We stayed here for a mountain biking holiday with the kids and couldn’t have been happier with the place. Lots of room and an easy ride to the mountain bike park. Perfect holiday house for families with young kids!

We loved our stay at Cottage by the Lake so much, we didn’t want to leave. The house, lake and surrounds are so beautiful. We had a fabulous few days relaxing, watching the wildlife & kayaking. A highlight was feeding the cows with the friendly host Ann and my son is still raving about his tractor ride too! The house is beautifully presented, very clean and Ann has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. We will def be back soon!

A super clean and well appointed house in a community with great facilities including a gym which we used. We had 2 toddlers with us and there were toys in the playroom which made them feel right at home. Definitely recommend.

If you are looking for peace and tranquility and a chance to gaze up at the stars and explore the beautiful region with family or friends, the 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage is the perfect spot. You can sit outside on the veranda and watch kangaroos and birds or sit under the gazebo and enjoy a picnic. Stephanie is the most lovely host you will ever meet!

Garry’s place was perfect for our family during a weekend sporting event. Great price, was wonderful having two car spaces, and a nice big fridge and freezer. Washer and dryer was also extremely helpful for us. Clean, modern, we will be booking again.

Our stay was great. Very clean and easy to get in. Had a washing machine and dryer which was extremely handy for our situation. Location wise was spot on and very useful for us as we played at QEO across the road the next day. The only thing I would say, and this isn’t a controllable factor, you can hear the night club when everything get quiet. Woke us up around 1pm when the cars were off the road, was hard to get back to sleep with the doof doof music, so if you’re light sleepers maybe stay away on a Saturday night. Was very enjoyable!

Spotlessly clean and beautifully curated, the cottage was everything we could have hoped for and more. Peaceful, comfortable and filled with thoughtful touches, it also felt private which we appreciated. The welcome bottle of fizz was very generous as were all the other amenities designed to create a feeling of home away from home. Only a five minute drive from Daylesford, the location was super convenient and easily accessible. Similarly, Heather was incredibly responsive and quick to help with local tips and suggestions. An all-round lovely stay! We hope to visit again one day soon.

Rhonda was a great host, quick to respond and her home was beautiful with lots of personal touches, loved the photo album showing the process of the home being built and the garden and outdoor area were beautiful to relax and enjoy the view. Inside was beautiful and welcoming, the coffee machine was a life saver with good quality coffee and welcoming chocolates next to a beautiful welcoming message, we will definitely return
