Super private accommodation. A great view from an ocean. Very private ocean as well. Such bliss peaceful place to enjoy as a group of friends or family. Loved everything about it. Will definitely come back without thinking twice. However not so easy to get Uber/Bolt services. As it is far away from lot of things. Better if you driving or organise with someone with assistance with transport.Otherwise the best place and lovely welcoming host 💯🙌🏻🔥🤌🏾🤗

The place felt like a clip on Top Billing. A 3 storey marvel offering underground and 3rd floor en-suite bedroom. The private pool was a cherry on top. We had a great time, walking distance to shopping complex and club for entertainment. I will definitely be booking it again in the future.

Simply lovely stay, right on the beach. Peaceful and quiet surroundings, so we were really able to relax. We felt safe and secure. Lovely to sit on the deck, seeing the sun go down over the sea. It is a pity we could only stay 2 nights, we are planning to come back for a longer stay. Highly recommended!

Graeme was so friendly and helpful. The house was spotless!!Lots of parking,perfect size pool,great entertainment area,comfortable couches,beautiful bathroom and all the rooms have aircons!!!!The ice machine and fridge in the braai room made pouring drinks so simple... I cant wait to visit again!!!Thanks Graeme...!!!

The house is not only stunning but also family-friendly, with an amazing view that made our stay even more special. Pat was extremely attentive to our needs. If you're into a Bohemian-styled get away, then you'll fit right in. The house is designed with an industrial feel, yet is flooded by nature and all the greenery. We took our Scotty with us and he soon made friends with Freya, Pat's dog. Lot's of secured room to roam for pets. The open plan design of the house gives loads of light and warmth... in our case the weather was just too hot and humid. Even with the extra fans we took, it was quite uncomfortable... I suggested to Pat to invest in a air-conditioner, it would make the stay a lot more bearable considering the climate we're facing. Overall it was a stunning place to stay at and one of the better accommodation spots we encountered on our 4000km trip. Well done Pat 👏 and thanks for having us. Till next time.

Wir haben eine Nacht in der sehr gut ausgestatteten Wohnung von Dael verbracht. Die Wohnung bietet allen Komfort. Die Lage in einem guten Wohngebiet mit Privatgarage ist empfehlenswert. Die sehr sympathische Gastgeberin hat sich extra Zeit für uns genommen und uns die Strandpromenade, sichere Parkmöglichkeit und Restaurants gezeigt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Unterkunft was super. Bis auf wenige Kleinigkeiten war die Unterkunft genau wie wir sie erhofft hatten. Das Personal mit Matthew war sehr herzlich und sehr hilfsbereit und machte unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich. Vielen Dank für alles.

I stayed here for three nights to be closer to my CrossFit competition at the boardwalk. Absolutely great decision. Wonderful space, amazing pool, spacious park right next door and a good 5 minute walk away from the boardwalk mall or the beach. Octavia communicated so well before and during my stay. The garden is beautiful, the bed is soo comfortable and the shower pressure is on point. Would’ve appreciated some DSTV to watch the RWC but that was no train smash at all. Will definitely be back for a weekend away.

We had a great stay! The property is very close to Addo Elephant Park and has lots of other activities to keep busy with. Beautiful setting and plenty of wildlife around!

We so enjoyed our stay at Angie's Aloe Cottage. Everything we needed, and more, was all there. Angie was always available with any info or suggestions, but at the same time she also respected our privacy. As we had flown in from Cape Town, we only had hand luggage, so all the extras Angie provided was so appreciated.

Wow I have had a number of hosts over the years but Nicolette stands out for her absolute care towards me and my family. I am so grateful for the manner in which she went out of her way for their comfort (as I couldn't be there). It was one night but ALL the help with check in, check out and during the stay really meant a lot to me and to my family. My gran asked me if she could stay at Nicolette's everytime we come to Makhanda because of her hospitality and UBUNTU. Thank you Nicolette, we are beyond grateful.
