Wonderful calm and special place with beautiful and thought-through interior design! Even though we didn’t have one of the houses with a pool, we had an awesome time with hiking and swimming in the lake close by.

The place is comfortable and spacious and we had a great time. Particularly appreciated the modern and spacious fridge as we needed to store a lot of food for the weekend :) The garden is amazing and the pool was great if a bit cold.

Beautiful place on a pretty working farm. The accommodation is private, modern and has all the necessary facilities. Loved the extra small touches. There’s so much to do on the property itself. We would go back!

We loved our stay, the house is lovely and well equipped. The location is super! Host is super considerate and checking in and out was easy. I will definitely be back. I would recommend car with high clearance!

Heleen’s farmhouse is a very extraordinary place. It is very calm and peaceful and only surrounded by fields. We enjoyed the quietness so much. Also the hot tub was a highlight. The farmhouse is well equipped and spacious. It is a great place to visit the de hoop nature reserve. We could definitely recommend the place, especially for quite-seekers and nature lovers. It was a great experience! Heleen was a great host and always supportive.

Skyroo is a truly special and exceptionally beautiful place. The Gemsbok villa is amazing, you have absolutely everything you need and the hot tub is a great little something extra. The setting is spectacular and don't forget to look up on a clear night as the stars will take your breath away.

We had a wonderful stay and especially enjoyed the facilities and the hot tub. Suggest a side table next to the double bed😊

Wat een fantastisch verblijf. Het huisje was perfect en ruimer dan verwacht. Ook de tuin achter was onverwacht. Heel erg fijn ontvangst. We hebben echt genoten. De hottub stond klaar en het babybedje ook. Zouden hier zeker nog een keer terugkomen!

we loved it. here you really get down to gear, we enjoyed the view and the surroundings. fantastic nature wherever you look. the hosts were super friendly and helpful. we stayed two nights but would definitely recommend more nights so that you can really get all the impressions.

We had the most amazing time staying at Susan’s place in McGregor—honestly, this house and its grounds are straight out of a Pinterest board, but with better Wi-Fi. One of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in—it truly felt like home. The location is so peaceful. And the night sky? It was like the universe was flexing its stars just for us. Now, I’d give this place a solid 10/10, but… the pool had a little surprise for us. When we uncovered it, it was more green lagoon than refreshing oasis. With all the sunshine on offer, we were hoping for a dip, but instead, we tried to play pool cleaners for the night. Sadly, our efforts to make it swimmable by night two didn’t really work out. Still, would 100% come back…

One of the best stays we have had. Attention to detail and homeliness is unmatched. Quiet, peaceful and serene. Beautiful sunsets and surrounds. Hosts are quick to respond and helpful. Had the best time relaxing in the hot pool, cooking in the well kitted kitchen and enjoying the Braai outside. Would highly recommend for a romantic trip or anniversary celebration.

It was really an awesome stay for me and my wife. We could really switch off and just enjoy the location. 100% would go again!

The White House was a perfect weekend getaway from the city and exactly the technology and cell phone detox needed! Totally accessible by normal car as clearly stated by the host - the property is beautiful to walk around and well marked. The house itself had everything needed to cook, clean, braai, relax and everything in between. The hot tub was amazing to sit and relax in and watch the stars go by at night! Reminder to bring bug spray though! Was amazing to wake up in the morning with the blinds up and see the landscape. Will definitely be back!

Wow!!! What a gem of a place!! Unbelievable location and surroundings. This is definitely the place to go to when you want to get out of the city. The owners are just as nice as this place is beautiful. We will definitely be back. I also hope you get to meet Japie - kind soul who loves lamp tjops :) And go find the waterfall!!!!

Tolle Unterkunft in einer sehr schönen Anlage und Umgebung. Obwohl wir leider überlesen haben, dass keine Handtücher vorhanden sind, konnte uns Kathryn trotzdem schnell und unkompliziert weiter helfen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

What a wonderful spot. Visited with my boys & had an absolute blast. Such fun activities, walking and swimming. Absolutely beautiful!

Wir sind immer noch ganz beseelt von unserem 3 tägigen Aufenthalt in dem tiny house von Susan. Die Lage und die Aussicht waren perfekt, um sofort zu entspannten. Der mit Holz beheizbare private Pool war dazu dann noch das ultimative Highlight! Einen Abend haben wir auf dem riesigen Grill bei Sonnenuntergang Braai gemacht, auch hierfür war alles vorhanden. Susan hat mit der Unterkunft, die blitzsauber und stylisch eingerichtet war, etwas ganz besonderes geschaffen. Sie selbst war so herzlich und zuvorkommend (sie ließ uns sogar Öl zum Verwenden des Airfryers, dessen Benutzung wir absolut empfehlen können, noch zukommen, damit wir nicht noch einmal zum einkaufen fahren mussten). Es war der schönste Aufenthalt über Airbnb, den wir gebucht haben! Und wir waren schon sehr viel unterwegs :) Wir sind unendlich dankbar für diese wundervollen Tage, die wir nicht so schnell vergessen werden! Ps: wenn man sein Auge offen hält, kann man mit etwas Glück wirklich Ribboks erspähen! :)
