Orchard View offered us a grand weekend stay, fully equipped with everything you may need. Decorated to a high standard and delightfully clean. The view was particularly lovely. Tricky to find so arrive in the light if you can!

Corinne’s place was idyllically situated with beautiful views. The cabin was well equipped although a couple of extra mugs would have been good. Corinne is an excellent host, very responsive and helpful and the welcome goody bag was very thoughtful. The bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was fabulous. Sitting on the decking in the sun looking out across the countryside was beautiful. I would definitely recommend Corinne’s place. Cleaning could have been more thorough. The kitchen area and bathroom were spotless but there was a lot of dust on ledges and lots of cobwebs which was disappointing. The sofa was also repaired with tape and had dodgy springs. This did not spoil our stay but is worth noting.

We had a lovely and peaceful two night stay in Damson pod with our 3 year old. From the super comfy beds to the BBQ area (BBQ comes with a bag of charcoal you just need go light - couldn’t be easier) and even meeting Sarah’s charismatic llamas, we had a dreamy stay. While we were in the area we visited Heights of Abraham and Matlock Bath, which were quaint and great for young families. We were sad to leave and would certainly stay again.

A great place to stay, a lovely well equipped cottage, with fantastic views and friendly and responsive hosts. There's lots to do in Matlock Bath, we had a great time here.

Overall, the stay was great and comfortable. On the day of check in we did have problems with the heating as we were from India and weather is very different, however it was promptly addressed by the Host and rest of the stay was comfortable. Marlena was always there to help us. We were having a bit of difficulty checking in, but we called her and she helped us with the same. Great location and lots of stores around to grab a meal or just things in general.

Well-equipped cottage in an unusual but very attractive and quiet location. Wirksworth is a pleasant market town and the Derbyshire Dales are a beautiful and interesting part of the country. We were lucky to get 6 days of glorious sunshine, and the cottage was very warm during the cold nights even without using the woodburner. For real ale and music enthusiasts, the Feather Star is a delight (only 20 minutes walk). Further afield, Kedlestone Hall (National trust) is 11 miles away and includes a superb 3 mile woodland walk. Tiina couldn't have been more helpful, and I can thoroughly recommend Hillside Cottage.

Lovely little place half an hour drive from peak district garden is great for dogs and was really secure hut is really small so just keep that in mind and don't overpack Loved the hot tub/fire pit/ BBQ and the weather thankfully held out for us! would stay here again :)

Very comfortable house in perfect location. We loved our stay here and hope to return.
