The house is roomy and at a beautiful location. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. It worked very well for our family of three couples.

The Morcom House was amazing! It offers beautiful snowy views and is a hop and skip away from Elk Mountain, where you can spend the day skiing. The surrounding area was nice and quiet after hours, and the frozen lake was a gorgeous view. I would highly recommend it and would stay again, knowing it's dog-friendly. The house was nice and spacious, very comfortable for 5 adults, 1 baby, and 2 dogs.

A lovely home in a beautiful setting. Heather supplies all the necessities to have a truly amazing lake home experience. She makes her guests feel welcome and is reachable if need be. Highly recommend.

It’s a really cute place on a nice lake. Due to my change in some scheduling, I was not able to use the kayaks but the lake was close and scenic and I walked around a bit. The inside of the cabin was just right for me. Worked out well, glad I chose it!

This was our second time staying at Field Stone and both times have been amazing. We look forward to our next stay here.

We LOVED Kathleen’s home. It was perfect for our summer family vacation. The house has everything you need and then some. Located on a quiet little lake, perfect for swimming, fishing and Kathleen’s home offers many outdoor activities(kayaks, canoe, water splash pad and trampoline). We hope to visit again! Thank you!

Our stay was just perfect. The photos don't do it justice. Directly across from Crystal Lake to enjoy the water and only 10-15 mins from Elk Mt. The house was in pristine condition , the beds are very comfy , big bathrooms and large living spaces. The kitchen could feed an army and had all the amenities you could ask for. James was the perfect host and was very responsive if I had any questions. We will definitely be back to stay here . Thank you James !!

We had the pleasure of staying at this property for President's Day weekend. The home is very spacious with plenty of bedrooms if you have a larger group and a great game room in the lower level. Shuffle board is one of our favorite games, so my son was excited when he saw it in the game room. We also spent a lot of time playing board games in the sun room which has great views of their expansive property. We ventured outside quite a bit, walking around the pond, sledding down the small hill, playing football and walking the marked trails on the property. The main living room has a nice wood-burning fireplace and it was generally where would relax and unwind after a day of activities. Also, the blackstone gril was a huge plus! Lastly, our host Cindy was great! Very proactive in communicating with us in advance, providing helpful information prior to our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway!

Our family needed to unwind from the hustle and bustle of the city and staying at Mary’s place gave us peace and serenity. Just what we needed! Mary was responsive to our messages and we felt safe at her place. We will come back again when the weather is warmer. Well worth what you pay for.

This cottage was truley a hidden gem only a hour from home but the enjoyment my grown children and grandchildren had is priceless. Lake was great. Great location. Great fishing,swimming, and boating. Loved it ! Would definitely do this again! Great family vacation ❤️ 🙌

Probably the best host I’ve ever dealt with; proactive and responsive. The place was great for a weekend with my family, really quiet and peaceful. Cozy place for a winter weekend.

Overall a nice place and clean. The pictures don't do it justice, much more spacious than we expected. Cool sleeping area for the kids right upstairs with full beds and bunk beds as well and two separate private bedrooms on the same floor. Nice deck, yard, view, beautiful sunrise! Deck with kayaks, paddle boat, grill and fire pit, plenty of chairs and a picnic table. Everything you need for cooking, bathroom is nice. Parking can be tricky so definitely follow the directions but we fit a few cars easily. Not really handicapped accessible to get from the driveway to the house for a walker or a wheelchair. I still give it five stars because it did exceed our expectations from the description and Cindy was an amazing host and very responsive and helpful. Would stay here again.

I had such a wonderful stay! The house was absolutely beautiful and incredibly relaxing—exactly what I needed. Everything was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully put together. The atmosphere made it so easy to unwind. I would absolutely love to come back again. Highly recommend!

If you stumble upon this listing, definitely book it. My group of 16 (including myself) have been going on large group trips for the past 3 years, and could all equally agree that this has been the most comfortable stay we have experienced. Ken provides pretty much all basic household necessities, plenty of space, and lots to do. He is very responsive, and provides answers to all questions and concerns. My friends and I spent our time swimming, kayaking/paddle boating and fishing on the property. We also had some take a trip over to Salt Springs State Park and others who rode around the area on a quad we brought. There was a blue-green algae bloom that occurred at the lake prior to our arrival which Ken took the time to not only reach out about but also provide numerous options to resolve any missed experience because of it. My friends and I are extremely grateful that Ken has chosen to share his clearly cherished property with others, and we are eager to come back in the future.

Robert was a fantastic host. My wife and I spent the weekend there after our wedding and it was a very pleasant getaway. Robert made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The house and the property are both gorgeous, the inside was squeaky clean, and the lake is always a treat – I loved fishing in it. It was certainly a little home away from home, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. One day during our trip, I managed to lock my wife and I out of my car while getting groceries in town, and Robert went out of his way to try and help us and even offered to pick us up. Fortunately, I did manage to eventually get in my car, but the offer alone was exceptional. He is an awesome host, and he definitely went above & beyond for my wife and I. Thanks again, Robert! Our stay was great, and we will for sure return one day!

This was a lovely home to stay at. Although we only spent a night, we would be more than likely to come back! A++!!

Absolutely beautiful house. We enjoyed our weekend staying here. One thing about rental houses I’ve noticed is that the quality of kitchen items is lacking very often as I love to cook, but not here! Pots and pans and utensils were on point and the kitchen was amazing with the grill right outside the door. Our weekend in this beautiful house was amazing and the hot tub was perfect after being outside all day in the rain! The reclaimed wood detailing this house was truly beautiful and we can tell that a lot of care and thought was put into its construction. Thank you Laura for having this beautiful home at the ready for a memorable weekend!
