We had a great time, nice tucked away cabin, hot tub was fantastic, and the space is super cute. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

The location is magical . Loved waking up and seeing the scenery. The trail was really well maintained given all the snow. We've had a wonderful hike to the pond seeing only nature, not one person on the trail. It was fun stopping and trying to identify all kinds of animal tracks along the path. We are thinking of coming back in the spring or summer. Thank you for muffins Toby and Peter!!!

We had an amazing stay at this place. Felt like home from home. Got to spend quality time with family in the area. The weather wasn’t great but it’s Maine in Winter. Shelby was great about sending someone out to plow & sand the road to the property whilst we were there. We would definitely stay here again!

(This review is very late so sorry) our stay was absolutely beautiful at Marty’s cabin. We loved the peaceful private surroundings.. literally not one other house around. The cabin itself was very modern and clean inside. The bed has very soft with plush blankets for a cozy sleep. The kitchen was gorgeous. The first night we arrived we jumped right in the hot tub which to our surprise was pretty luke warm. The extremely nice host Marty told me the previous guests left the cover off so it needed a bit longer to warm up and she was definitely right cause the very next night we jumped in and it was heaven! We had a little snag with the door code at one point but again Marty was amazing and her son helped us while we stayed warm in the neighbor cabin. She even gave us delicious home made chili for our mild inconvenience. We really appreciate how over the top Mary went for us and would absolutely come again if we get the opportunity! Thank you again Marty!

Beautiful getaway this winter. I imagine it would be just as beautiful without all of the snow. Cozy and quiet week on the lake. Everything you need is close including breweries, antique shops and restaurants. A magical relaxing winter getaway.

Fantastic stop on our way up to Acadia. Only wish we had booked for two nights instead of one! the wood stove was super efficient on a very chilly October night. Close to the Pour Farm and Odd Alewives breweries, which were awesome. And very quick drive to Camden for food options and excellent ocean/mountain hikes. Very clean and cozy Maine camp. We hope to be back!

What a delightful experience! This is a charming, peaceful place with everything you need to relax and enjoy your surroundings. A true get away!

The cabin was wonderful, peaceful, and all around cozy and beautiful. The hot tub was so relaxing even in the freezing temperature! Char was so kind and helpful and very responsive with any questions. Would love to stay here again during the summer! Not far from Acaidia National Park and a few feet from Lamoine National Park. If you want private & peaceful this is your place!

We had a wonderful visit at Caitlin’s cozy cabin! Loved watching the sunrise in the morning from the front porch and winding down with a glass of wine in the evening outside. Caitlin and Jackie were both very responsive and great hosts - will be staying here again!

Great stay; were very accommodating about our repeated, rather last-minute extensions of our stay. All I would say is that if you’re visiting in winter , you’ll definitely need 4 wheel drive to get to the house! But other than that, it was perfect for our needs and we really appreciated how accommodating Hui, Roger, and Cindy were of our changing plans. Very well stocked with cleaning supplies and kitchen things as well. Tub was really nice for my little one and we enjoyed the wood stove. Also very clear instructions and ultra quick response times. Very private. I’m sure in warmer months the fire pit outside area are really nice; as wintertime guests, once we got the car in, we appreciated being able to park so close and the absence of stairs or steps to navigate and the covered porch in front of the entry for loading and unloading.

The airbnb is indeed cozy, but just as described. As others detail, it's a great pit stop to get some rest and fuel before heading back to the trail. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The shower was quite small and the bedroom can be tight if sharing beds. No AC, but the unit does have some efficient heating units in each room. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this camp.

This cabin was a wonderful place to spend the week, and I couldn’t be more happy. The hosts were communicative and friendly; offering great local recommendations. My girlfriend and I would be more than happy to stay here again!

Diana's place was the perfect base camp for my family's winter adventure in Acadia. The space was immaculate, charming, and comfortable. The location is peaceful while still being very convenient to Bar Harbor and all areas of Acadia - especially cross-country ski trails. Diana was really communicative and helpful. We definitely hope to return!

This was the exact place we were looking for. Peaceful, rustic but with all the modern amenities, and a fire place that tops it off. Definitely recommend staying here if you are looking to leave the world behind a few days.

Cara and David had an absolutely amazing space. Cara, whom I was in contact with directly was so hospitable. The place was perfect for a couple days away, close to Acadia and the cute shops and restaurants in Bar Harbor, and definitely a weather friendly spot. Big thank you for having us, we will definitely be back in the future!

Kimberly is a wonderful host! She made sure to check in with us and see that everything was fine, and informed us well about how to get to the home as well as all the amenities available to us and other things to watch out for (such as being off the grid, etc.). I would definitely come back again!

Couldn’t be happier with our stay! Michelle was a great host and the property was everything we wanted and more. We honestly found ourselves spending more time just enjoying the property and the surroundings then some of our planned activities. It was truly hard to leave and we would come back and stay in a heart beat!

The cabin was as advertised, location and accommodations. Nice and peaceful, isolated and dark at night. Bring your head lamps and flashlights and enjoy a great night’s sleep and rustic lounging around accommodations.

Masha's oasis cabin was just what we needed this weekend. It was so peaceful and private. No lights- just stars, no wifi- just connecting with each other. Masha was such a thoughtful host as well and made sure to check in with us to make sure we didn't need anything else. The cabin is also about an hour and a half from Acadia which makes for the perfect day trip!

If you're looking for a peaceful, remote getaway, this is the place for you. Everything about the cabin is quaint and comfortable. From the comfortable furniture and screened in porch to the beautiful private beach, everything about the cabin exudes relaxation. We were extremely appreciative of the informative binder full of brochures and menus highlighting things to do on the island. "The Island Agency" coffee blend that was provided was delicious and inviting. Plenty of dishes and cookware were provided making it easy and appealing to stay home and eat in. I would 100% stay here again.

The beds and furnishings are super comfortable. The cabin is adorable and surprisingly spacious. They’ve intuitively provided lots of extras to enhance the quality of your experience. I would also like to point out that Kevin’s response time is consistently just a few minutes. I unfortunately broke a glass during my stay and couldn’t find a replacement and Kevin graciously took care of it. I needed to extend my stay unexpectedly and Kevin took care of that too, even though he had the days booked for maintenance. I can’t think of anything more Kevin could have done to improve my stay! He really is a fabulous host!

We had a very restful three days at Rod’s lovely cabin. This is a fantastic place to stay for those seeking to experience the midcoast area for what it is (without all the tourist traps and hustle and bustle that you’ll find in Bar Harbor area). Don’t sleep on this gem!
