We stayed a long weekend at Grace House with 5 couples and all agreed this is the best place we all have ever stayed. Gorgeous house, jura coffee machine, dishwashers, washing machines, iron press.. So much eye for detail - in one word: incredible! We will definitely be back to Grace house! Special thanks to you Gretchen for your great communication and for being so accomodating.

Had a lovely stay here with my family. The location is extremely scenic but also an easy walk to the main town of Swellendam for restaurants and supermarkets. The outside area of this home is fantastic- the stoep and pool area are amazing for warm days as well as one day it was raining here we sat out in perfect comfort watching the storm. Inside was incredible clean and spacious- the kitchen extremely well equipped for both braais and oven/stove cooking. Lynette was a fantastic host- proactive before our stay and responsive throughout!

Our stay at Alida’s place was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and at home. Alida is a fantastic host who truly goes above and beyond to ensure her guests have a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The space itself is cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed to make you feel right at home. Everything you could need for a self-catering stay is provided, from a fully equipped kitchen to all the little essentials that make a big difference. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention has been put into making this a perfect retreat. We enjoyed the splash pool in the heat and the option to warm it up with a wood fire was amazing. The location is ideal as it’s close to town and all the shops, but secluded enough to enjoy the surrounding nature. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a warm, welcoming, and homely experience. Thank you, Alida, for your outstanding hospitality - we can’t wait to be back.

We really enjoyed staying at the beach house, everything was so stunning. Right on the beach, kids enjoyed looking for sea shells and catching hermit crabs. The splash pool was great , not too cold , perfect for a quick cool down.

We've just returned from another fantastic stay at The Barn and it was a pleasure from the start of our holiday to the end. Robert & Gert are friendly hosts who were always on hand if we needed something and responded very quickly. They went above and beyond when we had a minor wifi issue and kept us informed of anything happening (loadshedding has started again). The Barn is fabulous - this was our 3rd holiday here - the house and grounds are spotless and presented beautifully with everything you need for a holiday, including pool towels, braai facilities and recommendations for day trips. We know the area well and the location is brilliant for exploring the stunning Overberg region. The Barn definitely feels like home from home and will be our No 1 choice for our 2026 holiday to Napier.

We had an amazing time with family at cooper house, it is beautifully equipped with everything you could possibly want. Great location and lovely hosts.

Lovely house in a breathtaking location. So much bigger and nicer than the photos! Helana was a great host and on hand. Check-in and out was easy. Great security on the property, felt very safe. Thank you Helana for making us feel right at home!

Really loved our stay at Seehuis. Karin and Theresa were lovely hosts. The house is in a fantastic position right on the beach, and you can fall asleep listening to the waves crashing. The house is very comfortable, lots of accommodation and very well laid out. Its a practical beach holiday house. There is a little shop in town that has many supplies. We had a fantastic week. Thank you!

Absolutely beautiful spot. Great for getting families together and hiking / chilling over Christmas. The place is wonderful - has fans to keep you cool and plenty cutlery / plates. The owners have done the most insane job of building and positioning this house. The VIEWS! Just a note to bring extra towels and all food needs (salt /pepper/tea/table tennis balls etc).

What a brilliant place to stay! Thank you Nina for creating such a peaceful, clean and comfortable home. Everything was clean, tidy and there were ample blankets, soaps and kitchen utensils and cleaning products to make us feel right at home. We stayed there with our 3 kids and it felt so safe...our children even made friends with the neighbours! Nina was easy to talk to and sent through so many local recommendations. We will 100% be visiting again!

If you are looking to get away from it all, have total silence except the wind and sound of birds and just unwind them this is the place. The house is rustic and has so many interesting bits and pieces, rich in history. The wifi works and the beds are super comfy. Splash pool was a blessing but the piece and tranquiliy, the amazing views, sunrises and sunsets. A beautiful place to find your soul. A truly wonderful experience.

The place is comfortable and spacious and we had a great time. Particularly appreciated the modern and spacious fridge as we needed to store a lot of food for the weekend :) The garden is amazing and the pool was great if a bit cold.

Sally’s home is beautiful both inside and out! It’s well equipped for self catering and feels like a piece of paradise in the heart of Robertson. Sally was a helpful and responsive host. Already planning our next stay.

I rented the guest room in Gila's beautiful home. I felt at home immediately and immersed myself in the surroundings, both inside the artistically decorated home as well the carefully cultivated, lush garden. Whether you rent the entire home or the guest room, your need of rest, peace and reflection will be fulfilled.

Had a great stay at Riverine. The house is perfect with all required amenities. Really enjoyed our trip as we brought the boat and did loads of waterskiing and trips up and down the river. Very peaceful place and on a great strip of the river that doesn’t get hit by the wind too badly. Also a quick drive to the bush pub on the boat. Not a lot of signal by the house but loved being off grid for a few days. 100% would recommend this stay if you’re heading to the Breede. Definitely bring your boat for added fun on the river.

The Withuis cottage is an underrated treasure! The cottage was beautifully furnished with all the little luxuries of home and the location will be hard to beat. The cottage is private and the deck is perfect for leisurely braais and enjoying the sunset. Our dog enjoyed the freedom of the farm’s open spaces as well. The Warmwaterberg Spa is a quick 20 min drive away and there is a lot of Karoo hospitality to enjoy in the area. Will be back soon!

The house was in pristine condition. Great linen and the house smelled great. The host was very helpful and communicative. We had no issues finding the place and appreciated the secure parking. Would stay again 😁
