Beautiful home in lush surroundings. Kirstin and Julian are excellent hosts and the property served us well. The lovely warm pool, the beautiful lawns and stunning views, together with the close proximity to Palm Beach, Whale Beach and Avalon town centre made our family get away memorable

Very good location. We liked the pool, two bethrooms, clean bath with a window and the free parking in front of the appartment. All in all very good and a big thanks!!

Great home, simple with all the basics that you need for a family trip. Conveniently walkable location to supermarket and parks, and a good base to stay at if you are visiting Blue Mountains and Sydney in one trip. Accurate listing and photos were a great positive!

What a beautiful paradise to spend a 4 night family reunion/birthday celebration. A couple of teething problems noted after the first night were addressed promptly where possible. Note bedroom 3 on 1st floor and the loft did not have central aircon vents which made night 1 uncomfortable for some of our guests, especially given a very hot day earlier (keeping blinds upstairs closed during the day helped). Lovely linen; beds & pillows extremely comfortable! Great break out spaces. Kitchen well appointed and equipped. Great backyard and pool. Very close to North and South Avalon beaches and a short flat walk to an extensive shopping precinct. The icy bottled water provided, and extra beach towels were welcome. The dining table with 6 chairs was not sufficient for a maximum 12 house guests (note there is a small table and 4 chairs in the garage which could perhaps extend the dining space, but we didn’t see them until the last day). Overall, a stunning, atmospheric home for a large group.

Curl Curl is one of the best beaches in Sydney. The view of it from the house is incredible! We really enjoyed our stay, and had plenty of space for our large family. We loved the extra touches, like comfortable sitting places on the veranda. We love music, so finding bluetooth speakers available to connect to and listen was - for us - a very thoughtful touch. The location was great too. If you want to spend your days on the beach, this house is the perfect launching point. Besides Curl Curl, it is a short drive to Freshwater Beach, where you'll find loads of restaurants and shops (and another incredible beach). Having a nice pool was another big bonus for us. Our kids never want to leave the beach, but it's easy to convince them to head home, if we have a pool to offer them. We were sad to leave but know we'll be back for sure.

John was so friendly and helpful from booking throughout our stay. He was always available when we needed him and sorted any problems we had very quickly. He gave us great recommendations about public transport and local coffee shops, beach walks and local attractions. His house and pool were in a great location for us as we were visiting family. John lives in the house and had moved out for our stay, so there were a lot of personal items around his home. The pool was a lovely extra, however it turned out to be hard work! It had to be cleared of debris every day due to the surrounding greenery and while we were told someone would attend the pool at least once a week, we had two visits in 4 weeks only to top up PH decreaser and possibly chlorine? The “donger”/ pool hoover seemed useless and went round in circles most of the time. The pool was grubby by the end of our trip with mould/algae around the steps at the far end and we had no idea how to clean or reverse this. Great holiday!

Beautiful family home that was absolutely perfect for our family holiday. The rooms were large enough, comfy beds and a great outdoor space with the pool to top it all off! Location is tops, only a few minutes walk to town and easy to get around. Laura was a wonderful host, nothing was a hassle.

Duncan’s apartment was perfect for us with all amenities we needed for a 10 day stay, in a secure complex. Lovely decor, super comfortable bed and sofa, well equipped kitchen. Location convenient to Kings Cross train station and buses. Restaurants abound in this charming neighbourhood. A short walk to the city, harbour and many tourist attractions. Duncan was a considerate and proactive host.

The apartment was a great base for our weekend in Sydney. The location is perfect in amongst all the Olympic Park facilities!

The apartment was exactly as expected with Brendan's communication for check in and any other info excellent. We were 2 adults, 2 children and the place didn't feel crowded. Arcade machines kept me out of the misuses hair once the kids were in bed. Would recommend and stay again as location is great for city access and Tumbalong Park is close which has everything the kids needed. (waterplay and playground)

Ideally located and very comfortable. This was the perfect spot for our beachside holiday - with not one but four beautiful beaches within short walking distance! Surprisingly peaceful with a private outdoor area complete with handy bbq. We loved the wide selection of local food on offer - Maritje’s recommendations were spot on 👍 The apartment had all that we needed plus the local corner store was literally a minute away. So grateful for this summer getaway 😎⛱️☀️

Sehr gut gelegene kleine Wohnung mit tollem Blick auf das Wasser. Sehr herzlicher Empfang von Robyn. Auf dem Dach ist ein kleiner Pool mit Blick über die Stadt, wir haben abends auf der sehr großen Dachterasse gerne mit einem Glas Wein gesessen und über die Skyline und das Wasser geschaut aber genau so fasziniert einer Gruppe laut schnatternder Kakadus in den Bäumen vor dem Haus zugesehen. Der Bus hält direkt vor dem Haus, zur U Bahn kann man in 15 min gehen, trotzdem sehr ruhige Gegend, ein sehr schöner Park am Wasser ist 5 min entfernt. Kleine aber feine Wohnung, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Location was great. We could easily walk or transit to wherever we were headed. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We loved the pool and hot tub area.

The stay at Bradley’s place was fantastic. It was centrally located, and an easy base to get around Sydney, with many local Cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from. The rooftop pool was amazing on hot days with unbeatable views. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and all communications were extremely easy with check in and check out easy and flexible. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Best Air B&B experience we’ve ever had, perched above the treetops of the nature reserve, at Avalon Horizons.

Great place, great location, and great host. Great for a family. They were very responsive and great hosts. Walkable to beach and train. Highly recommend.

Our stay was magical! We had 3 families (a total of 10) staying at Leanne’s home and never felt crowded. Lots of space for everyone who wanted their own private retreat. We had ages from 10 to 80. All (especially the kids) enjoyed the large pool! The kitchen was fully equipped and appliances were upgraded. We’re so happy we chose Dee Why. It was perfect! Beautiful walkable beach, lots to do & see, good restaurants and a lot less crowded than Manly. Everyone in our family raved about the house & its convenient location. Leanne was a warm & wonderful host!! Kudos all around!!!

This is by far the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in! The view is perfect, the pool is a great addition and very private. Close to shops ane cafes 10/10
