Fantastic peaceful stay in a beautifully located area. The accomodation was everything we hoped for from the details given on the website. The owners were friendly and responsive to any questions we had. Detailed instructions were at the property for everything and Joe came to meet us to explain everything in more detail. Even how to get the fire going to enable the heating to work. They even came by each day to check the hot tub and set the fire up ready to light it when we came back Every detail was thought of within the property from milk in the fridge to board games We loved the geese and ducks on site We loved the hot tub and sauna room too The local pub and food recommendations and local places to visit were greatly appreciated too We would highly recommend this place to friends/family who want to get away from it all and totally relax with the benefit of being a short drive to nearby towns and visitor attractions if you need that too

What a wonderful place to stay. The house itself has a very welcoming vibe and upon entering the property it smelt divine! It is set up so that the whole family can have fun together. It’s in a great location - we went to the the ape and monkey sanctuary, LC Leisure water park and plantasia indoor zoo. The children aged 4-9yrs had such a great time. They talked about it all on the way home. The house is across 3 floors so means everyone stays in shape too ☺️. There are heavy fire doors so anyone with little children just needs to be mindful of fingers, but we had no issues. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to give our children such a wonderful experience in Wales. Thank you so much Diane and Emma for making our stay so special!

The Coach House was beautiful, stunning inside and out.. Private secluded hot tub.. A lot of information on local area and things to do.. Nice little breakfast treats left for us and some fresh flowers.. Definitely would recommend staying here for a get away.. Thank you Joy x

Group of us had great time in Hen Beudy. The place is exactly what we needed for trail running race in the area over the weekend. Very spacious house with lots of room, its warm, practical and clean with downstairs hard flooring. Relaxing in hot tub while watching green surroundings was lush after running those hills. It is in very peaceful location with no other houses just the forest so very quiet. Plenty to do in the area, weekend is not long enough. Phil and Debbie are great hosts, they made sure we had everything we needed. Would love to go back to stay there again.

We had a lovely overnight stay. The local walks were beautiful and it was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was great - ready to use straight away and very clean. beautiful bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. Hosts were easy to communicate with and I'd happily stay again. Yhank you!

Thank you for allowing us to stay in this lovely cottage, it's central to the village so walkable to everything. Chip Shop next door but don't be put off you couldn't tell and it's great food. Walking is fabulous and Britannia and Horse Shoe Inn are brilliant.

We had an amazing stay at Dave’s place, we were able to have an early check in and a late checkout. Dave was super responsive before and during our stay and we had everything that we needed and the best part is that there was enough space for the whole family and the dogs loved roaming around the private and secure garden. We absolutely loved our stay & we would be back again in a heartbeat! ❤️

Our second visit to the very lovely Garden View cottage. Jane and Laura give great thought to all the details, making us feel so welcome. Extras like fresh flowers and tea time treats with milk on arrival make it all the more special. Extremely comfortable and well thought out - their home is designed with warm and relaxing colours, with lovely pops of brightness making it a great place to unwind. The choice of three places to sit inside - dining, sitting or sunroom - is a real bonus of a one bedroom cottage; and if the weather allows a choice of two more outside options! Jane is very responsive, helpful and near by, but not obtrusive at all. It's a pretty location in the old part of town, near amenities and a choice of beautiful walks. A great base to explore the area, only 30 mins walk to the coast and magnificent views. Highly recommend.

Good place, probably nicer than the photos. It's not luxurious but it's good value, easy to stay there, facilities all in good nick etc. Would recommend.

Lovely cottage to base ourselves for the waterfalls walk and exploring the local area. Cottage was well equipped, comfy and very clean. We had a great stay. Shower is amazing!!!

Beautiful and peaceful. So comfortable and relaxing

A perfect cottage for a couple with a dog- the secure garden with grass was a great bonus. Everything was thought of to make travelling with a dog easy and welcome. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our evening meals and the Welsh Cakes were a lovely local touch. The bed is comfy with a good range of pillows. We made the most of being close to the beach and the valleys, exploring the local areas.

Heidi's place was lovely to stay in- it was very clean, tidy and looked wonderful. The location was great as there were many attractions nearby. We would definitely recommend it.

The accommodation was amazing, we wanted a getaway from reality for us and our little kittens and we did exactly that, we loved it. The donkeys, cats, dogs etc are all so loving and caring we would 1000% go again.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is in a beautiful location with amazing views. We were worried about the road to the house as it was long and steep but excellent instructions really helped and both our cars got right to the top. One of our cars was electric and low too! The house was cosy and homely and sitting by the log fire in the evening was a real treat. We went for a walk from the cottage and saw even more amazing views. About an hour's drive away were also some beautiful waterfalls. It is a perfect location if you like to get away from it all, enjoy being surrounded by nature but still have the comforts of a warm and welcoming house.

Victoria was a great host, she very quickly responded to our queries and had great recommendations for the local area. The house was lovely - clean and tidy and very relaxing. It was also a great location for all our fossil hunting exploits!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hendre Bolon in April. The cottage is in a stunning location; very remote but incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The cottage is lovely - very sympathetically renovated with everything you could need (and v comfortable beds!). Dunc was really helpful - we had one minor issue with the Nest early on but Dunc got this sorted very quickly for us. Really couldn’t fault our stay in this fantastic cottage in such a beautiful part of the country. Thank you!

We were in the area for a family event so didn’t really get time for local walks, but the farm was lovely and Acorn Cottage was cosy but bright, well furnished, great kitchen space and nice big showers. We would definitely go back if we were in the area.

Sean was a delightful host with everything well thought out in the property. The home was newly renovated but still had the charm of a cottage and the local area. Plenty of space for 6 to stay. Minutes from a major supermarket but the home itself is in a small little town that has a corner store. I highly recommend this property. Thank you for hosting us from Australia.

This is the best self contained accommodation we have ever stayed on anywhere in the world! The place is spotless, furnished comfortably and in keeping with the character of the cottage, with everything you might need on hand. It is just such an easy and lovely place to be. We would encourage anyone visiting this area to stay here without hesitation!

Comfy and cosy, this is the perfect base for a family gathering and exploring the stunning Brecon Beacons. With three cottages, each group can enjoy their own space and privacy, yet the largest cottage has plenty of crockery and cutlery as well as a huge dining table so everyone can come together for meals. The outdoor BBQ and fire pit make for ideal family gatherings under the stars, too. It's wonderfully peaceful here, with only the sounds of the babbling brook, yet just a short walk away from the stunning Crai Reservoir. Nicola and Ray (and Patrick and Doris) are incredibly welcoming. Thank you both for the happy memories you helped us create. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to return some day!
