Lovely house, very comfortable, warm and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed for our stay. In a great location only 10 minutes away from Durham and easy to find. The rooms were all spacious, the bathroom was lovely and the free standing bath was a bonus, I had a very enjoyable soak. Tom left very generous welcome gifts. We would definitely stay there again. Great spot! The location could not have been more perfect for walking to family members in the area and shopping. House was ideal for our family of 4. The Christmas decorations made us feel right at home as we were so far away from Arizona. House was very clean as well. Thank you for being so responsive.

Absolutely outstanding accommodation that was immaculate. Beds were super comfy, a real home away from home. Joanne was very friendly and had great communication. Asda is in within waking distance and lots to do locally. You will not be disappointed with this accommodation :)

A few minutes walk away from the train station which was ideal. Plenty of parking too. The house itself is very spacious and welcoming, nice touch with the box of games - my son and I played quite a few during our stay. Would return.

Sandra is a one of a kind host ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ We had a medical emergency and not only was she super responsive on any messages before and during our stay. She offered above and beyond. Onto the accommodation, it is spotless, the beds are SO comfy, the house is quiet and spacious. A great venue and the Italian restaurant down the road is a family run beauty… get yourself there 🇮🇹 Could not recommend a stay here more. Thank you Sandra for making a stressful stay so much more manageable!

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was great and exactly what we needed, our host was incredibly helpful and responsive to any questions we had.

We loved our stay here. It was perfect and felt so homely and welcoming. We needed to be near Durham but its all about the doggos so needed somewhere with a decent garden and nearby walks which it so was. There are walks almost on the doorstep. Would definitely return.

Lovely caravan - easy check-in with lockbox, and parking space next to caravan. Lots of extra thoughtful touches inside that made it feel very home-from-home (board games, DVDs, even a jar of biscuits!), extra blankets, lovingly decorated, and the essentials were there too so we could get comfortable straight away (I’ve stayed in some places where there wasn’t even one toilet roll, hand soap, or washing up liquid!) The location was nice, The view out of the lounge window of the sea was lovely, and it’s a short walk to the beach. The site shop etc obviously wasn’t open as it’s out of season, but local shops are a short drive away. Two toilets is a lifesaver with children. The two doors into the main bathroom from the hall and the master bedroom gave us a giggle as I thought it was a cupboard - remember to lock both doors if using the main toilet haha! But space-wise, it is a clever idea. Midday checkout was really useful too, less rush! Would definitely stay again, thanks for having us!

Caravan was immaculate and very homely loved the added touches. The Seaview was a bonus as the children loved it. Our family enjoyed our Christmas in the caravan was a lovely experience. Would definately recommend to others. Great host 5*.

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

We had a relaxing stay at Pebbles. Situated in a very picturesque park overlooking the sea and the wind turbines which I felt were quite mesmerising! The park itself has everything you need from entertainment, pool and restaurants. The beach was fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed the rock pools and scenery. Lots to do in the area especially if you like castles and history. We would recommend a stay at Pebbles.

We booked for only 2 nights with not much notice. Great set up for the 3 of us. Could have spent longer there. Not easy to find initially but Jamie responded with remarkable swiftness! Appreciated the flexibility on check out as well. All good.

Lovely stay in Whitley Bay at Claire’s caravan. On the edge of the park closest to the sea so great views of the coast and lighthouse. We were lucky with the sunsets - they were beautiful! Recommended!

We could not have wished for a better host/stay in Whitley Bay- Sarah as well as her place was just fantastic and exceeded all expectations. Check in was super easy and Sarah's communication was incredible. Sarah went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and having a great stay. The caravan was just as described/ pictured, it was clean and very comfortable. I would certainly recommend and we will definitely be back to stay again. Thanks so much Sarah!!!

Great place to stay, was with all the kids and enjoyed our time here. We used as a base to go see the Northumberland castle’s and walks. Fantastic sunrise and unbelievable views from chalet. Recommend to anyone visiting this area

We really enjoyed our stay at Close Quarters! It was perfectly located for us to easily visit Cragside, Newcastle, Alnmouth and even have a lovely meal out in Morpeth. I highly recommend this property!

The cottage was perfect. The kitchen had everything you need, lovely cooking wear and home from home utensils. The log fire (courtesy logs) was beautiful. Really cosy and the bed was extremely comfortable with plush bedding. I have read other reviews and I can honestly say the location was extremely quiet. Yes it’s on a residential street but it was peaceful and both my friend and myself could park our cars right outside. My 6 month old puppy loved it and was well behaved given her new surroundings. Thank you Doreen for your recommendations of dog friendly pubs and excellent communication.

This is a quaint little place perfect for 2 with all you would need for a very comfortable stay. It is in an ideal spot in Stokesley with parking and all the restaurants/bars/shops etc on your doorstep. So central but the cottage is so quite on a night! I would definatly reccommend and hope to stay again!

Me and my partner absolutely loved staying here! The chapel though beautifully renovated has kept all its traditional charm. The hosts were super friendly and it’s the perfect historic base to explore the surrounding areas and Newcastle itself. We will definitely be coming back! ✨

We really enjoyed our stay in the pods and had such a relaxing time! They were super clean and beautiful inside with everything you could need in the kitchen and also had amazing views outside where our dog loved to look through the window. We especially loved how peaceful it was and the TV was an added bonus to relax at night. The location was great, it wasn’t far from Durham for a day trip and lots of local pubs/restaurants a ten minute drive away. Lucy was the perfect host and even let check in early/out late, her communication was top draw and she was super responsive but really appreciated how she left us to our own devices. Would love to stay in Summer and experience the outside a bit more, highly recommend 🙂 thanks again for an amazing stay!

This was a last minute booking to visit a sick family member. Kendra went above and beyond to help and made us feel welcome. The house is beautifully decorated and stylishly furnished. It is convenient for the town centre with lots of great restaurants and bars. There are nice parks nearby for walks with dogs or children. The little touches make such a difference too, such as essential breakfast items and cakes for a treat as well as a lovely selection of teas and coffee. I would highly recommend this house and Kendra is a superb host.

Four of us have just spent 3 nights in Peewit Cottage. From the moment we arrived, we all felt right at home, the place was spotless, beds very comfortable too! Everything you could possibly need for a self catering stay was provided. Having the private hot tub was fabulous, we loved it after full days of being tourists in the local area. On a separate note, we would highly recommend a visit to Beamish Museum which was about a 30 min drive, we also spent a day in Durham City & booked a 2.5 hr History/City Tour with walkaboutdurham - highly recommended. Tour Guide Peter is very knowledgeable & so passionate about his job plus he gives everyone a "free" cocktail voucher for Turtle Bay - well deserved after 2.5hrs walking around the City 🤣🤣
