The attention to detail made this interior space feel welcoming and inviting from the moment I arrived. I can't think of a thing that could have made it nicer. The views were everchanging with a variety of weather patterns during my stay. The ocean and sky were so interesting, even dramatic at times. From the windows I saw eagles, seals and the herring season that came and went, turning the water a tropical blue. So funny to see, when we know the ocean is freezing this time of year. Fishing boats were there a few days, taking their catch. Then walking in the neighbourhood, even the occasional deer to surprise you. So many paths to the beach to walk along the rocky shore when the tide is out. Daytrips are easy to go to everything, from this location. Just a short drive to the main highway and you can see so many interesting things available on central Vancouver Island. I imagine in the summer it would be even lovelier. The hosts were so friendly and helpful.

Ed and Tracy were so helpful!!! They responded to all my questions extremely fast and I never felt like a bother. I really needed an iron and Ed brought us one very efficiently. The place was not cluttered and super clean! Neighbourhood is quiet and safe. 10/10 would recommend to anyone that visits the Sunshine Coast

Travis was a fantastic host. We rented both A&B suites which was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teenagers) The suite was clean and had extra blankets which were nice to use while sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean with our glasses of wine. Hot tub and workout facilities were good. The walking paths right outside the building were our favorite - takes you out to the ocean to play in tidal pools - so much fun! We would love to stay again next time we're in the area! It's a beautiful gem in a central location to Parksville and Nanaimo!

Even better than the pictures. Amazing view, thoughtfully appointed, and comfortable king sized bed! The property has wonderful amenities including a restaurant, gym, and spa - but it has a small intimate feel. We just wish we could have stayed longer. Hope to come back to this beautiful spot!

Home away from Home, is how I would describe this. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were not only welcomed there but that we could feasibly own this place. We stayed a total of 5 nights, and were began to feel sad after the 4th night, knowing we would have to leave. Being literal steps from the ocean made for beautiful sunsets and serene mornings. The area is fairly well protected from winds as we were facing a North-West direction. The indoor pool, hot tub, gym and games room are all within a quick 3-minute walk. The indoor pool is very large with a large shallow area for the kiddo's. Indoor pool has a Dry Sauna as well. The hosts, Kimberly and John, are very communicative. There is a provided binder with local amenities and Places of Interest. We took their suggestions and had a wonderful time getting to know the area! All-in-all, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We have officially decided that we will be making Vancouver Island our yearly destination.

This place was a perfect get away for two. Host was incredibly responsive given that we booked the same day we arrived. Loved all of the linens, towels and amenities in the kitchen. We are looking forward to returning for a longer stay later on in the year. Restaurant was a bonus on site as there isn’t much in the general area

Great weekend away here. Stacy was very helpful and responsive (even asked if everyone was after a power outage). Place was clean and nicely decorated, would definitely like to come back again. Amenities are a great add on and peaceful trails, beach nearby for walks. 10/10 😀

Perfect place for a getaway, with a nice view, great amenities at the resort, and everything you need inside the unit. The place was actually bigger than it looked in the photos which was a nice surprise, and having the kitchen was great when travelling with our kids. Super comfortable king sized bed, and loved exploring the walking paths right outside the patio.

Bench 170 is a very special spot. As my nephew said on arrival, it's 10 out of 10. The house is beautiful and everything was of top quality, the proximity to the beach so great, and we've never experienced such thoughtful touches in all our combined travels. The home had everything we could anticipate, including laundry facilities, pantry items, toys for kids. It was a great combination of a gorgeous holiday home and it being a comfortable livable spot.

My partner and our children reserved this lovely home for a retirement celebration with our in laws. The home was spacious for all six of us and our family dog and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The home is nestled in a beautiful mountainous area with lovely views from all the front windows. It's rustic yet modernized layout and structure made it the perfect place to cozy up together or spread out and enjoy some quiet time separately. It's location is close enough to many trails and beach access points to get out and explore. The hot tub, sauna and cold plunge were definitely a highlight for our Spring trip and did not disappoint.

Lyndsey's space was large, light and comfy. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The house had plenty of space and a fully-stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the beach (just at the end of the street) and walked to restaurants less than 15 minutes away. Lyndsey was very responsive and helpful. We have a great time. Thanks, again, Lyndsey.

