We had a wonderful time reconnecting with our two families. The property is beautiful and I love that the river is accessible right from the property. There were plenty of clean towels, the beds and bedding was very comfortable and clean. It was nice to have a washer and dryer, so that we could dry the wet clothes from playing in the snow. The kitchen was equipped with everything you would need and even small details (e.g. filled spice rack, staple ingredients like sugar) were provided. We hope to come again. Perhaps in the warmer season to enjoy the river up close. :-) Thanks for this fun time.

Jessi and Kate's place is so special and unique. The barn is spacious but incredibly cozy and welcoming -- we felt so at home during our stay, and it was a great space for two people and a dog. The kitchen is well-stocked with every appliance and utensil you might need for a great meal at home, and there are lots of comfy nooks to read and relax. We brought our pup who had an amazing time exploring -- the barn is truly dog friendly with dog toys and dishes available. The surrounding roads are beautiful, quiet and great for long walks, though they're also pretty hilly. While we were there (early March) we saw a lot of wildlife, including deer, coyotes, and wild turkeys, so were careful about keeping our dog on leash. The area is very rural and beautiful, but there also are some amazing restaurants and shops in Callicoon and the surrounding area. Jessi and her mom Kate were also helpful and responsive to any questions we had and proactive with advice and recommendations.

I stayed at this cozy barn unit for a month, and it was wonderful. The apartment was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and perfect for working from home or relaxing on the couch. The layout was thoughtfully designed, and the snowy landscape made it feel like a winter wonderland—I even saw deer in the backyard! The location was quiet yet close to charming downtown areas with craft coffee shops, grocery stores, and boutique shops. The property matched the listing perfectly, and everything felt just as described. The host was fantastic—responsive, accommodating, and quick to address a couple of small issues while offering great local recommendations. The bed, couch, and desk chair were all super comfortable, making it easy to settle in and enjoy my stay. I’d definitely book this place again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and cozy getaway.

Linda's place is exactly as described. Photos were identical to what you got in real life. Quiet area, 12 minute drive to Calicoon and Bethel Woods, about 20 to Narrowsburg where there are lots of cute shops and restaurants. The sunroom had a beautiful view of the fall foliage. We loved coming back at night and starting a fire to get cozy (much needed since the room was a bit chilly). Linda was very communicative and helpful throughout our stay.

Delanie took the most wonderful care of us. The barn was beautiful and better inside than expected. Delanie breakfast was delicious and the berries were to die for. It felt like staying at your mamas house.

The Inn rooms are clean and spacious with well-appointed bathrooms. The grounds are pretty and relaxing, and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. A great place to stay for Bethel Woods concerts, as it's roughly 20 minutes away. We missed the fire pit because we were at a concert but would love to join next time. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We give this 5 stars across the board!

The Shire was absolutely darling! I really appreciated the thought, artistic energy, and creative touches that went into the property. The property manager was very prompt and responsive when we reached out, and their efforts were genuine. The owner was professional in all matters and fair in their approach. Overall, the property had a lot of charm, and the team was dedicated to ensuring everything was taken care of.

Beautiful location! We had a fantastic stay at this home! The entire house was immaculately clean, and we loved the thoughtful touches like the extra chargers, basic toiletries, well stocked kitchen and the all around comfortable beds. They were also VERY responsive and helpful, providing us with any information we needed throughout the day. The location was perfect & we enjoyed taking relaxing hikes in the back yard right off the porch. There is a small convenience store at the end of our neighborhood & a grocery store just 15 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again & plan to!

Linda’s kind and patient energy makes everyone who stays here feel at home. The creative energy in her house is everywhere you turn. I’ve come back here because it is a home away from home, and Linda has truly become family to me

Absolutely wonderful! Beautiful, peaceful, spacious, and comfortable. My kids loved visiting the alpacas every day right outside. It was the perfect place to go for quiet quality time together as a family reading books, playing board games and admiring the baby alpacas. Kara and everyone we met on the farm or at the quaint store were all just lovely. We also had fun snow tubing a short drive away (Kara's recommendation) and enjoyed some great meals out. Highly recommend this stay!!

Spent an amazing weekend in Diana's accommodation! We already thought of rebooking this place in the future if the opportunity arises. It was such a lovely home and the room we booked had a perfect view of the backyard especially at this foliage season. Everything was clean and she had supplies ready just in case we needed to use it for cleaning/bathroom/etc. Definitely recommend her place.

Five stars all around. The place was great, exactly as advertised, and very cozy for a winter getaway. We love the fireplace and we really loved THE STOVE!! Plan on broiling something just to use the broiler. It's so cool. Thank you Nynene for being a responsive host. You made our Christmas vacation lovely.
