We met Peter on arrival who was friendly and warmly welcoming. The accommodation is new and has been well planned with a focus on attention to detail. It was comfortable, secure and spotlessly clean. All basic needs were provided for with a perfect balance of considerate provisions, including breakfast items which was a lovely touch. We enjoyed the rural location and watched the wildlife across the fields; Hares and a Sparrow Hawk were spotted. We would definitely use Peters accommodation again if returning to the area, it was a short drive to coastal walks, National Trust sites and RSPB reserves which is why we chose this location. 5 stars from us !

Clean, tidy, peaceful, warm and in a nice location with plenty to do. Comfy bed and nice linen. Everything in good working order. Folder with many helpful suggestions. Private patio with table and chairs, and onsite parking. We had a great time here.

Thank you to Louis and Roy for creating Moat Island. We felt really lucky to stay. Magical place as if someone’s Imagination dreamt it up. When new guests arrived you could hear them making the amazed sounds we did. Excellent and social open kitchen, loved that. The tents are top quality, sturdy, warm, large and homely, dry as a bone. Bed so comfy. Private own patch of space. Around our tent was our own family fire pit and a table to eat at, a compost loo if we didn’t feel like heading to the very well made modern bathrooms on site. Kids liked the hammock and swing bench. The natural pool was incredible, could of sat on the deck all day looking at the scene, lovely to swim in. Peaceful, driveable to everything - we went to the Broads, Fritton Owl Sanctuary, the North Coast, Holt, Pensthorpe Nature Reserve and into Norwich. Could just stay on the campsite all day though, plenty to do. I didn’t want to leave, will be back!

Maria was a wonderful host - had a fantastic time there and would recommend to anyone.

Had a lovely few days at the Crows nest, would highly recommend, the location was great for restaurants and shops. We couldn’t fault the apartment it had every thing we needed, very comfortable would definitely like to return

A convenient, clean well presented cottage. Out of the way but a shop and amenities near by.

Fabulous stay at this wonderful little cottage. Stop looking and book this you will not be disappointed. Every little thing you could possibly need is supplied along with delicious bread eggs cereals jams teas n coffee. Gem of a place! 😀

Thank you Debbie and Ian for providing such a brilliant place to stay! We had everything we could need including welcoming touches such as milk, juice, biscuits, tea, coffee and fresh flowers. Felt very private, even though attached to the house, with our own garden space and parking. Would thoroughly recommend and book again if we are in the area.

We’ve just enjoyed 5 fabulous days at The Bothy, where Julie and Graham were consummate hosts. Thoughtful little touches, like providing a welcome pack and breakfast ingredients were very much appreciated. We really enjoyed the homemade cake and jams! The Bothy is light, clean and airy, and was well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a few days away. The bed was extremely comfortable as were the sofas in the living room. (Throws were also provided so you can snuggle up with your dog!) Loved that guest access was provided for using streaming services on the TV. This is such a lovely place to stay: well placed for visits to The Broads, Norwich and the beautiful Norfolk coast, with many local country pubs if you fancy eating out. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Bothy for a trip to Norfolk, and we will definitely return. Thank you so much, Julie and Graham!

What a beautiful house, we couldn’t believe it lived up to the photos. Incredible facilities, gorgeous garden, we were absolutely blown away. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this house. We stayed here as 7 couples for a 40th birthday and it was great knowing everyone had a beautiful room. The dining room worked fantastically for dinner and post-dinner games of mafia. We will be visiting again!

We had a big family gathering with 4 generations attending. Everyone had a great time and we really enjoyed the space. Garden was great for the kids and we loved the boat. Highly recommended

An outstanding property situated in gorgeous countryside. Rural, quiet but easy access to main routes. We had a lovely family stay. The 4 bedroom property offers everything. Rosie the Host provides a full hamper. Our check in was easy and Rosie contacted me with an earlier check-in time. I would not hesitate to recommend Oak Barn.

