This was our First time using Airbnb - and a big thank you to Joanna and Scotty for providing the honey dew lake house as an Airbnb. Joanna’s honey dew lake house was perfect for us. We enjoyed the peacefulness,sitting on the dock soaking up the sun and warm air,since it was freezing back home up north. We felt right at home! We had a wonderful stay at Laurie's place! Prior to check in, Laurie sent information about the area, and also shared details about the house and where to find what we needed for our stay. So helpful. The kitchen was stocked with all the basics - and then some. The beds were comfortable - and with crisp cool sheets. I don't know what we enjoyed more - listening to the birds while enjoying our morning coffee on the screened lanai, sitting on the peaceful dock, or perhaps it was kayaking the pretty channel? Hmm, hard to pick. Either way, we would not hesitate to stay at the Waterfront Hideaway again! It was cozy, clean, comfortable and quiet. Thank you Laurie!

Felt right at home. Glad we chose to book here. The backyard is GREAT for fishing and water activities.

What a fun and flexible space. The four separate bedrooms made it so we could comfortably get together with relatives and have fun together in common spaces and then also have privacy while sleeping

We loved this place and wished we could have spent more time there. It was a last minute booking and Kimberly answered the request right away. Beautiful property, out in the country but borders a preserve. Close enough to several small towns with great shopping and restaurants. Back porch is a great set up for cooking out, watching sports and hanging by a fire. Plenty of room for kids to play outside, fenced in and safe. We will absolutely go back and spend more time in the area.

This is our second time staying at one of Elizabeth's rentals, and once again, she was an excellent host and a great communicator. The house had everything we needed, and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful.

Could not be more satisfied with our stay at this property. Wonderful location with access to dining and entertainment. Beautiful home with all the comforts required for a pleasant stay away from home. Great neighborhood with friendly folks and having access to a golf cart made traveling easy and fun.

Don was so generous and accommodating! He graciously offered us early check in and it was wonderful to get that extra time at this adorable home! Smelled great and was nice and cool upon arrival. A/C worked great and nice ceiling fans in LR, Bdrm and back screened porch. Everything you could need as far as condiments and spices, plates, cups, etc. Well stocked bathroom as well. We especially loved the dock out back for fishing and just relaxing. Saw 1 small gator in the water and lots of different birds. Canal behind house is nice and wide and clean. The cypress trees surrounding are beautiful and lots of squirrels frolicking in them. Also saw a cute pair of armadillo wandering the yard after dark. Neighborhood is super quiet. We felt very safe here. Great street to walk the dog on. little to no traffic. Never saw another person the whole time we were there! Inverness/Floral City are nearby for stores or restaurants. we would not hesitate to recommend. Thanks again, Don!

Incredible location on the water. From inside the home, every view to the outdoors is lovely. The nights brought us a lovely symphony from the bullfrogs, birds and other creatures. We were there 3 weeks and didn’t want to leave. Our only negative comment is the home could use a deep cleaning inside and a little tlc outdoors ie) a new grill and fireplace. Both were falling apart.

After staying last year, we were happy to stay again this year. Great location and great hostess. Peaceful, beautiful property and our dog thoroughly enjoyed the space. We also enjoyed Weslie’s dogs, Baby and Zoey - they were so friendly. Will definitely return.

Our 2nd one month stay at this lovely cottage. It's an excellent location on a channel to access Lake Henderson. Perfect for bass fishing. The home is clean and comfortable. It's spacious and was perfect for 2 couples. The kitchen is organized and well stocked . We enjoyed the patio, particularly the newly installed gazebo which provided shade during sunny days. The view from the patio is relaxing and perfect for sunrises. Home is located in a very quiet neighborhood. It's an easy 3 mile ride down 44 sidewalk to get to the Withlachoochee Bike Trail. Spent many hours fishing. Every Monday we'd make the the 45 minute drive to the Webster Flea Market (excellent stop for produce) then stop for lunch at Big Bass Grill on Lake Panasoffkee. Easy drive to Winn Dixie. Would absoulutely stay again,

Our 30 day stay at Susan and John’s Dead Boat Cove was absolutely perfect! The split property provided the ideal balance of privacy and comfort, and we couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful stay. We spent so much time kayaking, enjoying the screened-in porch and lots of dock time—all were perfect for relaxing and watching the wildlife. Susan and John were fantastic hosts, incredibly knowledgeable about the area, and every recommendation they gave us was spot on. We truly can’t wait to return for another stay. Highly recommend!
