Amazing oasis from the cold up north and from the bustle of town when you need a peaceful moment by the pool. The outdoor kitchen is incredible and the boat dockage is great.

Beautiful place with very private surroundings. The pool was perfect temperature as well as the hot tub. Loved the check in - I’ve never had a door lock with the code specific to me - what a great touch!! I texted Yellany several times and very responsive. For the price, here are a few things that could be improved: - we love to cook and although the kitchen was well stocked, the pots for boiling and cooking could be much imroved upon. - again, for the price, the mattresses could be better. They had the mattress toppers under the sheets instead of high end mattresses. - Finally, the upstairs living room furniture was very uncomfortable and not much seating. We loved the place and the host, and would love to return! Thank you.

We had a great time staying at this Airbnb. Location was perfect for what we wanted to do. The place was clean and check-out was easy. We appreciated that there was not a long list of check-out activities. Proximity to pool was perfect. Walking distance to several great places to eat.

We had a wonderful week. House was beautiful and pool was so relaxing. Loved the location. Ever was friendly and responsive for all questions we had. We would love to go back. 😊

Had a great stay and we were very comfortable. Pros - Location is perfect, located steps off Duval on a quite dead end street. We were on the quieter end of Duval but could easily walk to the action in 15-20 minutes. The rooms were all bigger than they looked in the pictures and the patio and pool were much enjoyed. Appreciated being able to store our luggage before and after check in/out. Cons - Cooking utensils were limited and the pan I used to cook bacon was warped. Couldn't find a hot pad. Note - There was plenty of hot water but it takes a while to show up in the shower. The 3rd bathroom was in the laundry room and there wasn't a sink. It was still very useful to have the option of the toilet and shower.

House was clean, spacious, and as pictured. While it is near the Home Depot, there is plenty of foliage that is if completely obscured. The street was very peaceful and quiet. Lovely water views! Lots of Ubers available that arrived quickly - nothing in the island is more than 15 mins away!

This home was absolutely beautiful!! It was exactly what we had hoped for, We were a family of 4 with my husband and I, with are two sons, ages 17 & 20, plus ones girlfriend age 16. We wanted a nice family vacation without the spring break chaos & this was it! This home was so clean yet cozy, had all the necessities we needed, everyone had their own room and bathroom which was super!!! This home could definitely accomodate so many more if you wanted to do so. We were the only ones there at the time, so we had the pool area to ourselves which we loved sooooo much! We played bags by the pool daily, swam during day & at night. The home had a great deck with a wonderful grill, we made slushy drinks with the ninja blender, anything you wanted this place had! We traveled to Key West a couple times which was nice and close, about a 30 minute drive. All in all this place is top notch! Don't hesitate to book! It's worth it!! LOVED this Home!! & Nate was a spectacular host!!!

Andy’s place was absolutely stunning and very comfortable. He was very responsive to our requests and questions and made our stay exceptional. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the pool and sitting on the deck where we watched the boats glide by. The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of space for us to store our groceries and other sundries. The bedrooms were quite comfortable and the bathrooms were modern and clean. We hope to return again next year.

We agree with all the other 5-star reviews. We had an awesome stay at the Yellowtail Retreat. Carlos was an awesome host and communication was exceptional. The house was one of the cleanest we’ve stayed at and had absolutely no issues. The beds were very comfortable, unlike many other rentals. Few houses on the canals have pools and even less have heated ones – this was a big bonus. Open water in Florida Bay is about a 2-minute boat ride and the industrial ice machine came in very handy. We didn’t use the detached Mother-in-Law room, but would be perfect for a couple or kids to have some privacy. Plenty of parking, TV’s all worked without issues and well-equipped kitchen. This was easily one of the best vacation rentals we’ve stayed at and would stay here again without hesitation if we visit Marathon again. Thanks Carlos!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Airbnb in the Keys! The home was stunning, with all the amenities you could ask for, including a relaxing hot tub. The fishing right on the property made it even better – perfect for enjoying the local marine life. The host was incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful and fun escape!

Karen‘s place was the perfect place for our family reunion. We enjoyed the use of a well stocked and large kitchen, three beautiful bedrooms, a lovely wraparound porch. We were able to explore Key West at sunset one evening, and take advantage of the lovely Sombrero Beach, which was a short car ride away. Karen is a thoughtful and responsive host. We definitely recommend this place!

