This apartment was a beautiful little escape. Right on the beach, lovely view and although the weather and wind wasn't playing the game the deck wassheltered so we were still able to enjoy it. We had all the amenities we needed and a comfy bed too. We will be booking again 😊

Bronwyn's place was better than what it looks in the pictures. It is very quiet with views of the waves crashing on the beach, and many sheep and cows grazing at the neighbour's land. The kitchen was adequate as we had no issues cooking all our meals. The fireplace and electric blankets kept us warm at night.

Heerlijke ruime cottage met een geweldig uitzicht! De twee grote terrassen zijn een genot om in de ochtend of avond zon te zitten. Voor ons was het de perfecte uitvalsbasis om de Catlins te ontdekken. De communicatie met Hilary was goed en de ontvangst heel hartelijk.

We picked the place for the chance of minimum light pollution to admire the starry sky and it didn’t disappoint us. This place is so remote, it’s such a charm in case you just need to go “away” for some time. Being a perfect hangout for kicking back and daze off, it is not too far away from many interesting trails. The three alpacas are absolutely adorable.

We really enjoyed staying at Niagara Ridge Retreat. The house was comfortable, view was amazing, and we liked the location.

Our family of four stayed three nights here and loved it! The house is a comfortable space to relax after busy days exploring the Catlins. Quiet and peaceful, with native birds in the garden and a view of the lighthouse. The kitchen is well equipped, comfy beds, and we loved all the board games and books. The pub at Kaka Point is fantastic, and the Four Sq in Owaka has everything you need to self-cater. Highly recommend this great AirBnB.

Wow, Michelle has the location of most people’s dreams (ours for sure), isolated hill top with a panoramic sea view that changes with the weather or time of day. The property is well designed, with a lot of thought going into the high end fixtures and fittings. Echo trends throughout for this off grid property, not that you’d ever know it’s off grid, it’s fully loaded with everything you need. Cupboards and fridge are full of goodies for breakfast and yummy chocolate biscuits to go with the Nespresso coffee or variety of tea’s. Grab your groceries on the way as it’s 30mins to a shop. A lovely stroll down a rugged sloping path, to the beach you see from all of the floor to ceiling windows along the full length of the property. Waterfall on property too. We were lucky to get one clear night and the stars are amazing. It’s so nice, we both said we could live here, it ticks so many boxes for us. Thanks Michelle for getting it so right… Jackie & John Missing it already.

We absolutely loved our stay! The unit was clean, has stunning views and was very peaceful and relaxing! We really appreciated the kitchen being stocked with fresh milk, orange juice and muesli! It was lovely to come back to a spa at the end of the day after adventuring around The Catlins. Thank you Lisa :)

We needed to stay in Gore but prefer to be a little out of town for some peace so this was perfect. 5 minutes away from the shops/cafes/restaurants, clean and tidy, pleasant hosts!