Very nice accommodations. Exactly what we were hoping for. Would stay again and certainly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect stay to explore the Sunshine Coast.

From our busy tech lives in Vancouver, this was the perfect getaway we needed to end the year on a high note. I’m incredibly grateful to Jessica for being such a wonderful host to my family and me. The listing had everything we needed for our 4-day stay. Although the weather wasn’t perfect, the breathtaking views kept the mood lively. In the evenings, the cozy ambiance made it ideal to unwind with a book or enjoy Netflix with a glass of wine, truly elevating our experience.

Super cozy accommodations, the waterfront views were stunning. 10/10 reccomend : )

The place and location was amazing. Everything was perfect. The outside eating area with BBQ was better than expected/realized. The entire place looked newly renovated. The bay was great - just plan your water activities there according to the tide, because at low tide there is no water. Great location travelling to Madeira Park and Sechelt or beyond. We are looking forward to returning in the future.

Beautiful property and the sauna, cold plunge and hot tub made it for us. The place is modern clean and cozy. If we had to come back to this area, we would definitely stay here again. Ramona was a pleasure to deal with.

An amazing stay in Parksville. Unit was exactly what we needed as a west coast base. Kids enjoyed the access to the outdoor hot tub and bonus sand toys. Super quick walk to the beach (less than 5 minutes) and playground right out the door! Great place to stay with comfy beds and good kitchen set-up. Unit is close to everything including hiking trails in Rathtrevor Park, Black Goose Inn, French Press Coffee Roasters/Shop, close to drive up Island to other areas and only 2.5 hours to Tofino for a surf!

Our family loved the spacious, bright two bedroom layout! The furnishings are beautiful, and the beds are super comfy. The kitchen was well stocked and the water views from the balconies were a wonderful bonus. The amenities are fantastic, the restaurant is conveniently close, and the pool, gym, and sauna are great additions. The outdoor hot tub feels like a natural hot spring & the 12ac beach front resort allowed for coastal exploration. Tannis was a great host & very friendly. We’ll hope to stay here again in the future.

Bonnie’s place was great, it was clean, quiet and comfortable! The water pressure in the shower was amazing and the kitchen was very well stocked! Bonnie was friendly and communicative and ensured we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We would stay again.

A second great stay at Lilian's. It was spotlessly clean on arrival as always and we enjoyed the well stocked kitchen again. We even had dinner at the Pacific Moon Rising Restaurant on site this time and had a great meal. We will be back!

This condo was so great! I could live here. It had pretty much anything you could need for a short or long stay. The full kitchen was nice with the full size, 6 person table. There were several condiments, tea and coffee left in the kitchen to use. The bathrooms and beds were beautiful. Even the hide-a-bed was fairly comfortable. The pool, hot tub and gym were in a different building so we only used them once. The beach and walking path were right outside the door. The walk is definitely worth it, even if you don’t have a lot of time. Other than the shoreline, Nanoose Bay is within an hour of many hikes, waterfalls and hidden gems to explore. We didn’t find a bakery or grocery store within walking distance. The closest would be Parksville which is not far. But you do have to drive or set out for a long walk. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area. Thank you!

The Strands was a beautiful place to do a little sister trip with our little babies. It was peaceful and it was so nice being so close to the beach and the amenities of the resort available. The unit itself was amazing. It was so well decorated and beautifully designed. Everything was very well thought out and we felt really comfortable. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone!

We loved our stay at Andrea’s place. It was extremely clean. The space had everything we needed even down to a bin of spare chargers! It was also very well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen. It even had good coffee!!! The toys, books and board games were such a lovely touch and were so helpful for us entertaining our kids. I find traveling with children they aren’t always as welcomed but we certainly didn’t feel that during our stay here. We had the opportunity to request a high chair and pack and play (with a crib mattress). It was an easy walk to the beach and we very much enjoyed our time exploring what Parksville had to offer. It was April when we visited but the close proximity to the pool in the summer months would also be a hit. Andrea was very accommodating and we can’t wait to come back. I’d give her more stars if I could!

Great and peaceful space, nice and quiet in October. Kids friendly 🤸🏻‍♀️amazing facilities at the resort too. Lovely bedrooms. Awesome view of the creek and tides. We can't wait to return again!
