This is our second time staying here, and everything was perfect. We love how private and peaceful it is. There are stairs you have to go down to get to the lake, but it’s worth it because once you’re at the bottom, you have a large garden with a private pool, pool table, and foosball table. There were 2 paddle boards, 2 kayaks, life jackets, and a paddle boat. It has a private beach and we loved swimming in the lake. The jacuzzi is nice when it gets a little colder out. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare your meals. Pedro the caretaker was very friendly and helpful. It’s very easy to find using Waze. We hope to go back soon!

The home has spectacular views. The home was pristine and very peaceful. Daniel and Dexter were great. They assisted us in getting us to the house. Maria was amazing she made meals for us upon request. She cooks amazingly delicious.

Nestled along the serene shores of Lake Atitlán, this house is truly a hidden gem. The location is breathtaking—surrounded by majestic volcanoes and lush greenery, with views of the lake that are nothing short of magical. Whether you're watching the sunrise paint the sky in hues of gold and pink or soaking in the tranquility of the water, every moment feels like a retreat into nature's paradise. The house itself is beautifully designed, combining rustic charm with modern comforts. It offers spacious and well-lit rooms that feel cozy yet elegant, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the vibrant local culture. The outdoor spaces are particularly delightful, with terraces or gardens where you can unwind and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature.

Beautiful place with picturesque views! Very clean. We comfortably slept 5 and had plenty of space. We liked having access to the nearby hotel’s amenities. Highly recommend.

Julia and Daniel's place was beautiful. The place was clean and as mentioned in the listing. They also provided coffee, sugar, salt/pepper etc. Including filtered water. Daniel also arranged to have requested groceries ready for us through the property manager Bartolo who was very helpful and always available to answer questions. I got locked out of the laundry room and he came right away to open the door for us. We enjoyed the warm hot tub/pool with beautiful surroundings. We would definitely stay here again.

Tres Tortugas is an incredible property, astoundingly beautiful, and worth the challenge of getting there on the unpaved road leading to the house. Alex helped us get a driver to bring us there and we are happy we didn't drive there ourselves. We were coming from Antigua and did our supermarket shopping there so we didn't drive off the property at all until we the end of our stay. Staff lives on the property and helped us bring our luggage in when we arrived. The pictures don't fully capture its beauty. The views are spectacular, the property grounds lush and really well-maintained, with lake access down quite a few stairs directly to Lake Atitlan and a private dock. Alex helped us arrange private boats to ferry us for day trips to other towns along the lake. All in all a truly special experience.

Best last minute booking we’ve ever had. Location is perfect to enjoy the area restaurants and well positioned in Lake Atitlan. Would highly recommend.

Vielen Dank für die schönen Tage. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen! :) Wenn ich eine Kleinigkeit verbessern würde, wäre es, wenn man mit dem Auto kommt, das erste Treffen auf dem inkludierten Parkplatz zu machen. Dies würde helfen den vorgesehenen Parkplatz direkt zu finden. :)

Tolle Unterkunft mit einer herrlichen Aussicht auf den See. Die Anfahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich und man muss sich bewusst sein, dass man zwar ruhig wohnt aber dafür weit weg von den Orten wohnt. Der whirlpool funktioniert, wenn man den über längere Zeit vorheizt. Einen Kamin haben wir nicht entdeckt, auch eine Heizung oder funktionierende Klimaanlage. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft ein Traum und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

This cabin is the perfect escape—quiet, surrounded by forest, and filled with birdsongs. The views are absolutely breathtaking, making every moment here special. While it's outside of town, it's just a 5-minute tuktuk ride (about $2USD) or a 15-minute walk to the restaurants, cafes, and bars. Town can be noisy, so this peaceful setting is a huge plus. The solar power, Starlink internet, and filtered water are a rare find and make the stay even more comfortable. Ximena, the host, was amazing—friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful. If you want serenity, incredible views, and great amenities, this is the place. Highly recommend!

I believe that the restaurant on location is more than enough of a reason to stay at this location. There is a great selection of food and drinks with a friendly staff. Across the street, you'll find a nice pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and kayaks at your disposal. The little cabins offer that decompression you don't normally get from a basic hotel room. The shower drain was a little slow, but there was good hot water pressure and even a purified water tap. There was no TV in our cabin, but we weren't interested in that. The Wi-Fi speed was 12mbps, I believe. The property is covered in an assortment of flowers and plants that attract hummingbirds and butterflies etc. Only real complaint i have is the barking of dogs from neighboring properties. It can go on for hours, but closing windows and blinds helps to dampen the sound.

let me first start off by saying, you NEED to book here if you’re visiting Lake Atitlan. Angel and the entire staff was so friendly. They made us feel like we’re their family. We visited for my son’s 5th birthday, and they decorated the entire room with balloons and even bought him 2 local car toys. It was amazing. The breakfast, snacks and dinners we ate were always good. They even bought us smores to make one night since upstairs has a little fire pit. My kid loved it! You do have to take a lancha to get here, but ask the host and they should be able to arrange. They had so many amenities for kids to enjoy! Pool, bouncy house, jet skis, kayaks, so much!! Some for a fee, keep that in mind. The only off putting thing we experienced was lack of water since it’s in a rural area. The water works, but you might need to contact host to turn it on. Everything was just amazing and the views were amazing. We are so thankful for Angel and the staff 🥰❤️🙏🏼

Lugar excelente para salir del ruido de la ciudad y al mismo tiempo aprovechar los parques del IRTRA. El lugar es amplio y fresco, todo limpio, la cocina tiene todos los esenciales y se encuentra dentro de una colonia tranquila y bonita, llena de naturaleza, en donde no se escucha el sonido de la carretera. El anfitrión ha sido el más amable de todas mis estadías con airbnb, con excelentes recomendaciones y atención rápida y eficaz. Mi estadía en Retalhuleu fue definitivamente mejor gracias a haber escogido este lugar para quedarnos, espero volver pronto.

Todo estuvo excelente. Muy bonito y tranquilo, tiene muchas amenidades. No dejen pasar el jacuzzi. Una experiencia muy linda frente a ese paisaje al atardecer. Queda muy cerca caminando al centro del pueblo. El restaurante de al lado es excelente. Carolina, la anfitriona siempre muy pendiente. Recomendadísimo este Airbnb.
