Tolle Unterkunft mit einer herrlichen Aussicht auf den See. Die Anfahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich und man muss sich bewusst sein, dass man zwar ruhig wohnt aber dafür weit weg von den Orten wohnt. Der whirlpool funktioniert, wenn man den über längere Zeit vorheizt. Einen Kamin haben wir nicht entdeckt, auch eine Heizung oder funktionierende Klimaanlage. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft ein Traum und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

let me first start off by saying, you NEED to book here if you’re visiting Lake Atitlan. Angel and the entire staff was so friendly. They made us feel like we’re their family. We visited for my son’s 5th birthday, and they decorated the entire room with balloons and even bought him 2 local car toys. It was amazing. The breakfast, snacks and dinners we ate were always good. They even bought us smores to make one night since upstairs has a little fire pit. My kid loved it! You do have to take a lancha to get here, but ask the host and they should be able to arrange. They had so many amenities for kids to enjoy! Pool, bouncy house, jet skis, kayaks, so much!! Some for a fee, keep that in mind. The only off putting thing we experienced was lack of water since it’s in a rural area. The water works, but you might need to contact host to turn it on. Everything was just amazing and the views were amazing. We are so thankful for Angel and the staff 🥰❤️🙏🏼

Lugar excelente para salir del ruido de la ciudad y al mismo tiempo aprovechar los parques del IRTRA. El lugar es amplio y fresco, todo limpio, la cocina tiene todos los esenciales y se encuentra dentro de una colonia tranquila y bonita, llena de naturaleza, en donde no se escucha el sonido de la carretera. El anfitrión ha sido el más amable de todas mis estadías con airbnb, con excelentes recomendaciones y atención rápida y eficaz. Mi estadía en Retalhuleu fue definitivamente mejor gracias a haber escogido este lugar para quedarnos, espero volver pronto.

Precioso lugar para descansar, relajarte y compartir con la familia. Las vistas son increíbles, excelentes instalaciones con personal muy amable.

Beautiful porch and view with easy access to the lake. Comfortable and clean bedrooms. Kitchen had a coffee pot, blender, microwave, and everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were wonderful too; very attentive.

Richard was an awesome host, water taxi driver, master breakfast chief with a great attitude. His place is definitely rustic and it is a climb, but the location is unbelievable!

This is a great cabin to get away from everything. The construction is really nice, the bed is comfy, and the property is beautiful. When we were there the thimbleberries were perfectly ripe and so good. It's private and quiet (except when the cows cross the road). The insects and birds in the evening are relaxing from the upstairs porch. The wood stove is nice but can get a bit smoky where it's not sealed until the fire really gets going. Everybody involved is nice and helpful. You do have to get a tuk tuk or pickup to the property and they might try to overcharge you, but overall it's not *too* inconvenient to come and go if you're patient. It is out of the way and there's only a few places within walking distance, and no direct lake access nearby, but the place itself is lovely.

La ksita es tal cual se promociona. un alojamiento muy bonito con mucha libertad y facilidades, como fogata y kayak sin costo. El área de cocina al área libre es muy agradable y permite compartir con familia en un lugar bonito. La playa puede mejorar en cuanto a limpieza. También el último tramo de acceso es difícil de transitar por la poca señalización. Sin embargo el lugar vale la pena y vale lo que se paga. Lo recomiendo.

Wir hatte eine sehr tolle Zeit im bambushaus. Sehr zu empfehlen wenn man bisschen chillen will, jedoch auch relativ nahe am Zentrum Von san Pedro sein will. 🫶🏻 thx

We had a lovely stay! The house is very conveniently located at the edge of town. The view of the lake was awesome! We felt very comfortable and communication with the hosts was great. Would come back here again. However I would say it's quiet small. Unfortunately you hear the loud music from town over the water (in the town it's actually not as loud). It was not too loud to have trouble sleeping and it stopped well before midnight. However it took away from the tranquillity of the place a bit. We did not mind it too much.

We really loved our stay here. The view is amazing with lots of windows and the kitchen is very well stocked with anything you might need. The location is also perfect with the house being right next to the best beaches in San Pedro. Juan was also very responsive and accommodating. We hope to return soon. Gracias!

Great place! A little bit away from the town-so getting a tuk tuk can be a little challenging but not too hard. Place was clean and unique! Luis was great at communicating!!

Todo muy bonito limpio y organizado, la comunicación fue constante y el cuidador siempre al pendiente de lo que se pudiera necesitar, la vista es impresionante.
