My kids and I really loved the staycation. The local Peacock which we named Jeremy was a hoot. The house is amazing and the restoration from a ruin is remarkable. It is really like a home away from home. The kids were at first creeped out by the antelope head in the TV room, but they soon were naming him 😂 It is super peaceful and tranquil. Would we return? Hell yes!

Pelican's Retreat was a delightful stay with family and friends. The place was special and true to it's name, with Pelican's frequently resting on the private jetty. The accommodation had plenty of everything, peaceful location, kayaks, games, indoor and outdoor spaces, provisions if one needed and even candles! Thank you Sam and Trent.

Beautiful place. Stunning views out over the valley. Pohs place was extremely well equipped with everything you could want and more. Poh was so easy to deal with and very responsive. We will be back

We found Andrea’s house to be clean and homely with all amenities you could need. Kids loved going down to the river for a quick fish.

Our stay at this off-grid Airbnb was truly unforgettable! The property is beautifully designed, clean, and offers a perfect balance of comfort and sustainability. During our stay, without much thought, we used oven to cook dinner, not realizing how much power it would consume. By morning, the electricity had run out! Thankfully, the sun came out and started recharging the system, and everything was back to normal in no time. Throughout the whole event, the host was incredibly responsive, guiding us through the situation and ensuring we were comfortable. This stay was a wonderful lesson in off-grid living, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful setup. If you’re looking for a unique, eco-friendly retreat with an amazing host, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

Property was spacious & true to the photos. Was a great spot and close by for the wedding we attended at Lake Breeze Winery.

we had a lovely stay. Tania and Cameron were great hosts and were very accommodating. the cabin has everything you need for a relaxing stay. we loved the cabin location, very peaceful and secluded with a great view. Great 4WD tracks that cater for all levels and had a lot of fun. Will be back to camp with kids near the river - campsites look great and spacious.

Peaceful and quiet with a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Great for families starting out with kayaking. Easy to get around by car. We truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

It was a lovely stay. Kath's place was private. Perfect for couples. Yet, it's not too secluded. You have the luxury of Hahndorf's cafes and restaurants. The option for a bottle of wine welcoming you at check-in is cherry on top. also, you may get lucky and see a koala. Ben & Kath will let you know. Truly, a wonderful host.
