Lovely place if you are looking for some peace and quiet. It’s also a good location to see the Northern Lights - they were right above us!

We had the most wonderful time at Thordis' place. This is a beautiful apartment that is well equipped with everything you might need. Some Airbnbs feel impersonal, but this space was designed with love. There are great touches like classic Icelandic literature in English on the shelves. There are clear instructions for how to use all of the appliances. There is ample storage for your personal items even though it isn't a huge space. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept wonderfully. Thordis gave us extremely helpful instructions for how to get some late night food and early morning breakfast, when our flight in was quite delayed and we had a morning tour already booked. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and I can't recommend it more!

Magnea’s apartment was fantastic. Clean, comfortable, warm and very well appointed. The apartment decor is not only comfortable but so cute and thoughtful. I loved all the local touches. And the location can’t be beat!! Right across from the sea with fantastic views. Great for relaxing and watching the world go by, which was my entire agenda. I also found it easy to walk to the small grocery store for food as well as the bus stop to ride into Reykjavik - take the #55 to the #1, and then voila! Magnea was very responsive and helpful - a perfect host. I would definitely stay here again!!

Very spacious and comfortable apartment! Asdis and other air bnb host responded to our questions quickly and were very helpful. We met the host who lives upstairs and her husband, both were kind and friendly. I’d recommend this Air Bnb to anyone.

10/10. Maria and her family were wonderful hosts. From letting my children play with their pets to allowing us flexible check in and out due to our flight times, this listing is an absolute gem. Great water (drinking and bathing), beautiful yard, killer views. We saw the northern lights right from our windows multiple nights. I wish we could have stayed forever!

Edda's place was wonderful!It's location is perfect as it is about 15' walk away from the center and the parking is free and easy if you follow her instructions. Everything was clean and tidy, and Edda herself was friendly and very responsive to all our questions!Highly recommended!Thanks for everything!

The Water Tower is a unique building and beautifully designed and decorated. It is a short drive from The Blue Lagoon, so an ideal place to stay for a visit. The views are spectacular with wide windows to view the ocean and surrounding areas. It is extremely comfortable with very high end fixtures and fittings. We loved the open plan kitchen and living area at the top of the Tower which is large and full of natural light. Super comfy beds. We had a really great stay!

Our stay in the design cottage was the perfect ending to our Icelandic adventures! Anthony was an incredibly wonderful host greeting us upon arrival and coming to bid us farewell before we left for the airport. It is evident how much Anthony enjoys hosting guests. We even had the opportunity to meet the family’s precious dog, Luca! Anthony gave us great suggestions for dining in the area and provided lovely personal touches to our stay. A late check-out on the day of our departure allowing us to linger in luxury just a bit longer was greatly appreciated. The home itself could not have been more ideal. The decor is beautiful and the surroundings super comfortable, a true home away from home. The heated bathroom floor, exquisite lighting, beautiful kitchenware, exceptionally comfortable beds and overall feel of hygge made this stay not only enjoyable, but also truly memorable.

Man erblickt das Haus von weitem, kommt dort an und fühlt sich wie im Paradies. Das Haus ist total heimelig und liebevoll eingerichtet und alles da was man braucht. Man ist umgeben von unberührter Natur, einfach traumhaft. Man kann entspannen, Akkus aufladen, mit seinem Morgenkaffe vor die Tür, den Pferden und Robben Guten Morgen sagen und einen atemberaubenden Sonnenaufgang genießen. Die Betten sind super bequem, man kann von oben aus dem Schlafzimmer zu allen Seiten raus schauen, man ist komplett für sich. Die Dusche ist schön groß, das Badezimmer modern. Man hat 35 Minuten entfernt Heiße Quellen die nicht überlaufen oder überteuert sind, mit traumhafter Kulisse. Die Gastgeberin ist auch zu keiner Zeit aufdringlich, aber immer erreichbar. Ich kann diese Unterkunft wirklich empfehlen und sie ist jeden Cent wert. Wir werden definitiv nicht das letzte mal dort gewesen sein.

We traveled with an infant and since no one was using the place the day before, Hildur allowed us to come straight from our flight! It was so incredibly nice of them and my daughter appreciated the opportunity to catch up on some sleep. Overall, the place is beautiful, spacious, and had an incredible review. I’d recommend this AirBnb to anyone!

