This is already our fourth time staying in Rigby's beautiful house. It is wonderfully located on the golf course, offering a peaceful atmosphere. It's a great starting point for many activities. Rigby and Jean-André are always easily reachable. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Elmarie is a wonderful hostess, the house is beautiful, even better than the photos. Everything was perfect!

Das Haus ist direkt am Meer. Wir genossen den Ausblick sehr und die ruhige Lage. Das Haus ist super goldig eingerichtet, direkt zum wohlfühlen. Die Kommunikation mit der Besitzerlin war super! Sehr zu empfehlen zum Entspannen am Strand, wenn man Glück hat Delphine morgens beobachten...alles wunderbar!

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the place, with a lovely view over the dam and surrounding mountains. Beds were super comfortable and and the house was lovely. Thank you Yvette for your thorough instructions how to get there and following up to see if all was well. We hope to be back soon again.

Had a lovely stay here with my family. The location is extremely scenic but also an easy walk to the main town of Swellendam for restaurants and supermarkets. The outside area of this home is fantastic- the stoep and pool area are amazing for warm days as well as one day it was raining here we sat out in perfect comfort watching the storm. Inside was incredible clean and spacious- the kitchen extremely well equipped for both braais and oven/stove cooking. Lynette was a fantastic host- proactive before our stay and responsive throughout!

Heleen’s farmhouse is a very extraordinary place. It is very calm and peaceful and only surrounded by fields. We enjoyed the quietness so much. Also the hot tub was a highlight. The farmhouse is well equipped and spacious. It is a great place to visit the de hoop nature reserve. We could definitely recommend the place, especially for quite-seekers and nature lovers. It was a great experience! Heleen was a great host and always supportive.

Geeignet für jemanden der Ruhe und Erholung sucht. Witsand hat einen traumhaften Strand, der in unmittelbarer fußläufiger Nähe ist. Der Gastgeber, Anton, war äußerst aufmerksam. Er hat uns Restaurants genannt und ein Menü mit leckerem Back-Fisch nebst selbst eingelegten Oliven und roter Beete bereitet. Wir haben uns bei ihm sehr wohl gefühlt.

Lovely property in a safe resort style complex right on the mouth of the river. Care and attention has gone into renovating and maximising the space. Amazing sunset views from the balcony and a bar/restaurant on site although a others locally are worth exploring. Further afield we really enjoyed and afternoon outing to Malgas using the river ferry. Communication with Celeste during our stay and check-in-out we’re all great.

Great place with AMAZING views. A bit dated as many places in SA and the wind is very noisy whistling through windows and doors. Would happily stay again and great for a group of friends or family who fish or kitesurf.

Comfortable, clean and spacious accommodation. Great location with easy access to the beach where there is also a good restaurant. The only comment I would make is that both the apartment and garden would profit from a bit more colour as greys rather dominate. Marianna is a very friendly, attentive and kind host. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and the location is hard to beat.

We loved our stay. the setting is amazing and the accomodation was spot on. Really enjoyed having two areas to relax outside - one close to the fire pit and one at the front of the cottage. All the essentials you need are there and the views are beautiful.

The airbnb is in such a beautiful and peaceful location. The bed was very comfy and the hosts had lots of small touches to make the stay unique.

Spent the first three weeks of 2025 on Danielle's beautiful farm. What a wonderful, peaceful way to start the year.

We were 2 couples who stayed at this property for 2 nights. I wish it could have been longer. It was absolutely wonderful. The view to the mountains from the house and proximity to hiking on the neighbouring Marlouth reserve was what sold the property to us...but we were so delighted with the beautiful, thoughtful and comfortable furnishings that it was hard to leave the house. The pool was the perfect place to cool off and we made a braai each night, eating out as the stars came out over the valley. Tip: purchase the braai meat that is offered as an extra - it is fantastic!!! Note - there is a microwave and a 2 plate gas hob but no oven (plan menu accordingly).

Could not have been happier! Would highly reccommened this get-a-way!

We had the most amazing time staying at Susan’s place in McGregor—honestly, this house and its grounds are straight out of a Pinterest board, but with better Wi-Fi. One of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in—it truly felt like home. The location is so peaceful. And the night sky? It was like the universe was flexing its stars just for us. Now, I’d give this place a solid 10/10, but… the pool had a little surprise for us. When we uncovered it, it was more green lagoon than refreshing oasis. With all the sunshine on offer, we were hoping for a dip, but instead, we tried to play pool cleaners for the night. Sadly, our efforts to make it swimmable by night two didn’t really work out. Still, would 100% come back…

My wife and I have been traveling to globe for a year now and rarely do we find an Airbnb that fits the description; “truly awesome!!”. This home, set in a fig and pecan orchard (and stunning garden), has commanding views of the mountains surrounding Montagu. The pool and BBQ area are simply wonderful. The house is beautifully furnished with two stunning bedrooms en suite. Thank you, Michele and Martin for a truly amazing experience. We’ll certainly be back.

We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful house. Megan and Mike were incredibly welcoming. The house was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped and the living and dining areas were perfect for our party of ten. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with fantastic hosts.

Absolutely beautiful. The hosts were super responsive, friendly and so helpful. We adored the house, it’s very stylish and homely. The surroundings are fantastic. We went to the Karoo Art hotel for a G&T and relaxed at the house. I did yoga on the stunning deck by the pool in the morning and then we went for a lovely swim in the river. It’s a wonderful place and I’d highly recommend. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home. Hope to come again. ❤️
