Great place very peaceful not too far from the centre

What a lovely place to stay. Warm, friendly and welcoming, Anna made me feel almost part of the family. Generous with her space, very comfy bed, home made muffins on offer when I arrived and the perfect location for visiting family (and very close to Metro too). Would def come back and stay again

Kaths room made two days on the road much easier with a good night's sleep. Lovely spot for the money, with some snacks laid on. Lovely!

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was great and exactly what we needed, our host was incredibly helpful and responsive to any questions we had.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were bowled over how beautiful and roomy the house is. Instructions and directions were excellent. The whole house is lovely and the bathroom is great, with a large bath which is fab as we only have a shower at home. The croissants were a really nice little extra, great for breakfast. The location is good too, easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants. We liked being able to put the car in a garage. Overall a really pleasant, comfortable stay.

Great price for the location

Wow, what a great studio. The ensuite bedroom is fantastic and the bath is so luxurious. The kitchen has everything you need and the lounge is lovely and relaxing. Just a short stroll and you are in the centre of Hexham for bars, cafes and restaurants. It's also a great base for exploring g the wider Northumberland countryside. We will definitely be looking to return again soon. Thanks for hosting us.

I booked as a treat for my mum and myself as a Mother’s Day surprise! The process of booking, the venue and hosting couldn’t have been any better - just brilliant! Stunning rooms and decor, gorgeous location, the views and walk around the area were a dream. Zoe was so welcoming and we really felt we could relax and enjoy. Highly recommend! Fantastic location near lots to do! Literally across the street from tonnes of restaurants, down the street from the park, amusements and sea front as well as town centre. Easy to walk to public transport as well. VERY spacious accommodation with ample space in the shared areas, including kitchen and sitting room. Easy to find and free parking as well! Great location for a holiday and small or large group alike!

Always nice to stay here. With family in the area, an ideal quiet place. Not far from the town and beach - all walkable.

If you are looking for a good standard of comfortable and cosy no frills accommodation in a location with plenty of cafés and restaurants and good transport to and from the city, I would definitely recommend Christopher’s place.

Nic and Julie’s place was very homely, very tidy and everything, the kitchen, the bedrooms, was of a high quality. Julie was a very friendly and responsive host, who went above and beyond to accommodate us and help us out with anything we needed. Would’ve given 6 stars if I could have.

Stayed here for a friend’s wedding at a local venue, was 10 mins away and easy enough to book a cab to get there. Very clean, friendly staff (lad on his first day did a great job) and in one of the most beautiful areas of the U.K. I’ve ever visited. Portable heater in the room was very very useful as well and easy enough to figure out. Staff even returned an item I left in the room after checking out before I left, which I was really grateful for.

I had the most wonderful experience staying here. Rosie was very welcoming and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The cottage is beautiful and really cozy. The upstairs was spacious and the bed was perfect for a good night's sleep. Rosie was kind enough to take the time to walk with me to the River Derwent. It was such a beautiful stroll and a lovely way to see the area through a local’s eyes. She also gave great tips on nearby places to explore and walk around. In the evening, they even offered me pizza and chips, which was so thoughtful and kind. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. I had a fresh fruit salad followed by a lovely hot breakfast. Rosie also shared a homemade jam, which made it feel all the more special. I couldn't recommend Rosie's place enough. Thank you, Rosie and Paul, for the warm hospitality!

Gary was very welcoming. First impressions were great. Got the balance right between being responsive and leaving guests in peace too. Look forward to staying again.

Heather is a wonderful host and the Coach House is exactly as described. The information provided by Heather is really helpful and Heather responds to queries very quickly. The Coach House is spotlessly clean and has everything you need although the provision of a TV would be a bonus. However, WiFi is available and guests are offered the opportunity to watch TV to on their own devices. The location is excellent with lovely views from the Coach House windows. I would highly recommend the Coach House and I plan to return soon.

Our stay at Dominic and Elaine's home was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by the kindest and friendliest hosts we’ve ever met. They truly went above and beyond with personal touches that made us feel right at home. Their attention to detail and thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed! The house itself is absolutely stunning—every corner beautifully designed and immaculately kept. We were constantly in awe of the space and comfort. But what truly made our stay memorable was the incredible breakfast they prepared. It was not only delicious but felt like it was made with such care and love. If you’re looking for a stay that feels both luxurious and warm, we cannot recommend Dominic and Elaine's place enough. We left feeling like we had made new friends, and we’ll definitely be back! Gorgeous house and a lovely couple! Tania’s place was beautifully decorated, very clean, and incredibly comfortable. Communication was great throughout, and the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again!