Wir, eine Gruppe von 7 Personen, durften eine ganze Woche das Club House und das umliegende Anwesen des Hvammsvik Spa genießen. Das Club House ist eines von 5 Häusern und bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten und vieles mehr! Die Lage ist unbeschreiblich, es ist einfach ein Traum! Alles war richtig sauber, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bei jedem Wetter urgemütlich. Die Schlafzimmer waren allesamt mit sehr guten Betten, Kissen und Bademänteln ausgestattet. Die Bäder sehr sauber und mit allem Zubehör bestückt (Handtücher, Toilettenpapier, Body wash, Shampoo etc.) Am Morgen ist der Blick aus dem Fenster einfach wunderbar und am Abend tanzen die Nordlichter am Himmel! Noch nie haben wir so tolle Nordlichter gesehen. Das Hvammsvik Spa ist unweit vom Haus entfernt und es ist ein Juwel. Mein Mann und ich waren zum 19. mal in Island, lieben dieses wunderschöne Land und haben stets tolle Unterkünfte bewohnt… aber dieser Ort, dieses Club House ist etwas ganz besonderes. 💙❤️

We really enjoyed our stay here! The place is so cute and the horses are a bonus! They were so sweet! We even got to see the lights! We would definitely come back!

Our host was a kind and pleasant elderly gentleman, and the house was a real Icelandic home located in a quiet and peaceful village. It was his actual residence, and while the house was somewhat old, it was spacious enough for our family of four—two children and us as a couple—without any inconvenience. Although the official address suggests that it is not in Reykjavik but in a nearby town, the location was still great, and driving to the city center was quick and convenient, so it was not an issue at all.

Loved it! The house is beautiful, and we loved the hot tub and bathrobes! It was a great home base for our vacation.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit Blick direkt auf die Bucht. Die Wohnung hat alles, was man für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt benötigt, man kann es auch für länger aushalten. Da wir ein Auto hatten, kamen wir auch schnell überall hin, die öffentliche Erreichbarkeit können wir nicht beurteilen. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.

The Harbor Apartment was perfect to visit Reykjavik. It’s clean, comfortably furnished, nicely decorated, and wonderfully warm and inviting on a cold January visit to Iceland. The location was unbeatable, just across the street from the scenic old harbor and near plenty of excellent restaurants and steps from a small market for your daily needs. The host provided voluminous tips on getting around and responded quickly with a work-around when we discovered that the Internet network listed in the check-in instructions was down. We would definitely stay here again. Just one small caveat for light sleepers—the bedroom window is located next to the ground floor elevator and you can occasionally hear the voices of people coming and going, or stomping the snow off their shoes before they get in the elevator.

Wir könnten nicht glücklicher sein. Es war für uns der letzte Stopp unserer Winterreise und die Gemütlichkeit der Unterkunft hätte uns fast nicht mehr nach Hause fliegen lassen. Die Wohnung ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos und das einfache Leben durch die unmengen an Gewürzen, Tees, Kaffee hat das entspannte Erlebnis abgerundet. Man sollte keine Schwierigkeiten mit (wenn auch kurzen) steilen Treppen haben. Für uns eine ganz klare 10/10! Wir kommen gerne wieder, sollten wir nochmal nach Island reisen. Vielen Lieben Dank für Alles und die tolle Kommunikation!

Thank you to the brilliant hosts for making our stay so enjoyable. Perfect location beside the sea, and within 5 minutes drive of the supermarket and restaurants in Akranes. Under an hour into the city centre and just over an hour to the airport. The ideal base. Salvor and Bjorn were so kind and welcoming. The apartment looks out at the sea, and was immaculately prepared. Full of personal touches and all essentials. The hot tub was a godsend each night, and we got the northern lights on our last night. What an end to a great stay. Fully recommend staying here. If it was a hotel it would be a 5 star. Thank you again to our lovely hosts.

Unnur’s place was absolutely spectacular, and she was an exceptional communicator. She went out of her way to ensure I had everything I needed, including a charging adapter upon arrival and extra towels for my comfort. Her communication was truly outstanding.

The place was clean, tidy and spacious! It is walking distance to the lovely Sky Lagoon. It is short driving distance to Reykjavik and other attractions. The host was very responsive and provided all the necessary information for a smooth check-in as well as some additional travel tips! We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend!
