Beautiful place on a pretty working farm. The accommodation is private, modern and has all the necessary facilities. Loved the extra small touches. There’s so much to do on the property itself. We would go back!

Had a lovely stay here with my family. The location is extremely scenic but also an easy walk to the main town of Swellendam for restaurants and supermarkets. The outside area of this home is fantastic- the stoep and pool area are amazing for warm days as well as one day it was raining here we sat out in perfect comfort watching the storm. Inside was incredible clean and spacious- the kitchen extremely well equipped for both braais and oven/stove cooking. Lynette was a fantastic host- proactive before our stay and responsive throughout!

Heleen’s farmhouse is a very extraordinary place. It is very calm and peaceful and only surrounded by fields. We enjoyed the quietness so much. Also the hot tub was a highlight. The farmhouse is well equipped and spacious. It is a great place to visit the de hoop nature reserve. We could definitely recommend the place, especially for quite-seekers and nature lovers. It was a great experience! Heleen was a great host and always supportive.

If you are looking to get away from it all, have total silence except the wind and sound of birds and just unwind them this is the place. The house is rustic and has so many interesting bits and pieces, rich in history. The wifi works and the beds are super comfy. Splash pool was a blessing but the piece and tranquiliy, the amazing views, sunrises and sunsets. A beautiful place to find your soul. A truly wonderful experience.

I was very happy with my stay at The Old School. I found it very peaceful, surrounded by a beautiful wildness on the edge of a Nature Reserve. The village of McGregor provided good food and service. It was lovely meeting Amelia and I found her very easy to talk to.

My family and I were blown away by Napier and the accommodation at Jenni's place. When we saw the pictures, we thought we were getting a simple stop over apartment, but the pictures don't do justice to what we were greeted by. The apartment is very spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. Jenni and Peter went out of their way to make our kids comfortable as well. There is an amazing sense of peace when staying at this apartment in Napier. Thank you Jenni and Peter.

Nous avons été enchantés de notre séjour à Mac Gregor. Arrivés un peu par hasard dans le coin, aucun regret ! Le village est entouré de montagnes magnifiques, permettant de jolies balades. Mais encore plus : nous avons beaucoup apprécié de poser nos valises à « The Old School » (adorable jardin fleuri, intérieur décoré avec goût, bien équipé…) Bref si nous devions revenir dans la région nous retournerions les yeux fermés ici !

Jim was extremely accommodating and friendly, especially on a late notice booking. Accommodation with beautiful mountains and scenery. A great place if you’re a fan of horses.

This Airbnb stay with CJ and Anna in Robertson has been my absolute best experience by far! From the seamless booking process to a smooth check-in, every step was perfectly organized. The accommodation itself was pristine, boasting hotel-quality furniture, bedding, and decor. As a bonus, they offered cleaning services, which added an extra layer of convenience. Working remotely, I deeply appreciated the quiet environment, speedy internet, and the comforting air conditioning. CJ and Anna's hospitality was exceptional. On my first night, tired of road food, I was delightfully surprised with a home-cooked meal, making me feel instantly at home. Their kindness didn't stop there. When I faced a transportation issue with no one to call, CJ and Anna went out of their way to assist me—truly going above and beyond for their guest. I'm already planning my return trip to Robertson, and there's no question about where I'll be staying. A heartfelt thank you to CJ and Anna!

We loved our stay. the setting is amazing and the accomodation was spot on. Really enjoyed having two areas to relax outside - one close to the fire pit and one at the front of the cottage. All the essentials you need are there and the views are beautiful.

Really awesome overnight accommodation! We loved the spacious layout of the room, the comfortable bed and all the thoughtful attention to details which enhanced our stay. Thank you for the bowl of fresh fruit, milk, rusks & delicious Jerepigo! Relaxing in the cut out bath chairs around the fire pit area that evening gazing at the stars and enjoying the view over the orchards with the mountains all around and then watching the glorious sunrise in the morning, makes this short stay memorable! Thank you Jacqueline for being an absolutely gracious super host.

The tiny house was a delightful stay. It was clean, beautifully furnished, and located in a fantastic spot, making it perfect for exploring the area. The only thing missing for us was Wi-Fi.

Had a lovely stay in the cottage. You are really out in the middle of nowhere, it is quite peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views around and the stars at night were spectacular. The included game drive was great! We saw giraffes, springbok, wildebeast and some antelope on the drive. We also saw zebras while driving on our way out. The bathtub was massive. Nice towels and robes as well. We used the pizza oven and braai and enjoyed the semi catered package. Note - there were a fair amount of flies in and around the cottage and they were quite annoying but bugs were expected with the remote location. I recommend taking a SUV vs a car when driving there.

The White House was a perfect weekend getaway from the city and exactly the technology and cell phone detox needed! Totally accessible by normal car as clearly stated by the host - the property is beautiful to walk around and well marked. The house itself had everything needed to cook, clean, braai, relax and everything in between. The hot tub was amazing to sit and relax in and watch the stars go by at night! Reminder to bring bug spray though! Was amazing to wake up in the morning with the blinds up and see the landscape. Will definitely be back!

A beautiful, off the beaten track stay and very flexible check in and out which made for a relaxing stay.

Great stay , amazing place in nature. Loved the fact that we could be “noisy” and ourselves. We even had the pleasure of seeing a bokkie/kid eating berries infront of the house! Would be even more amazing if they add a hot tub. All in all it was so worth the drive from CPT
