Súðavík : locations de vacances

Were stayed in Iceland for almost 3 weeks. This was our favorite place by far. Felt right at home, the farmhouse was well suited for our group, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the spectacular views and surroundings, walks, & saw my first Northern Lights here, it was magical. Also had fun playing ping pong in the barn. A great location for exploring the Westfjords.

We stayed in this cabin and used it as a base to explore the Westfjords. What an excellent stay we had! The place was pristinely clean and larger than what we expected after viewing the pictures. There is excellent outdoor space with patio tables on both the front and back decks. Don't be nervous about the outdoor shower...It was an excellent way to start each day! Access to town is only 5 mins by car where you find grocery stores and a few restaurants. Our host provided tons of useful info to guide our journeys and was super responsive. We couldn't have asked for a better home away from home! Also, the Westfjords are ridiculously gorgeous and made for an experience I'll never forget.

Philip’s house is beautiful and very cozy. Everything is there, all kitchen utensils and bathroom products, even movies and fantastic board games. I especially liked the viking game and highly recommend to try it. You can really feel at home there.

A beautiful apartment with wonderful views of the water. Spotless and very comfortable. Focus on the environment. Lots of interesting books about Iceland. Close to amazing sites like the Latrabjarg Cliffs and Rauoasandur Beach. We had a lovely time.

Die Unterkunft bietet viel Platz. Aufgeteilt auf zwei Stockwerken ist der Wohnraum sehr geräumig. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet. Im Badezimmer ist alles vorhanden - und auch ist reichlich Toilettenpapier vorhanden (liegt in den Schränken). Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Vermieter - Ingi und Snorri - waren stets erreichbar. Auch Vorschläge waren uns willkommen, beispielsweise in der Nacht bevorstehendes Nordlichtschauspiel. Die Unterkunft liegt mitten, zentral in den Westfjorden. Umgeben von vielen weiteren Fjorden ist es ein atemberaubendes Schauspiel der Natur. Von Nordlichtern in der Nacht, beeindruckende Wasserfälle, im Herbst eine farbenfrohe Hügellandschaft und Schwärme von Vögeln, Seehunden, Wasservögeln, und eine Stille die einen zur Ruhe kommen lässt. Wir kommen wieder!

De host: gemoedelijk, correct, snel, attent. De Locatie: Heb geduld (vanaf de afslag 40min), rijd voorzichtig, geniet van het zicht dat je tegemoet rijdt, het is afgelegen maar het is de moeite waard. Het huis: Bij het binnenkomen van het huis voel je onmiddelijk een huiselijke warmte, het is practisch, gezellig, heeft een prachtig uitzicht. De dieren: de honden, de schapen, de vogels, de zeehonden, de vos,... maken de uitstappen nog unieker. Dankjewel!

The appartment was great, well equipped and clean with a great view. Snorri and his wife are excellent hosts, kind and helpful. We did have a small issue with the bathroom sink, as it would not drain the water at first - it turned out we are less than competent, as all we had to do was push a small button behind the faucet to open the drain 🤦‍♀️ Luckily for us, Snorri and his wife immediatelly came to our rescue and fixed it with a push of a button 😆 Anyway, we had a great time there and want to thank Snorri and his wife for an excellent stay!
