This place is located next to the owner’s own residence. The place just clicked the right boxes: clean and neat room, super spacious for our kid for cycling, close to the local eateries and attractions (Sg Lembing is a small town anyway). The host’s parents were very friendly and welcoming retirees; it’s not the kind of “business friendliness” that you would receive from usual hotel front desk, but more like a warm, caring and genuinely friendly that you could only find from Malaysia kampung. We were especially touched when the aunty offered my wife a soothing cream to ease her skin irritation so that she could sleep at night. Even the dogs were super friendly too! My son had a lot of fun playing with the dogs, chasing them down with the bicycle. They were super helpful too: provided us local dining and rainbow waterfall tour tips, and even let us use their washing machine. It has to be one of the most wonderful stay that we have had. I definitely miss them. This is a place that you must seriously considering if you were in Sg Lembing for a short stay.

We LOVED our stay at the Nipah Chalet! It exceeded our expectations by far. Abbas and his worker Nazirul were the most friendly and welcoming persons we’ve probably met abroad. We did so many cool acitivities (snorkeling, trekking, fishing) with them. We also loved our little cozy hut right on the beachfront. We can do nothing but recommend this chalet to everyone traveling to Tioman because it’s the perfect mix of kindness, coziness, adventure and island experience. Enjoy!! :)

This little house just on the coast line is a paradise! We were almost all the time alone on the beach. It's so peaceful! Water tap in front of the house, hammock, table closer to the beach - all these makes the stay comfortable and it is clear that the space is very well planned. The electric water heater worked well.

We really enjoyed our stay at Coral Reef. It's close to the main jetty of the island (just follow the road until you see a big sign). Breakfast varies, is good and plenty (buffet if many people, a la carte on the other days, sometimes daily specials as well). You can grab lunch here as well, but it's also close to other restaurants in town. Communication was always easy, we got many tips for activities around the island and help with anything we needed. They also offer laundry and some rental services. Cleanliness was overall good, though the sink was dirty and the outside rubbish was forgotten. Though nothing that impacted our stay much. We would definitely recommend a stay at "Coral Reef" (make sure you go snorkeling above the coral reef in front of the hotel)!

We were given an early check-in time which was great! Everything was neat and clean except maybe there were some tissues and rubbish that was overlooked in the garden. There was 1 room on the ground floor with an ensuite toilet and there were 3 shared toilets and 3 separate shower rooms plus a shower room cum toilet on the 1st floor too. Plenty of bunkbeds in the rooms upstairs but the spacious attic was bare - definitely plenty of room to spread your toto around! No AC sadly but on the night we were there it was cool so no complaints about that! No WiFi - we just connected the tv to our game console. Beach was not so clean -I recommend wearing beach shoes there. The sea is shallow and great for kids to play in though. Caution: careful of stingrays! Overall it is a very nice family gathering venue to relax and just chill and have conversations at night with the brightly lit tankers on the horizon and the bbq smoke wafting while the kids play badminton. I do recommend it.

Brilliant stay. Location was stunning, right on the beach. People that worked there were friendly and helpful. Live music some evenings and even fireworks one night. Also held a traditional Malaysian feast for dinner (for free!) to welcome the guests. One negative - sink leaked when using but bathroom was a wet room. Overall highly recommend
