A very clean, cosy, and charming cottage—actually even more delightful in person than the photos suggest. Peaceful surroundings and beautiful scenery make it a perfect getaway. Janice was very helpful and responsive to my questions. Excellent experience! Also the welcoming packet of biscuits worked miracles for getting the children in a very positive mood! Highly recommended.

We loved loved loved this place! Hoping to come back soon. The house was perfect for my family (2 adults and 2 kids). The kids loved the enclosed garden, the toys and games around the place. I loved the utility room (I know 🤦‍♀️😂), the living room space, the en-suite and the kitchen/dining space. I also really loved the location, we walked to the beach and the park each day. The whole estate was quiet and friendly. Gary was proactive in giving great (free) ideas of what we could do when the weather changed. He was friendly and helpful without interrupting our holiday. I cannot put into words how much we loved the house. There were so many lovely touches round the house (like automatic lights on the stairs) which made the house exciting to the kids. We loved this property and would definitely book it again!

Lovely spacious, clean and quiet house. Perfect for our family stay. Very comfy beds and well appointed kitchen. We were 5 adults and fitted us perfectly. Huge telly and nice sofa. Fast wifi and responsive host. Would defo stay here again and recommend both the lovely modern house and very responsive hosts.

Amanda was a lovely host. She was very responsive and helpful when we messaged. The house is deceptively big and there's plenty of room to chill and get ready for busy days. It is very well stocked with plenty of kitchen equipment for if you decide to cook at home. The beds are all doubles and they're very comfy with tonnes of blankets to keep extra cosy if you like! The area is nice with a big beach. We did find that there isn't a great lot to do, so we found ourselves driving quite a lot but if you're a walker, it would be perfect with all the coastal paths. Diamond pizza is a fab place to get a quick bite after a long day so we would definitely recommend there if you're a fan of a mucky tea! If you're wanting to explore the Northumberland coast and find yourself in Bamburgh, we would definitely recommend Creel and Reel seafood trailer for som delicious locally sourced seafood! All in all we have had a wonderful stay with our dogs and found Amanda's place the perfect getaway!

We've been to this part of the world a few times, and it's nice to have somewhere quiet, comfortable and homely to return after a busy day of exploration. Close enough to the centre of Amble for shops, restaurants etc., but also a bit apart for the peace and quiet you visit Northumberland for. We'd 100% return here.

We had such a great stay! The location is perfect with a mall across the street and lots of restaurants and shops. The host was very responsive which was nice because we got in later at night. The place was extremely clean which is super nice when on the road! I would definitely recommend!

Dawn is a lovely host with a beautiful, warm, cosy and clean home. The garden and pets are just adorable. We had a wonderful break and made good use of the pool. There are so many castles and beautiful gardens located a short drive away. Great place for families. I will be recommending this flat and hosts to my friends.

Dean's apartment was clean, comfy and just as described. The location was perfect for us visiting relatives in the area. The metro is a short walk which gave easy access to the city centre. We would recommend Dean's apartment.

Central Alnwick so perfect for us as we wanted to visit Alnwick Garden. Plenty of cafes, pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. Property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Electric heaters in each room which soon warmed the rooms up. The apartment overlooks the market place and if you’re a light sleeper may find the early morning noise an issue as well as the clock chimes 24/7. It didn’t disturb me the second night. I would definitely stay here again as it’s a great base to tour around the area from.

Really enjoyed our stay in Yvonne’s property. The flat was pristine, very spacious and the guidebooks and treats really made the difference. My mother and I would definitely return should we need accommodation in Newcastle again - thank you!

Pete's place is perfectly situated, right in the heart of Alnmouth and only a few steps from the beautiful beach. The apartment is spacious and has lovely sea views. We really appreciated the flexible early check in.

Fabulous place for peace and quiet. So close to the beach for walks with the dogs. Everywhere we walked to was really catered for dogs. Some great places to walk to on the beach. Accomodation warm and cosy just as described, host made you feel at home with nothing too much trouble. Will definitely be back.

The Beach Hideaway was perfect for my stay. Provided all that was necessary plus parking which is a must in Whitley Bay. Ideally situated to walk most local places. Ideal for a short stay, host close at hand and ensured everything was available. 👍🏻

I had a lovely stay! The place was very cozy – especially the string lights, which gave it such a warm and relaxing vibe. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The host was super friendly, easy to reach, and really flexible – I was even able to check in earlier, which I really appreciated. The neighborhood is quite nice too. Would definitely stay here again!
