Everything is as advertised. We had a very cozy and relaxing long weekend enjoying the nearby trail and lagoon then lounging in the comfortable recliners by the fireplace or soaking in the hot tub. Close to downtown and a variety of restaurants, cafes, diners, pubs, malls, and groceries. Very responsive host and was quick to answer any and all questions promptly even before we checked in. Was very knowledgeable about local to dos (and what not to do). It may seem silly but they have an excellent welcome binder to get settled and to help plan your visit to Anchorage. Would recommend and would stay again!

The place was just what I was needing and had everything to make the stay great! The bed was soft and comfy and I was within walking distance to a few places! John and Bri were great and I would stay again when I’m in the area!

A perfect cozy cabin on a beautiful property with a nice view of Big Lake. Hot tub and sauna were amazing, along with all of the other thoughtful amenities! Hosts were responsive and friendly. We enjoyed that we could bring our dogs with us, they loved it too. Highly recommend and can’t wait to be back!

This was one of our favorite airbnb stays to date! This home was perfect for our family. Beautifully decorated and extremely family friendly. My children felt right at home . I loved the family friendly accommodations and the hand written welcome note. We would love to visit here again!

The cabin was cute, cozy, and perfectly sized for our needs. They communicated well and even dropped of coffee to the door! If we ever get the chance to come back to Anchorage, this place is at the top of our list!

I always enjoy staying at Patti’s. It always suits my needs and is comfortable for me and my dogs. Patti and her husband are friendly and welcoming. Always one of my go to places.

Little touches and big wins at the Talkeetna Lake Retreat! Jessica was very communicative as we neared our arrival time, making sure we found the cabin smoothly. The cabin itself was cozy and filled with so many little touches it felt like home for our 5-day stay. The kitchen was fully prepared for in-house meals. The hot tub was amazing, offering beautiful views of the lake as you soaked. Nearby there are skiing trails accessible from the property and there were snowshoes she left just for us to use. An amazing g stay at an amazing cabin in an amazing location! Stay if you can—you will leave refreshed and relaxed.

Lisa was wonderful! Very communicative and pleasant! Our plans changed twice and she was unbelievably accommodating and kind. Everything was exactly as pictured and extremely clean. We have a trip in NC and I was looking to see if she had something there, I'd love to book with her again!!
