I felt at home, the host was very kind, respectful and responsive. Great neighborhood, near to the Logan Airport, shopping centers and restaurants. The house is very clean and well arranged. It’s also very peaceful. We had so much fun staying there.

Visiting a large family for Thanksgiving can always be hectic but staying at Anna's and Milan's house provided that 'calm base camp' it is always nice to come home too. Since the T stops literally at the front door you really don't need a car. But if you do have one there is parking spot in the driveway so what more can you ask for in Boston in regards to transportation. The view is beautiful from the second floor apartment and I literally only had to go across the street to gather my most important collectible on each trip, native beach stones. there's no better place to stay in Winthrop

This place was a great place to stay for our week visit in Boston. The apartment is very conveniently located to the subway, so getting around was very easy, and it was close to the airport as well. It was also very clean and fit the four of us very comfortably. The walls are thin so it’s a little loud with street noise in the front bedroom, but nothing some ear plugs didn’t fix. The TV didn’t really work, but as we were there to explore it didn’t really matter.

We stayed here with two toddlers and had a great time! The hosts were very responsive: * We flew in from the west coast on a red eye, and asked if it would be possible to check in early. The hosts very graciously let us check in super early, so we could take a post-flight family nap. * It was cold and snowy during our visit, and the host was on-site right after the storm to shovel and salt the walkways and driveways. Their proactive actions made it possible for us to safely ferry our young children back and forth to/from our car. In addition, the Airbnb was very clean, and came stocked with enough cookware/etc for us to cook and eat family meals together. The travel crib was excellent and fit, assembled, into the closet of the main bedroom. The bedding was clean and warm. And the entire place, despite being in a basement, is centrally heated; we could keep it warm enough for our young kids despite the cold weather. And there were some toys! A great place for families

Mikes place was great for our stay while visiting BC! Easy walk to campus, and Cleveland Circle. Everything was clean and organized. It was nice to have parking as well.

Great place to stay and Ryan was super responsive and communicative. No problems with a late check in and everything was exactly as we expected. Ryan checked in regularly to make sure everything was to our liking and when one small unexpected issue arose, he took care of it immediately. We were happy to stay there and would book again on our next trip to the Boston area.

Clean apartment in calm neighborhood with good amenities and appliances. Street parking was free and easy to find. Close to Target,CVS, and walgreens. 15 minutes to Boston city with cheap ubers/lyfts to get there. And close to Somerville and Cambridge. Wonderful stay.

The community environment is elegant and clean. It is a very great experience. It would be more perfect if there was no dog poop in the yard.

Ich hatte SOO eine wunderbare Zeit bei Maria! Hier für einen 6-wöchigen Forschungsaufenthalt war mir eine ruhige und saubere Wohnung in Uninähe wichtig. Und mit Maria und ihrer Wohung wurden meine Erwartungen übertroffen! Die Wohnung ist ruhig, aber trotzdem in einer sehr sicheren Nachbarschaft gelegen. Ich hatte viel Platz und habe, obwohl ich eine ziemlich anspruchsvolle Schläferin bin, so erholsame Nächte in dem großen und gemütlichen Bett gehabt. Maria war sehr zuvorkommend, ist eine sehr freundliche und angenehme Person und immer sehr gut erreichbar. Wenn ich nochmal wieder kommen sollte, dann würde ich mich sofort wieder für Maria entscheiden!

Qing's place is exactly as described and it served my needs for a one night stay. I had to stay close to Cambridge for a work event so I didn't spend much time at the apartment except to sleep, but it is very clean and private and I was able to park in the driveway. As others have mentioned, you can hear the upstairs neighbors so I recommend ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. The bed is also quite firm but I didn't find it uncomfortable. Qing was very responsive to any questions.

We had an excellent stay with Aaron in this basement apartment! The location is perfect for those who want to be walkable to Somerville and Cambridge, as it is right on the line of the two neighborhoods. Great local businesses, clean property with everything we needed, and very communicative, friendly and helpful host.

We had a great stay at Eugenia's place, very comfortable and accommodating for our short stay. Would absolutely recommend to those looking for a place in the area!

Hmmm...where to start? Janet's place was the best Airbnb experience out of all my stays. Her place was clean, spacious, and even better than the pictures depicted. The kitchen was well-appointed and clean, as were the bedrooms and living room. She labeled many areas, which was very helpful! The beds and couch were comfortable and we easily felt at home. It was also nice to have some room in the driveway to avoid searching the street for parking. About Janet: Couldn't have a better host! She was very responsive to messages and treated us with great hospitality and attention. Janet was very helpful and accommodating and offered local advice when asked. If Airbnb had a Super Super Host designation, Janet would earn it, hands down. I would stay at her place again if ever back in Boston. I've already recommended it to others! Thanks for a great stay, Janet. Loved your place!

Kjersti's house was great and quintessential Cambridge. The space was great for the four of us (2 adults, 2 teen kids). Like the other reviews, walking and movement from the upstairs can be heard, so if you're a light sleeper, this may not be the best for you. There are some great cafe (Asaro bakery) and food spots (Gufo) within walking distance. The closest red line (Harvard) and green line (Union Square) T stops are each ~3/4 mile away. It's totally fine if you don't mind walking. Just keep that in mind, especially if weather isn't ideal.

Such a gem. Isabel's place was very clean and cozy. Location is wonderful..we used the T for the majority of our trip. We also enjoyed the Columbian restaurant on the corner...they had delicious baked goods. We hope to visit Boston again and will book with Isabel.

Carol and John’s home is a hidden gem! It is located right on the beach and you can wake up every morning to the most beautiful sight. My husband and I wanted to go away from the weekend but not have to travel too far. This was the perfect place to allow us to relax and unwind for an extended weekend. The hot tub and fire place made everything even better! We’ll certainly be back! :)

Doug and Hope were fantastic hosts. Very friendly and willing to help with anything I may have needed. I especially appreciated the extra attention they put into welcoming us by giving a small welcome gift and note. You can tell they pay attention to the details. The property is beautiful as well! Loved our time there.

I asked tons of questions to Anthony, but he was answering very kindly, and replying so fast. Also, this place is awesome, quiet and small island town. Ocean view is the most impressive thing in this house! I took a lots of photos 😀😀

Great location in the North End of Boston. Easy walking to lots of restaurants, bakeries and the historic district of Boston. We used it to attend an event at TD Garden and it was an easy walk. Easy access to the subway station in lower TD Garden to go to lots of other places besides the North End. We always felt safe walking in the area.

We loved every second, I won’t stay anywhere else in Boston. The location is fantastic, great restaurants all around. The apartment was spotless had amazing views and we felt right at home! Thanks so much Johna, we’ll be back!

Janaina's home was the perfect place to stay for the Boston Marathon. We were close to the train station, but far enough away from the mayhem of Boston. We avoided crazy traffic and expensive hotels. Plus the kids loved the giant tub which made for a great bubble bath!

Alex was an excellent host, responding to my questions and even gave helpful suggestions regarding places to eat etc. Everything was as advertised and the place was very clean.