Peters house is a real gem of a find. We were a group of 6 friends and 5 small children and the house worked perfectly for us. The bedrooms are really spacious and well equipped, the living space downstairs is brilliant as the rooms are big and there is plenty of space to spread out. The house was very clean along with clean linen and towels. The playroom was a big hit with the children and have the adults a chance to relax in the cosy lounge. The garden is immaculately kept along with the plants that the owners clearly take much pride in keeping. The location is also fab, being a short walk into town or drive to Southwold by the sea. Peter and his wife are very helpful, kind and accommodating. We are hoping to return again next year and thank you for a wonderful stay.

we came here as a large family for a weekend the house was immaculate and the hosts were extremely friendly they had made us a cake put out fresh flowers and beautiful scented diffusers the place smelt amazing we were all very impressed it was spacious throughout and all bedrooms were lovely stairs to second floor were a little tricky for less able people but this didn’t prove an issue for us we would definitely come back again thankyou james and mary

What a fantastic stay! Kim was very communicative in the booking and check in process. The flat was spotless on arrival and she had left lots of treats for the stay with coffee/tea/condiments/spices. It felt just like a home away from home. The location was fantastic for walking everywhere as it's so close to the train station. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!

My mum and I have just returned home from a long weekend staying in the Orford Studio and it was absolutely perfect. The accommodation is lovely - it is the perfect size, clean and cosy and has everything you could ever need. All the little touches and extra's made us feel at home straight away - we especially loved the underfloor heating and DVD's available! The check in and out is very quick and easy and Sasha made sure that we were all okay and had everything we need. We loved the site of the studio's; we went on some walks around the fields and loved waking up to the ducks in the morning. The location of the studio's is perfect - it's so close to all the neighbouring towns and places we wanted to visit and was a perfect place to stay. We had an absolutely amazing stay here and already want to return - I highly recommend! Thank you!

Had a lovely stay here over the holiday season with my family of 6 (grandparents, us, kid, and cousin). Alex had even left a Christmas tree up for us (we arrived in the 24th of December) and the local recommendations were extremely helpful. Never had to wait long for answers when we had questions, and Alex even took the initiative to let us know when some extra drinks were available for us from another event, or when later check out was possible. The grounds are peaceful and immaculately maintained. The surrounding area is quiet and there isn’t much in walking distance but there are plenty of cozy and delicious pubs, cafes, and restaurants in both Newmarket and Bury, which are just a few minutes from the property. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone who wants to have a peaceful and restorative stay away from the bustle of city life.

thankyou for such a glorious stay! the place is nestled in a quiet tranquil spot next to a running river and sauna of which was refreshing to dip into.. the bed was super comfy and all the necessary facilities in kitchen and bathroom were plentiful with an addition of some goodies on arrival :) im very sure we will be back !! Beautiful, AND a lovely quaint pub at the top of the drive with delicious, local food menue, a true bonus..

Myself and 6 girlfriends stayed in the Attic Apartment at Lanwades Hall and it was absolutely perfect for us. We all got our own rooms which was absolutely ideal for our group and the number of bathrooms and toilet were spot on. Alex the host was absolutely fantastic throughout, responsive to all questions before we arrived and was so friendly and helpful whilst we were there too, nothing was too much and the complimentary Celebrations went down a treat! :-) We could not fault the location either, it was absolutely ideal as it's just a walk away from Kennett Station so we were easily able to do a day trip into Cambridge within 30 minutes. It's also just a 10 minute taxi into Newmarket where we went for a fantastic dinner at Unico followed by cocktails and a live singer at a fantastic bar called Gee Gee's. If you were going to the races then it would also be perfect. Thanks so much Alex for everything, we expect to return again.

Matthew and Caroline were great hosts; ensuring we had everything we needed for our short stay. The woods nearby are great for exploring and the accommodation has some great features. It was a fantastic change of scenery and would definitely fully recommend both the accommodation and the hosts. Thanks for a lovely time!
