We had an AMAZING time at Kathleen’s cottage by the lake during part of our Christmas 🎄 2024 vacation. The cottage is very modern and is beautiful both inside and out. The surrounding area felt very peaceful and even though you are surrounded by other cottages nearby…we felt a sense of peace and solitude. The cottage was clean and decluttered and we truly felt at home during our stay. Our host, Kathleen, was extremely helpful and very attentive and when we indicated an issue with the dishwasher…she was apologetic and issued us a partial refund for our inconvenience. We highly recommended Kathleen’s cottage if you’re in the area and if you’re not in the area …it’s definitely worth the time and effort if you’re looking for peaceful getaway. 5+ Stars!

We chose this Airbnb for our anniversary weekend, and it was the perfect location in Rockwall. The house was incredibly welcoming and spacious, making our stay even more enjoyable. Any questions we had were easily answered with the helpful notes provided throughout the house. We made full use of the hot tub every day, and it was absolutely wonderful—no regrets there! While we would have loved to enjoy the pool, the weather was a bit too chilly, but of course, that's beyond anyone’s control. We would certainly stay here again and highly recommend it.

We love the house! Had everything we needed and more! Everything is organized and had everything we need so less stuff we needed to pack. We can’t wait to come back when it’s better weather (gotta love Texas weather changes in a heart beat ) but we love everything about it. Even the game room was perfect

We enjoyed our stay. Home was as described and host provided unexpected bonuses such as snack and seasonings. The outdoor area made the trip and the openness of the home made it amazing. Neighborhood was very quiet and Neighbors were friendly. We would definitely stay again!

Mr John was amazing. Upon arriving we ran into Mr John and it allowed us to meet and chit chat with him for a bit. The house was beautiful just as the photos. During our trip we happened to lock the doors while stepping out but forgot the keys in the house, Mr John responded very quickly and advised us he was away but he was prepared enough to find us a way to get in. The accommodations for the children with the swings and seesaw was a big plus. We will most definitely try to rent again on our nxt family trip.

We wanted a peaceful getaway from the city. This is it. The view of the lake is mesmerizing. Love the fishing dock The little ones loves the giant connect four game and the hot tub. The local towns were charming. Even their pool cleaners were helpful and full of recommendations. We are coming back in June !

This house was perfect for us! We were celebrating a birthday with friends and family and had about six kids total. When we arrived, not only was the house super clean, but Christie had supplied snacks and treats for our kids - including s’mores, chips, apple pouches and more. It was so thoughtful and sweet. She was extremely responsive and helpful. The bedrooms were great size and well furnished, but the true star is the amazing pool and backyard. Our kids loved playing in the pool, and we are walking away with some wonderful memories.

We booked the place to celebrate my birthday with my friends and loved ones. It was absolutely amazing! The house and views were beautiful! The abundant of amenities/activities this place has to offer is awesome! We were looking for a place that would accommodate me and my guests comfortably and the setup was perfect. The beds were extremely comfortable. We spent a lot of time outside hanging out on the heart by the firepit, the patio on the deck and in the hot tub. Everyone thought the place was spectacular and we all enjoyed ourselves! My birthday party was a mega success. The hosts were very informative and responsive. I'd definitely recommend to anyone and we will definitely be back!!!
