Exactly what we needed

From the moment I arrived, this Airbnb exceeded all my expectations. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity I could possibly need (and then some). The host clearly put a lot of thought into the little details—fresh towels and even a personalized welcome note. The bed and couch was incredibly comfortable, the Wi-Fi was strong, and the location was perfect—close to everything but still quiet and peaceful at night. I’ve stayed at quite a few Airbnbs, but this one truly stood out for its warmth, charm, and overall comfort. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free experience!

I have stayed at Richard's Still Wind Retreat many times, and I look forward to it each time! The actual space is beautiful, with Richard's artistry and creativity evident everywhere. The private deck built just for Still Wind is my favorite place on earth! The tranquility and beauty of nature from that vantage point is breathtaking. Richard is also very responsive to any needs you might have. I would recommend Still Wind to everyone, it's an amazing place to stay!

This was our 2nd time staying here. Great view & perfect location to ski/snowboard & never have to get back in your car until its time to leave. Great location & has everything you need for a trip. Thanks again for another great trip to sugar mountain resort!!

Denise was incredible! We found ourselves in another place owned by someone else and it was not quite what we expected and I spoke to Denise and she was able to accommodate us at 9:00 pm at night. She was unbelievably helpful! This house was absolutely perfect for a large group of adults and teens and the location to skiing was awesome!

We had an amazing stay at Robs Airbnb. My friends and I wanted a getaway for the weekend to spend time away from our routine and get some skiing in. The place was really clean and met all our expectations. Super spacious and lots of room for 8-9 people to sleep. Rob was also super responsive when we locked ourselves out, he immediately responded and helped us get back inside. Overall a fantastic experience.

I am so overwhelmed with gratefulness for these wonderful hosts! Not only was the price of the home right in our budget, but from even before our stay everything was so well laid out and structured to make this experience so positive. We got the instructions for check in, days before we got there (which totally satisfies my slightly type A personality) so I was able to plan our trip. We arrived at the house and everything was clean. They had a great binder that gave the house guidelines and information, but they also included helpful resources with local amenities, and even marked off the ones that were heartbreakingly closed due to Helene. These little touches made it feel like we could have been staying with local loved ones rather than a rented home. While this was not a vacation for us- we are certainly keeping the information of this beautiful home for the future! It perfectly fit our family of 5. This was also our first AirBNB experience and I’m so relieved it was a good one!

The pictures do not do this property justice….the home & landscaping are awesome! It was too cold & windy for us to spend much time outside but that swing sure looked inviting, lol. And those who ventured to go out loved the hot tub! We booked Michael’s place bc our daughter’s birthday fell on Thanksgiving this year and having the double ovens, along with many pots & pans to cook with definitely made that task doable! One thing I wanted to share bc it’s usually important for our group when we travel, is the bedroom locations. Bedroom 1 is the only one located on the lower level. Bathroom is unattached. Bedroom 3 is the primary on the main level, with an attached primary bathroom. Main level also has a half bathroom. Bedroom 2 & bedroom 4 (bunk room) are on the upper level. Upper level tended to be a little cold for us while sleeping, but again, it was super cold & windy during our stay. And running the main level fireplace forced that hot air upstairs. We had a great & relaxing stay!

My family & I had a wonderful weekend stay. The girls loved the hot tub & the downstairs area.

Anne-Marie's place was absolutely perfect for our large group of 11 guys who were in town for a hike. There were more than enough beds to accommodate everyone and the linens were clean and comfortable. I was particularly amazed at how well-equipped the kitchen was. We have a chef in the group and he commented that he had never stayed at a rental that had as much in the kitchen as this house does. It was perfect for our gathering, a very short drive into Boone, and we got a lot of use out of the pool and poker table. We were there during March Madness and pre-loaded YouTube TV subscription was perfect for watching games while the fire roared next to it. 10/10 would stay here with a group again.

Nice house. A little dated, but that was kind of nostalgic. Mountain views are breathtaking!!

Our family had a lovely stay at Erin's place. The host was faultless with all of their communications and made everything as simple as possible for us to follow. The accommodation was very nicely decorated, had all the facilities we needed, spotlessly clean, and easy to find. We would not hesitate to stay here again. It really was a great experience.

I highly recommend the stay here at this specific room. We had a perfect view of the mountain. Easy access to the pool and hot tub. Our host was so helpful and very clear with instructions. My family has an amazing experience!

We loved our stay! The location was stunning and it was exactly what we needed for two people.

This Air bnb was perfect for me n my family .. everything was perfect for my family and me. Everything was clean, and the views were breathtaking. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook instead of leaving out for food. Plus, the host was so kind when I asked for help looking for some main attractions and the area. Scott did a great job and the unit was well appointed. The balcony was a nice morning option and have stocked coffee and sugar is always appreciated. Pro Tip: The lift outside the balcony is the top of a blue run so plan to drop off beginner skiers at the lodge to warm up. There is nothing like taking the last lift of the day all the way up this ski in ski out condo.

Katie was friendly and professional throughout the process. The condo was awesome, we stepped out with our ski eqpt and started skiing right at the top of the Oma slope. Will definitely come back for a repeat visit!

We couldn't have asked for a better place! It was even nicer in person than in the pictures. Such a warm, well decorated place. The candles were so enjoyable and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Meghan was easy to reach when needed. I would highly recommend staying!
