Place was just as described. We were allowed to do an early check in which was great because we landed in the morning and were exhausted. She also had food in the fridge for us, which was a lifesaver, because we were too exhausted to go anywhere. The place is small but had just what we needed for the one day. Plus it’s close to the airport and blue lagoon. She was super quick to respond to any questions we had and super friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

We had a very nice and comfortable stay, loved the aesthetics of the house. She is a very helpful host as we had lost our way to the house location but she came and picked us up with our luggage from the wrong way and made us check in very smoothly, we had asked her for near by supermarket as we needed milk but she helped us with giving us 1 whole pack of milk from her house.

Freyja’s accommodation was perfection. From the warm check-in with staff to the lovely stay, everything was perfect and thoughtfully tailored. The floors were heated and it was a cozy place to come to after a few days up north in the cold. Close to literally any and everything, I can't recommend it enough. It's the little touches that made it–the linens, the chocolates on the towel, the lovely staff. It was splendid.

Such a fantastic place to stay with honestly the best Airbnb host we have had! The cottage is so lovely and cosy, and Hafdis was so kind and welcoming. Would love to be back in the future ! Definitely recommend !

Cindy was great! Room was nice and minimalistic and got the job done. Perfect for solo travelers like me. Hot tub was a bonus, though you do have to request it ahead of time, which wasn’t a big deal. Location is perfect- between the airport and Blue Lagoon, and a close drive to supermarket and restaurants.

The hosts, Gerður and Óskar, were responsive and proactive in ensuring all was going well during my one week stay by checking in part-way through my stay. I appreciated the privacy given by both the location of the property and the hosts themselves. The location and property, located in Kópavogu, was exactly as described and it was a great jumping off point for exploring the surrounding rural areas and Reykjavik by car. Kópavogur is also more accessible to the airport (KEF) and south-western Iceland. I enjoyed discovering shops, restaurants and bakeries in Kópavogur as it is a more relaxed atmosphere than downtown Reykjavik which is also very accessible from this location. Thank you Óskar and Gerður for hosting me with Icelandic hospitality! Takk :)

Andri was an amazing host. He was always kind and responsive, He shared pastries with me and always on top of things. The location of the accommodation was right near downtown so exploring was made so easy. The private bathroom is well-kept. Overall, it was an amazing stay. 10/10 recommend
