Fantastic home, very comfortable, proximity to beach was great.Went to several parks close by that were clean and scenic.Pool was great to cool you off on a hot day.Lots of neat species in the canal.Had a visit from a Manatee right next to the boat area for a few days,which was a amazing experience.

We had a wonderful week. House was beautiful and pool was so relaxing. Loved the location. Ever was friendly and responsive for all questions we had. We would love to go back. 😊

Had a great stay and we were very comfortable. Pros - Location is perfect, located steps off Duval on a quite dead end street. We were on the quieter end of Duval but could easily walk to the action in 15-20 minutes. The rooms were all bigger than they looked in the pictures and the patio and pool were much enjoyed. Appreciated being able to store our luggage before and after check in/out. Cons - Cooking utensils were limited and the pan I used to cook bacon was warped. Couldn't find a hot pad. Note - There was plenty of hot water but it takes a while to show up in the shower. The 3rd bathroom was in the laundry room and there wasn't a sink. It was still very useful to have the option of the toilet and shower.

House was clean, spacious, and as pictured. While it is near the Home Depot, there is plenty of foliage that is if completely obscured. The street was very peaceful and quiet. Lovely water views! Lots of Ubers available that arrived quickly - nothing in the island is more than 15 mins away!

We really enjoyed our stay at La Casa Azul. Key Colony beach is quiet and has lots to do. Being on the channel was fun, sitting in the pool and watching neighbors fish or the boats strolling by. The house was perfect and spacious for two and would be equally roomy for 4 (but we left the kids at home!) The host was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay and made us feel right at home. Thanks Janine!

We had six adults in our group and the house was a perfect location to go out fishing or to the beach. The house was well stocked and with plenty of linens and beach towels. We rented a boat for three days from Tropical boat rentals and the canal location made fishing super easy. Access to the ocean or the bay was convenient. We even caught several fish in the canal. We saw manatees, sharks, manna rays and tons of fish while enjoying the swimming pool. We can’t wait to make a return trip.

This home was absolutely beautiful!! It was exactly what we had hoped for, We were a family of 4 with my husband and I, with are two sons, ages 17 & 20, plus ones girlfriend age 16. We wanted a nice family vacation without the spring break chaos & this was it! This home was so clean yet cozy, had all the necessities we needed, everyone had their own room and bathroom which was super!!! This home could definitely accomodate so many more if you wanted to do so. We were the only ones there at the time, so we had the pool area to ourselves which we loved sooooo much! We played bags by the pool daily, swam during day & at night. The home had a great deck with a wonderful grill, we made slushy drinks with the ninja blender, anything you wanted this place had! We traveled to Key West a couple times which was nice and close, about a 30 minute drive. All in all this place is top notch! Don't hesitate to book! It's worth it!! LOVED this Home!! & Nate was a spectacular host!!!

Very nice place with excellent amenities. The heated pool was awesome! Worked out great for our family. The only minor issue was the noise from the nearby airport was loud at times and there were frequent construction trucks driving by. We live in rural area with no noise, so we were probably more sensitive to it, but we did get used to it and it wasn't a major problem. We would definitely stay here again.

Roberto is by far the most thorough and conscientious host. We were so pleased with our accommodations and immediately felt at home. The use of The Cabana Club was a real bonus on the hottest days. Will most certainly return to Marathon!

Laura’s place was absolutely beautiful! It was better than pictured. Laura was always quick to respond. The kayaks and fishing poles were a great addition. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone staying in the Key West/Marathon area.

We agree with all the other 5-star reviews. We had an awesome stay at the Yellowtail Retreat. Carlos was an awesome host and communication was exceptional. The house was one of the cleanest we’ve stayed at and had absolutely no issues. The beds were very comfortable, unlike many other rentals. Few houses on the canals have pools and even less have heated ones – this was a big bonus. Open water in Florida Bay is about a 2-minute boat ride and the industrial ice machine came in very handy. We didn’t use the detached Mother-in-Law room, but would be perfect for a couple or kids to have some privacy. Plenty of parking, TV’s all worked without issues and well-equipped kitchen. This was easily one of the best vacation rentals we’ve stayed at and would stay here again without hesitation if we visit Marathon again. Thanks Carlos!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Airbnb in the Keys! The home was stunning, with all the amenities you could ask for, including a relaxing hot tub. The fishing right on the property made it even better – perfect for enjoying the local marine life. The host was incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful and fun escape!

As others have noted, this cottage is comfortable and located walking distance to many of Key West's attractions. How nice that it offers the private patio off the kitchen (The occasional music and chatter from restaurant on other side of fence was not that loud.) and a nice little balcony off the bedroom upstairs. It was also nice that it has a half bath downstairs as well as a full bath upstairs. The air conditioners worked well to cool the place despite temperatures in the mid-80's. Mattress was hard but we slept fine each night. The small swimming pool that was part of the little enclave was appealing. Personally, I preferred that this location was closer to the quieter, more refined end of Duval than the super-touristy section. Very walkable to Hemingway House and the Butterfly Conservatory and various restaurants like Cafe Sole, Red Shoe Island Bistro, & Moondog Cafe. Beware, however if stairs are a challenge for you: The stairs between living level & bedroom are steep.

Stay was good…we were able to get to everything we wanted to do in 15-30 minutes; except the day we spent in key west. Place is close to beaches and lots of good restaurants. We had an almost 6 month old with us and the place allowed for her to have her own place to play and sleep which was important to us. We also saw manatees in the canal right in front of the house.

Looks just like the photo’s. Unfortunately weather was a little chilly the first couple of days. When it warmed up we enjoyed the local cabana club with the heated pool, beach and restaurants. The accommodations were spacious and clean.

This was a fantastic location with a great pizzeria nearby as well as a fabulous French pastry and coffee cafe. This location is very near to nearby downtown and residence was cozy and provided all the comforts. We highly recommend!

Good place to stay. Good space for the Keys. hot tub and everything was clean. My only complaints are the shower heads have no water pressure and the patio door is god awful. I would stay here again when visiting the Florida Keys Cecilia was a great host!

Gerardo’s home was perfect for a family gathering. It had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing week. His home is in a great location with so many things to do! Watching sunrises and sunsets from the house and getting visits from manatees are an added bonus! You will love this home!

We will be back! We loved it! Clean, comfortable with lots of room. We loved being able to keep our boat behind the house and the trailer in the driveway. We loved walking around Keys Colony. The Cabana Club and Sparkys Restaurant were both within walking distance. The kitchen had every gadget you could imagine. The dining table was perfect for dinners and card playing. The beds were comfy. No allergies whatsoever! Thank you so much!!

The host was very responsive, always quick to reply and answer any questions we had. The location is fantastic—great if you're looking for a quiet area while still being close to all the Keys has to offer. I also appreciated the flexibility with check-in times, which made our stay much more convenient. The waterfront setting and great pool were highlights. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a smooth, hassle-free experience in a beautiful location. Highly recommend!!

Stunning location, very comfortable with plenty of space for 10 people. When we arrived we never felt like leaving. Beautiful pool and hot tub surrounded by palm trees, sandy area with great fire pit, gorgeous outdoor eating area and kayaks to drop from pier. Very private location with spectacular sunsets! Fabulous!!!!
