, but when he called the owner, they will come for you right away and bring you to your place. sheets were clean. Places walking distance to the beach however, we decided to drive few kilometers away to another beach or you can get amazing ceviche. Somebody was coming every day to clean the yard. When we arrived, the town had no power, but the owner brought generator. I can’t complain about anything.. very nice people. Close by you can go to the fisherman‘s and get fresh fish or shrimp. I recommend that place.

Nos encantó la casa, la tranquilidad, el paisaje, la accesibilidad del anfitrión, siempre estuvo atento a nuestra comunicación, nos encantó tener acceso a paddle board, fue una gran experiencia para todos. Nos hubiera gustado que la playa estuviera bien para nadar, ya que habían muchas algas. Con gusto volveríamos, logramos descansar en un ambiente rodeado de la naturaleza. Hacer fogata en familia fue una linda experiencia. Recomendamos este lugar sin problema alguno.
