Our stay at Lugar das Letras was nothing short of magical. This beautifully restored house, once an old school, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards—a true feast for the eyes. The rooms and bedrooms were incredibly comfortable, thoughtfully designed to make us feel at home. But what made our experience truly unforgettable were Carla and Paula, the two wonderful ladies who took care of every detail. Every morning, they prepared a memorable breakfast for our entire family, filled with warmth and care. Their kindness and hospitality turned our stay into a dream. We can’t wait to return to this little slice of paradise in the Douro Valley. Highly recommended!

This is such a beautiful, peaceful place. The wood fire was great when we had rainy cool weather, and it absolutely sparkles in the sunshine. Lots of small roads and trails for walking and the wood grill made delicious meals. The grocery store in Armamar is a quick drive and the wineries are also close. I hope we can return.

This place was incredible. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, it was perfect. Such a kind host and farm manager, beautiful and peaceful surroundings, and convenient to all things in the Douro Valley. I would stay at this place again in a second. Definitely worth it!

Excelente estadia no Douro neste alojamento, num ambiente calmo e simpático. Antonio o proprietário da casa é bastante disponível e simpático. A casa estava extremamente limpa e é muito bem equipada. Tudo corresponde á descrição do anúncio. Iremos guardar esta morada para uma futura estadia no Douro. Recomendo este alojamento sem hesitação.

We had the perfect stay in Teresa apartment! The apartment is beautiful! we had everything we needed and more. Teresa was so nice and caring and available for every question we had. We will definitely come back!

MERVEILLEUX ! un lieu idyllique et apaisant avec des hôtes qui ont à cœur de bien recevoir . remplis d'attention au quotidien et une gentillesse hors pair . sejour exceptionnel. merci Bruno et Cristina pour votre acceuil . et bonjour à José qui est venue plusieurs fois nous saluer et discuter avec nous . milles merci ❤️

A casa é linda, está super bem decorada e com uma paisagem envolvente de tirar o folgo. Acordava bem cedo para me sentar na mesa que está lá fora para me deliciar com a paisagem e com o sossego e calma que essa mesma paisagem nos transmite. Fica a 1,2kms do centro de Tabuaço, que tem vários restaurantes e pastelarias.. Fica ainda relativamente perto de várias localidades, como Armamar ou Moimenta da Beira, Peso da Régua ou Pinhão. O único senão foi anunciar que tem máquina de café e ela não funcionar. A cozinha está equipada e a casa de banho estava limpa. Recomendo e voltarei quando tal me for possível

Laurence and Jorge’s home provided a peaceful and beautiful escape in the Douro valley! The surrounding village is small and quaint with lovely views around every corner. The roads are winding, skinny and steep - no different from any other small town or city in Portugal. The home was impeccably clean, the Murphy bed surprisingly comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. A fantastic spot!

Le lieu est très agréable et très propre. La décoration est superbe.L’équipement est très complet. Nous avons apprécié la piscine le billard le four à pizza … Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en famille. Marco est toujours à l’écoute et nous répond toujours rapidement.

très belle maison où nous avons passé un excellent séjour entre amis et famille. Salles de bain dans chaque chambre, piscine, tous pour passer de bonnes vacances. propriétaires accueillants et très disponibles. je reviendrai avec grand plaisir.

Très belle petite maison, le village est magnifique avec de beau point de vue. Merci aux hôtes pour les petites attentions et vos conseilles sur le portugal Nous recommandons le refuge d’Anita

We could not have been happier during our time staying at Maria's place. The entire property was gorgeous, with sweeping views of the Douro valley from almost every corner of the property. Although there is little in walking distance (one winery/Port house was walkable) the town is not far away and we really didn't want to leave the property anyway. There was a cozy fireplace at night in the living room, and a patio where we spent the evenings watching sunset and having dinner. The beds and couches were comfy as well. If we could've stayed forever, we would have.