As others have noted, this cottage is comfortable and located walking distance to many of Key West's attractions. How nice that it offers the private patio off the kitchen (The occasional music and chatter from restaurant on other side of fence was not that loud.) and a nice little balcony off the bedroom upstairs. It was also nice that it has a half bath downstairs as well as a full bath upstairs. The air conditioners worked well to cool the place despite temperatures in the mid-80's. Mattress was hard but we slept fine each night. The small swimming pool that was part of the little enclave was appealing. Personally, I preferred that this location was closer to the quieter, more refined end of Duval than the super-touristy section. Very walkable to Hemingway House and the Butterfly Conservatory and various restaurants like Cafe Sole, Red Shoe Island Bistro, & Moondog Cafe. Beware, however if stairs are a challenge for you: The stairs between living level & bedroom are steep.

Stay was good…we were able to get to everything we wanted to do in 15-30 minutes; except the day we spent in key west. Place is close to beaches and lots of good restaurants. We had an almost 6 month old with us and the place allowed for her to have her own place to play and sleep which was important to us. We also saw manatees in the canal right in front of the house.

Beautiful location and house, we really enjoyed our stay! We had a few questions for the host and they were immediately responsive. Would stay here again for my next visit to Marathon!

Wonderful stay for our family. Lots of space to spread out. All the bedrooms were comfortable and well appointed. The kids loved the pool and we all appreciated the big kitchen.

Great property all around!! The pool was big enough for 10 people without being crowned. We utilized the kayaks, paddle boards and hammocks multiple times. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything except a blender. We even could have baked cupcakes if we wanted!! We were able to catch enough fish to have a taco night for everyone, which was an extra bonus. It was 35-40 min. to Key West, which was far enough for peace and quiet, but not too far to enjoy the fun there. We were able to walk to Kiki’s down the street, which was also nice. I would definitely recommend and stay again!

What an amazing place. Spotless and very neat and clean when we walked in. There is everything you need and nothing you don't. Its got some age to it but it is very well taken care of. We were greeted with a great gift basket containing some surprises and even a bottle of wine! The pool is a bit on the small side but my two boys and I spent countless hours in that perfectly sized pool. Again, all you need and nothing more. We'd go across the street to the ocean, come back and rinse off with the conveniently placed wash area, then hop in the pool, then back to the ocean, then repeat. In the afternoon, the coconut trees provide some nice shade over the pool. Great place to sip a margarita. Kitchen is well stocked with pretty much anything you would need. Dishware, cups, mugs and cookware. Even a well stocked spice rack in the laundry room. Nice dual coffee maker that takes K-Cups or ground as I prefer. My second trip to Sombrero, first to this house, will not be the last.

The place was nice, but it is rather loud with the roof type when it rains. Master bedroom and bath have no vents from the central ac unit, door open is fine, but if you want privacy can get stuffy. but a nice place, close to key west

Our stay at 728 Passover Ln. was amazing. Cannot even explain how breathtaking the pool and sitting area is and the walking path🫶🏻the outdoor shower adds a great element house was plenty big was just two of us, but could’ve definitely handled four with no issues at all was well stocked, very clean.

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING !!! We cannot brag on this serene private property enough. It was its own tropical oasis. Rural in an area that is not so much. The pool, the beach, the pier, the views, the home and the coconut tree made for the most breathtaking week in the Keys. We will be back again to stay!

Just want to write an updated review since most of these are older. The previous reviews about the house AC being hot in the downstairs bedrooms has been fixed. The house has two brand new AC units. House was immaculate and in the perfect location with all the amenities you’d need. Only issue we ran into is the Wi-Fi does not work. They are actively working on it but the Sonos speakers did not work outside and the TVs were in and out. All in all this house had everything we needed and more

Wonderful and cost efficient. Well maintained. Easy access to the waterways with the dock for our rented boat. Amenities of kayaks and bikes were a plus. Beautiful outdoor setting. We will be booking again!

Our family had a great time. The pool was beautiful and very clean! The beach was a short walk from the house as well as the playground for our kids. We were very happy with our stay! Thank you for sharing your home with us!
