A very clean and private house in a beautiful setting. Perfect getaway, we thoroughly enjoyed it!

What a beautiful place to stay. The cottage was tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you would need. A wonderful splash pool and an awesome hot tub as well. A little paradise! The toiletries were a lovely touch and all the extras provided. Communication with the host was excellent and she gave us lots of local tips and suggestions.

We had a lovely stay. Sankie responded quickly, and the appartment was clean and organized. We loved the hottub and the beautiful view over the wineyards. Willem, the gardener, was very friendly as well and gave us additional advice for visiting Montagu and told us which animals frequented the area. We would definately recommend a visit.

The most beautiful and special place for our honeymoon. Brendan thought of every detail. From fresh bread and butter on our arrival, an already heated hot tub and beyond amazing amenities I can truly say we will soon visit Brendan again. Amazing pizza oven, board games, coffee and french press and wonderfully clean. A much recommended stay!!!!

Hemel op aarde, wat een heerlijke cottage op een prachtige en rustige plek. Op de tuin route een fijne afwisseling tussen diverse hotels. We genoten van het uitzicht, de rust, natuur maar ook alles wat het huisje te bieden had: goede bedden, fijne airco, de braai. We hebben 1 avond van de braai genoten en de andere avond heerlijk gegeten bij restaurant Blue vines, aanrader. Mochten we ooit weer in de buurt zijn, komen we zeker terug!!

What a wonderful place! We enjoyed every minute at the Plum cottage and would love to come back. The cottage is rustic (by design) but very clean and comfortable. Being off-grid was not a problem with a solar cellphone charging station on hand. A walk through the fruit tree plantation is a real experience early in the morning.

A Truly Magical Escape – Frog Mountain Stole Our Hearts Wow, some places truly touch your soul, and Frog Mountain is one of them. You can feel the love, care, and passion that Gabriela has poured into creating this magical retreat. Our stay was nothing short of incredible. From the joy of walking up to the labyrinth and witnessing a breathtaking sunset to the pure exhilaration of squealing down the foofy slide—every moment felt special. We loved hiking to the waterfall and rock pools, immersing ourselves in nature’s beauty. Our cozy rondavel felt like a warm hug after each day of adventure. The charm of Frog Mountain extends beyond the landscapes—it’s in the horses grazing peacefully, the cows wandering the fields, and the symphony of beautiful birdsong each morning. Swimming in the river was a refreshing delight, and every corner of this place felt like a gift to the soul. We are deeply grateful

We had a wonderful family stay at Ontevreden. The house has everything you need and more. I still cannot get over the most amazing mountain views, and peacefulness of the farm. The hosts were fabulous and answered all of our questions, as well as accomodating our requests. Thank you for the unforgettable weekend my family that we will talk about for years to come!

We had a lovely winter breakaway at the farm! Everyone at Langdam is so friendly and helpful, and made us feel right at home. The cottage we stayed at was cosy and had beautiful views of the mountains, vineyards and the dam. We were even spoiled with some snow on the mountain tops! Will definitely visit again in the summer to explore the farm a bit more.

We planned a riverside getaway with some friends and a boat. House has a lovely deck overlooking the river and floating jetty- we spend many hours there. The house itself is really well suited for a family. It has ample outdoor furniture and deck space to enjoy. The Nespresso machine was a treat. The area is safe and quiet, neighbours are close, but never felt intrusive. The house has access to a well kept slipway- launching a smallish boat with a 4x4 was pretty straight forward. Reaching the house with a 2x4 is possible, but would recommend using a 4x4.

Great location and views. The place is comfortable with everything needed as described, it does however need a little TLC and general maintenance on things like loose taps, wonky outside braai (broken wheels), etc

LOVED our 3day stay, could have stayed a week. Beautiful surroundings, we loved sitting on the grass looking out on the dam. comfortable beds, had all aminities for a weekend away. our dogs loved swimming in the dam. perfect break away for the weekend. we also booked the cottage next door, a perfect group away setting.

We had a really wonderful stay at the cottage. The view from the balcony is so amazing 😍 And the cottage itself is full of art and character. Really feels like a proper home which my husband and I prefer over the more soulless Airbnb's we stayed at in the past.

Lonette has created a warm home to share and her garden is stunning. Kitchen is well equipped , beds are comfortable and the air conditioning in the bedrooms is excellent. Communication was always quick and helpful

Jenny's Cottage is located right outside the entrance of the Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve, making it the perfect getaway if you want to immersive yourself in nature. The space was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you'll need for your stay. Aileen was a great host - she was friendly and responsive and gave us many great recommendations of things to do and see in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war unglaublich idyllisch und die kleine Hütte ist total gemütlich. Abends hört man die Grillen und die Vögel. Man ist wie in einer anderen Welt und kann komplett abschalten. Madeleine und ihr Mann sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Da die Unterkunft sehr abgelegen ist, muss man viel Schotterpiste fahren. Wir hatten aber mit einem einfachen kleinen Auto ohne 4x4 keine Probleme. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

We enjoyed our stay at Anel’s charming rustic cottage. Loved the outdoor area and all the lush greenery. The pool table added a fun element to our night. Anel was very responsive and a great host.

A Perfect pocket of Heaven on Earth - Everything you need and more - Romantic, waking up to the view of mountains from your window, the beauty of the Vineyard and of course their Chardonnay is delightful. Henk was amazing - accommodating, super friendly and has great insight into the history on the region and the perfect Coffee Spots to visit. We will most definitely be visiting again!

Das beste guesthouse auf unserer garden route. Ein wahres Paradies. Das Haus hat eine wunderbare Atmosphäre längst vergangener Tage, mit allerdings zeitgemäßer höchster Ausstattung. Schöner und besser als es beschrieben war. Wir waren zwei Nächte und hätten gerne noch länger verweilt. Das Cottage ist so großzügig, die gesamte Anlage bestens gepflegt und das Frühstück die Garantie für einen gelungenen Tagesbeginn. Einfach uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert mit garantiertem Erholungswert. Perfekt 😍

The Cowshed provided a much-needed breather after a busy year and the complete privacy and peace was very welcomed. It had everything needed in the well-stocked kitchen and the little plunge pool was the cherry on the top!  Sandra was a wonderful host who kept me informed of happenings in the village, but otherwise respected my need for solitude

My friends and I had an amazing stay at Kim's Karee Cottage. The cottage felt so cosy and was styled so well. The whole place was stunning. We loved the front garden and the outdoor seating and the pool was gorgeous. It was a very peaceful weekend and I would go back every month if I could! Highly recommend!

The place is lovely and well equipped for a get away. It’s private and surrounded with lots of trees. We specially loved the pomegranate and passion fruit trees 💛 The host is so helpful and responsive. We were very pleased to have spent a couple of days there.
