This place is amazing. The house is magnificent, amazing design with so much outdoor space. The kitchen opens onto the verandah where I spent most of my time sitting on the outdoor couches watching the birds. There is ample space for a number of people. The view out to the lake is peaceful & the trees & gardens around the house attract multiple birds & butterflies. The area was a little bit noisy at times with boat/vehicle noise but I guess that's to be expected with that location on the lake. Communication with the host Cassi was easy & responsive & staying at the house felt relaxed & casual with not too many strict house rules. The house was easy to live in & felt very comfortable. Overall a wonderful stay.

Our two families had a wonderful stay at The Lake House. The pontoon entertained our young sons ALL weekend! They loved it. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and taking in the great view. The house was perfect for two families with two bathrooms. Great kitchen facilities overlooking the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful little piece of paradise. Short stroll to the lake. Short drive to the town centre. Comfortably housed our little family. It was cold and rainy the whole time but the space provided us with a warm home to come back to. Definitely would stay again.

Our stay was so relaxing, beautiful location with a lot of activity options. A lot of lovely wildlife visiting and easy boat access. The house was very comfortable for 8 guests, both inside and out. The lake side area was very comfortable, shady and a lot of seating which made the days extra relaxing. Quiet and private.

We very much enjoyed staying at this unique and beautiful home sitting right on Lake Barrine. We would have liked to have more time to settle in to the calm and peaceful surrounds but we were just there for the weekend. The property and setting is absolutely lovely and watching the many weather changes come and go as the kookaburras, pelicans and other waterbirds come out to play was truly awesome and very relaxing. What a wonderful, peaceful stay! Surrounded by green trees and garden with local birdlife. Very comfortable home with many relaxing lounges to chill. Great entertainment system enjoyed by adults and children alike! Highly recommend for a peaceful stay.
