A very clean, cosy, and charming cottage—actually even more delightful in person than the photos suggest. Peaceful surroundings and beautiful scenery make it a perfect getaway. Janice was very helpful and responsive to my questions. Excellent experience! Also the welcoming packet of biscuits worked miracles for getting the children in a very positive mood! Highly recommended.

We had a lovely last-minute stay in Amble with our toddler and newborn baby. The house was well-located and we walked to the harbour on the first evening for dinner. We had a lovely meal at The Old Boathouse. We also took a day trip into Alnwick which was only 20ish mins in the car. The property was nicely decorated and very clean. There was a great supply of children’s books and toys which was great for our toddler - she would have happily stayed in the house all weekend! Would recommend to families for a hub if wanting a break in Northumberland.

Amanda was a lovely host. She was very responsive and helpful when we messaged. The house is deceptively big and there's plenty of room to chill and get ready for busy days. It is very well stocked with plenty of kitchen equipment for if you decide to cook at home. The beds are all doubles and they're very comfy with tonnes of blankets to keep extra cosy if you like! The area is nice with a big beach. We did find that there isn't a great lot to do, so we found ourselves driving quite a lot but if you're a walker, it would be perfect with all the coastal paths. Diamond pizza is a fab place to get a quick bite after a long day so we would definitely recommend there if you're a fan of a mucky tea! If you're wanting to explore the Northumberland coast and find yourself in Bamburgh, we would definitely recommend Creel and Reel seafood trailer for som delicious locally sourced seafood! All in all we have had a wonderful stay with our dogs and found Amanda's place the perfect getaway!

Ideal hub for myself and kids. Very comfortable, excellent kitchen and fast broadband. Would have preferred a better parking spot as I have a large car and needed to mount full kerb to access parking. I didn’t fancy parking on street as it was adjacent to small junction. Just something to note. Aside from that, very happy. Thank you very much

Great option, suggest booking ahead to all sit down restaurants, but plenty of local places with wonderful food. Fry-Fry in Wooler our favorite. This is a good place to stay for groups of 3 or 4, travelling by car and planning to visit both the city and the beautiful countryside of Durham County. We went both to both up Weardale to the foothills of the Pennines and to the coast at Seaham on our day trip. This row-house cottage is nice, comfortable with an efficient central heating system. The kitchen/dining room is well equipped. Anthony left us both cows and Oat milk, which was nice. The only downside is that the the tiled floors are cold, if you don't have thick socks or slippers/indoor shoes with thicker soles than the hotel slip-ons that the hosts provide. Also the local pub is a bit further away than we'd assumed and is under new management and no longer serving food. However, Anthony told us about two alternate pubs offering evening meals. The most impressive was The New Board Inn at Hill Top (DH7-(9RL), which has a great Sunday evening quiz.

Great stay. Perfect location for us, we parked up and walked or got the Metro everywhere. Lisa has thought of everything and we really loved how homely the place is. Very helpful and friendly communication. Would definitely recommend.

We had a really wonderful stay, the place was so cozy and had everything we needed. Alison was so lovely and very fast to respond, she had also kindly left us tea/coffee, biscuits, cereal, milk and much more !

We stayed in this peaceful and spacious flat due to having renovations going on at our property which didn’t quite go to plan. The time we did spend in wylam was great, some lovely walks for our dog 🐶 😊Everything we needed and great for my son to work from 👍Would be more than happy to stay again

Amazing stay, felt at home and Tom couldn’t be anymore helpful. Would recommend him to anyone. We got egg from his chickens that he gave us, wood provided the first time of use and the hot was a bonus and heated up within 2 hours with the fire. Overall loved our stay and defiantly will be back to stay with TOM. Thanks again. The place was clean and easy findable with what3words.

fantastic host and what a beautiful place Danielle has got. We will certainly stay again. So handy for buses to other areas, Tynemouth is easily walkable in around 15 to 20 mins and North Shields Fish Quay is 10 mins walk away. Danielle's flat is spotlessly clean. The place is beautifully decorated to a very high standard with top notch fixtures and fittings. Every room is a very good size. it's just some comfortable; like a home from home. Would defo recommend & return.

If you are looking for a home from home in wonderful Kelso then this is it. Everything you need, right in the town, and Ken was a fantastic host. Will certainly use it again.

We had the most wonderful memorable stay at Leaholme cottages. Lynn was an amazing host, nothing was too much trouble and she went above and beyond helping with our requests for extras in the cottage . We were so grateful to check in early too. The cottage is beautiful, tastefully decorated but so welcoming, spotless and homely. Location was fantastic, we would recommend this beautiful pad to all our friends and family and will definitely be back, we thoroughy recommend. Thank you Lynn

Fabulous place for peace and quiet. So close to the beach for walks with the dogs. Everywhere we walked to was really catered for dogs. Some great places to walk to on the beach. Accomodation warm and cosy just as described, host made you feel at home with nothing too much trouble. Will definitely be back.

The apartment is on a quiet street, just a couple of minutes walk away from the seafront and situated between Cullercoats and Tynemouth village which are both within easy walking distance. Lisa and Gavin were excellent hosts, providing lots of clear information and tips, and always very responsive. Check-in was easy. The flat looks just like the pictures and is well-equipped. We had a lovely weekend in Tynemouth, would definitely recommend!

We had a great 3 night stay, to celebrate a late Christmas with my parents who live in Blyth. The apartment is gorgous, so well decorated and furnished. There was a lovely Christmas tree to greet us too. We arrived around 9.30 pm, found the key in the front lockbox and unloaded up the front stairs. Overall its a great place to stay, the only thing that would stop us staying again is our elderly dog (he's 15) is a bit too doddery for the stairs. The baby gate was a great feature, and meant we had no worries about him going down on his own. The internal stairs lead to the front door just over the road from an amazing park which was perfect for the dogs. Kids would love it too, I grew up in Blyth, such happy memories of Ridley Park!
