This lake house was the perfect getaway! The surroundings were absolutely stunning-peaceful, quiet, & surrounded by nature, making it the ideal place to relax & unwind. The house itself was spotless & well maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the variety of games available, which made for some really fun nights in. Whether enjoying the scenic views outside or spending time indoors, there was always something to do. Our dogs absolutely loved it, too—they had plenty of space to explore and enjoy the fresh air! The hosts were fantastic—proactive & thoughtful, ensuring we had everything we needed. Their attention to detail truly made our stay special. If you’re looking for a clean, beautiful, & peaceful retreat in nature, this is the place to be. Highly recommend and would love to return!

Easy to find, restaurants and shopping minutes away. Very quiet. Plenty of games to enjoy after hours. Tv in every room. Host are VERY responsive.

This home is by far the Pearl of the Suwannee! It has a spectacular view with a beautiful exterior and interior designs. All furnishings and appliances are there and in new condition. This home has everything including watercraft, games, grill, cargo elevator and firepit just to mention a few. Bring your toothbrush and you're set. I've enjoyed the Suwannee River Rest many times and highly recommend it and Capt. Cas is an awesome host!

Amazing hosts. Anything we needed they were quick to accommodate us. Felt safe and comfortable during the duration of our stay. Even helped us to river to float with the kids. My dog had the time of his life running around the open property. If your looking for a relaxing get away in the peace and quiet this is a must!

We had a lovely stay at this home. It was exactly as described and shown in the photos and is the perfect place to relax. Just watching boats and jet skis on the river could occupy me all day. We kayaked and tubed at the Ichetucknee Springs State Park, which is only a ten-minute drive away. Branford is a small town without many stores or restaurants so pack accordingly. The kitchen is spacious and well-stocked with basics, so I had no problem preparing meals. I would definitely return to this home in the future.

Beautiful and serene setting away from the city was just what my kids and I needed. This cozy River house was clean and comfortable with everything my family needed. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

This property and home were perfect for my family- including the dogs! My kids loved the games around the porch and the open area to run and play. The view of the river is exceptional. We had a great time exploring the river on kayaks thanks to the convenience of launching from their dock.

Beautiful house on the river with easy access to the water and use of Kayaks and paddleboard. We enjoyed awesome sunsets at the river deck and the firepit area is a treat. The leisure area under the house and the possibility to eat inside or outside is great. The house is nicely decorated and has all the amenities to make your stay comfortable Casey was a terrific host and made our stay really pleasant. AC works very well and all beds are very good and we all had a fantastic time. Thank you

Our GPS missed it by a hundred feet, still easy to find. Very quiet area. Fished a little, caught a few, very peaceful. The cabin is very nice and VERY clean. We love this area and the Sugar Shack was by far the best place we've stayed. Thanks for having us!!!

We booked Jessica's Cabin for our kids who needed shelter from a hurricane. Jessica was extremely responsive to our questions and immediately accepted our request to book her cabin. While we didn't stay in the cabin ourselves, we heard that it was quaint and, given the circumstances, a lovely place to stay.
