I had an amazing stay at Sandie’s place! The suite was spotless, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable weekend. The location was great for exploring the Sunshine Coast, and the guidebook was helpful for discovering local spots. I truly appreciated the warm hospitality, highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

The attention to detail made this interior space feel welcoming and inviting from the moment I arrived. I can't think of a thing that could have made it nicer. The views were everchanging with a variety of weather patterns during my stay. The ocean and sky were so interesting, even dramatic at times. From the windows I saw eagles, seals and the herring season that came and went, turning the water a tropical blue. So funny to see, when we know the ocean is freezing this time of year. Fishing boats were there a few days, taking their catch. Then walking in the neighbourhood, even the occasional deer to surprise you. So many paths to the beach to walk along the rocky shore when the tide is out. Daytrips are easy to go to everything, from this location. Just a short drive to the main highway and you can see so many interesting things available on central Vancouver Island. I imagine in the summer it would be even lovelier. The hosts were so friendly and helpful.

I thought the unit was lovely! It was spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated. Travis was so kind and understanding when I was having scheduling issues. He was very easy to communicate with. I had only been in the condo for a few hours and had already requested dates for my next visit. 10/10

My stay was absolutely perfect! The resort exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with a stunning view of the creek and ocean. The amenities were top-notch—there was a gorgeous pool, sauna and hot tub as well-equipped gym. I also loved the beach access and trail along the resort and creek. We missed the rock outdoor hot tub and spa :( but for sure will come back to complete the experience. We have an unforgettable experience and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway.

This place is a hidden gem. We loved all of the amenities (especially the outdoor hot tub). One of our favorite parts of our stay was speaking with all of the neighbours about where to go, where to eat, etc. One neighbour even showed us around the resort including the trail system behind. It was a beautiful place filled with lovely people.

Gail’s place is so cozy, spacious and beautiful! We can see she put a lot of attention into small details to make her guests comfortable. Her place is conveniently close to multiple beautiful trails, beaches and convenience stores are near as well. We loved our stay at Gail’s place and definitely recommend it!

Randy and Barb have created a slice of heaven at Haven by the Sea! Everything about this space is so beautiful and well thought of with the guest in mind. The decor and amenities create a cozy and welcoming home-away-from-home that makes it hard to leave! The bed is like a cloud with opulent linens and so comfy. The waterfront views are captivating and the resort has everything you need to relax and rewind…and have fun! Thank you for creating such a special place that we can’t wait to visit again! 🙏❤️

Absolutely beautiful home with trails and views that are 5 star. The gym facility was exactly what was needed. Went to the Rocking Horse Pub for dinner. It was amazing with great prices.

Kim's place was a delight to see the second we walked in the door! Spatious, clean and with an incredible view! We felt a sense of calm just to look out those windows! And the resort amenities were amazing too. We will certainly be back. Thanks again.

Stayed here with my family including two young kids and it was great. A short walk down to the water and had some games and things for the kids when it was raining. It was extremely clean and had the kitchen amenities so that you don't need to buy all the basics (olive oil etc). Appreciate the extra effort to make it feel homey and I'd definitely recommend the stay!

I recently stayed at Ashley's place, and it was an exceptional experience! The property was exactly as described (and even better in person). It was spotless, cozy, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail in the décor and amenities made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect, especially the view was amazing. I loved the closed huge backyard too because of my dog. Ashley was incredibly welcoming and providing clear communications. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. We definitely gonna stay at this place again. This time Summer.

A really beautiful home to stay in just a couple of minutes drive from the ferry. Gorgeous views through the trees to the water and the mountains. So peaceful. The house was spotless and very well equipped. Beds very comfortable. Very sociable living space set up. We loved it! I would highly recommend.

Great place. Clean and well kept. Everything was easy. The microwave was not working as the fuse had tripped.

This airbnb is beautiful. We were very sad to leave. We cooked, played games, went in the hot tub and relaxed. The beds were super comfortable. The house was so clean. We will definitely come back!

Had a great stay in Robert’s creek. Was a rainy weekend but the outdoor hot tub and cozy couch made it an amazing time. The loft with the skylight was also a highlight. The place felt like home and Jessica and a Paul were very responsive and nice :).

Beautiful location, fantastic views. So easy to walk out right to the beach. Great kitchen space- had all the supplies needed to cook for ourselves and we appreciated the stocked extras (oils , spices, coffee, etc). Looked exactly like the photos- it was a great space for a weekend away for our small family!

Beautiful spot to spend a few nights! Awesome facility, loved the outdoor hottub. The unit was very comfortable and nicely decorated. There seems to be no insulation between the suites, but fortunately the neighbors were all quiet while we were there

Kim hosted some of our family for our wedding at Pacific Shores. Everything went great, checkin was easy and Kim was super helpful, responsive and communicative about everything needed for the place. Lovely condo in a beautiful resort. 5 🌟 experience!

The apartment had everything we needed and we felt right at home. The kitchen was well equipped, everything was well labelled and Andrea even had “kid” dishes so it suited us perfectly. There is a dishwasher which was great:. The place was tidy and clean. We had meals outside and enjoyed the view from the patio. The kids enjoyed the small outdoor pool which was heated. There is access to a marina from the property but no beach. Andrea was very communicative and responsive. She answered questions about the unit when needed and was helpful to provide local recommendations for beaches and things to do. We arrived late at night in the pitch dark but Andrea’s instructions to find the unit were helpful and much needed as there were no signs indicating any unit numbers that we could see. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend Andrea’s apartment to anyone exploring Halfmoon Bay!

We stayed at Dawn's Nest Feb 17 to March 17 2025. The location in Nanoose Bay was ideal for us as we like to tour. We went south to Victoria, north to Comox, west to Port Alberni and Tofino. The view from the 4th floor was amazing especially at high tide when it came right up the creek by the building. Sheltered parking, elevator, sauna, two hot tubs, large pool, beautiful walking trails along the shore etc made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable. It was our first time renting on the island. We are sure we lucked out and got one of the best the first time. We would definitely stay here again. Thankyou Dawn and John for helping to make our holiday a great one holiday. Don and Peggy.

A well-equipped and spacious suite in a great location just a couple of minutes south of the Parksville strip. The whole resort appears to be kept in excellent condition. Beds are comfortable, and there's plenty of cosy furniture in the dining and living area. As always, I brought a few cooking utensils from home, things that are often not supplied at b&b's. Didn't need any of them; the kitchen is efficiently laid out and very nicely equipped. Andrea's instructions were clear and helpful, and her polite requests for check-out procedures very reasonable. We were 3 adults and one 7-year old. We all had a wonderful stay.

Our group had a lovely time at Maria’s place! The lodging was nice, cozy, and clean. As well as having a large kitchen, there was a variety of appliances to use. The hot tub was a very nice addition to the amenities. If we were to come to the island again we would love to stay at Maria’s.
