Swalwell : locations de vacances

A lovely stay! Very comfortable, clean and welcoming caravan. Well equipped - esp for children with potty, steps in bathrooms and many games which we played in the evenings. Comfortable beds and quality bedding and towels. Ample space to sit on the decking or the cosy back garden if weather is good. Karen always responded within 5 mins to any questions we had - though we didn't need to ask for anything as it was all provided. We were pleased to be in a quiet spot on the site as we were not really interested in the entertainment block - not our thing and quite busy. However, it is just a short walk to a lovely, peaceful beach with rockpools to explore after a tasty ice cream from Crosswell Ices. Only 35 mins drive to beautiful Alnwick Castle and Gardens so we had a day in each of these. NB We planned to eat in the walkable Greek restaurant but person at Drift Cafe said it had closed down "for the foreseeable future" so we drove to Widdrington Inn for a lovely meal (book first).

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

Lovely spot that was perfect for our family. Views from nearly every side over rolling hills (very peaceful), easy walk to town and nearby trails to hike. Wasn’t far at all to places like Kielder Forest, Hadrians Wall or even Newcastle. As we stayed over Christmas, the hosts decorated the house to really make us feel at home! Would definitely stay again.

Jaya was a very attentive host and responded promptly always. It was a perfect place for a group to stay over that had plans in Newcastle. Plenty of space and exactly what we needed. Some of the kitchen essentials provided as well which was a nice touch and saved us going to the shops!

Had the most amazing stay at the most perfect spot for my little doggy …….and grandson too ! Definitely want a return visit . Perfect spot for exploring the local area and everybody so friendly .

We had a lovely stay at Ebenezer house! Alex and Olivia were great hosts who were in touch with clear instructions and also some local recommendations. The house was literally a 30 second walk from the beach which was great for all. We were a party of 4 adults, 2 kids and a golden retriever- the home was so spacious and despite our chaos felt there was plenty of room for everyone! We saw some beautiful sunrises and there were kid and dog friendly pubs. New Biggin was also really close to some other stunning bays and beaches- creswell and druridge both so clean and gorgeous!
