We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Great Tangley Manor for my husbands 70th Birthday Celebration. The house is totally amazing, steeped in history but so comfortable and welcoming. We were a party of 8 adults and 4 children under 8 years old and everyone found something of interest and their own little nook in this beautiful house. The kitchen is so well stocked with utensils and cutlery, beautiful crockery and a great range cooker, the glass area for eating breakfast was so light and airy a real treat looking out onto the courtyard. The dining room perfect for seating 12 people and enjoying time together telling stories around the enormous dining table. The house is so spacious that everyone had space to sit, relax, play and just chill. The grounds are beautifully kept and the swimming pool is amazing, everyone enjoyed their time in the pool.. so well maintained. Thank you to the owners for making us feel so welcome we loved our time at Great Tangley Manor, a truly unique experience

We had a fantastic stay at this property! Our host was absolutely lovely—helpful, professional, and so friendly, making us feel truly welcome from the start. The home itself exceeded all expectations. In person, it looks even more stunning than the photos—100% better! The property was spotless, well-organized, and thoughtfully designed. We especially loved the floor heating, which made our stay extra cozy, and the built-in speakers were a dream for music lovers like us. Every detail was just perfect, creating a truly comfortable and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend this place, and we’d love to stay here again in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful home hosted by a lovely couple. The house is large and beautiful with everything you need to spend quality time with your family. The garden is stunning- I thought the pool would be the best part but we equally loved the space for children to play, the hammock, and the seating areas. It was the perfect place to relax together and enjoy the weather. Michael and Linda make you feel at home, are quick to help with any questions, and went above and beyond to provide baby items to make our stay easier. I’d definitely recommend staying at their home!

Miles is a lovely host. He is very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is great. It is equipped with everything you need and much more, it's clean and comfortable. Situated in a beautiful garden which gives you so much energy when you open the blinds in the morning. I would definitely recommend Miles place and would go back in future. Thank you

Linda has been an absolutely fantastic host and her lodge is just gorgeous - it modern, clean and stylish with all the home comforts you need to feel homely and relaxed immediately upon arrival. The furniture is high quality and the beds are so comfy I looked forward to going to bed each evening. It’s a lovely quiet spot and there are some lovely walks nearby. We used the pool regularly…it was so quiet we were the only ones there which was lovely.

Yvette’s property is situated in a beautiful area of Horsham with excellent routes into London. The property was spacious and well looked after. Yvette was very accommodating and proactive with communications. Highly recommend for your future London visits.

Très bon séjour chez Purja. Petit logement sympa et chaleureux. Il faisait très bon malgré le froid dehors. Logement propre dans un quartier résidentiel . Proche gare Bickley pour aller à Londres en 35 min sans utiliser la voiture . Il est impossible de se déplacer avec sa voiture à Londres ( pas de parking) je recommande sans hésiter

Genuinely a hidden gem and not given enough credit from the photos. Feels like home, really big house. Amazing for families with kids. Lots of toys and a yard to spend some time when it’s sunny. Sarah is super friendly and responsive.

Cosy and quiet cottage, beautifully and stylishly restored and furnished. A perfect bolt hole for our one night stay with our dog. Sam met us on arrival and was a charming, friendly and unobtrusive host. Little touches made a huge difference - bread, milk, butter, juice etc all ready and waiting for us. The place was immaculately clean. Couldn’t have asked for more and we look forward to coming again.

Really lovely and spacious home that was perfect for our catch up with extended family travelling from abroad. The location was excellent for local attractions (Windsor Castle, The Long Walk, Legoland) and easy travel options into London for sightseeing and theatre with good connections to Heathrow. The glorious view of the extensive local NYE fireworks displays from the bedroom window was an absolute highlight which the kids enjoyed very much. Kate was really helpful and communicative and we would definitely recommend her place.

Alex's home was a great spot for our first trip to the UK! The neighborhood was easy to navigate and felt safe. It was a very convient location to public transportation and very close to local markets that made our daily adventures a breeze. (If you want a traditional English afternoon tea walk over to Orange Peeko.)

Staying at Goldhill was pleasant. The hosts were lovely, hospitable and flexible as we extended our stay a few times. Goldhill felt like home, we had a few issues but the hosts resolved them quickly. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway then Goldhill is the place for you. The garden is beautiful and had the weather been better we would have thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall a lovely stay.

The house and host are luxury level. White company sheets and towels, professionally laundered and crisply ironed. Very attentive and responsive host. Wondeful central and yet quiet location with great buses and trains into central London. Absolutely lovely home and host. We will book again.

We had a great stay at Rebecca’s beautiful house. It was like a home away from home with everything we needed. Super comfortable beds, new and clean bathrooms plus toys in the kids rooms. Walkable to bus routes, mainline train stations and tube stations into central London. Really easy to find our way around (but we are familiar with the area). Rebecca was proactive, checking in on us and ensuring everyone was ok and was responsive within minutes. We would happily stay here again if we are visiting London again in the future and would recommend to families looking for a base to explore London.
