We had a women’s retreat here and it easily accommodated the needs of all of us, from space to do yoga to intimate space for conversation and connection. The views of the lake were gorgeous, the hot tub with a view of the lake was amazing, the sleeping spaces were perfect (memory foam mattresses?! 😍) and the welcome gifts from the hostess were so sweet!

this please is perfect for large families with a lot of fun activities inside. It was clean and well organized and the dogs loved running around outside having a blast.

We had a great stay! The loft is beautiful and the location downtown is great. The views from the rooftop are wonderful, we are looking forward to staying again in the summer!

We really enjoyed staying! The kitchen was very well stocked and we loved the beautiful room with windows. We were very comfortable. Erin also responded to me with many great options for places to eat and things to do. She quickly responded when I reached out. It was a gorgeous home and we hope to stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah's home! The home was so spacious and well equipped - perfect for our group of 8 adults. Sarah was very communicative and responsive. We really enjoyed the beautiful views of the property - the hot tub was also a bonus! We also did the short drive to Stillwater for shopping and restaurants.

We loved our stay! Beautiful home with lots of space. The house looks nice in the photos, but it’s honestly even better in person! I am so glad we picked it for our stay. Mitch was very responsive & accommodating. If you’re going to Hudson, this is definitely the place to stay! I have only good things to say about our time here!

Great stay at Joe’s. We were there for a hockey tournament, the kids had so much fun and so did the parents. Location was close to the rink but still so peaceful!

This was our second year at this place and we absolutely love it. We have a yearly family gathering to go and look at the Eagles along the Mississippi and the main level of the house is absolutely perfect for a big family of 12 to 16 of us. There is plenty of light and windows and gathering space for cooking playing games, eating and celebrating. There are wood floors throughout, and we are very fortunate that the host allows us to bring our two dogs. We will absolutely be going back next year!!! Thank you Greg!

The view was outstanding and the host was great: very responsive, great with "housewarming" provisions, etc. The accomodations were comfortable for our 3-generation group of 10. The driveway was a bit scary (but that comes with the view!). For us it seemed like off-season, and so the prices seemed a bit high, but for all those ice-fisherman (we had no idea that it would still be going strong), I suppose it was still high season. Two of our group managed to get out for a run 2 out of the 3 mornings we were there. But be aware there is no shoulder on the highway right at the house. We enjoyed the shops that were open in the town of Stockholm, and walking out on the river/lake there. We also enjoyed a hike up at Maiden Rock bluff trail.

Daughters wedding was at a venue in the area and this home was perfect to stay at. Roomy rooms, comfortable beds to get a good night sleep. Also, we had a snowstorm and it was great to have carport to keep snow off the cars. Would stay at again if we are ever in the area.

The place was just what it said it was. It was clean, she had fun snacks and drinks for us. Every thing you need is right there and more. She communicated well with me. It was so easy to check in and out. Love it and highly recommend for girls get away.

An absolute gem!! Such a cozy place with an incredible view of Chetac. We cannot wait to come back!

This was our second time staying here. Vincent is very quick to respond to any questions, even had a young man shovel the driveway after the snowfall. I would definitely recommend this place if staying in Menomonie!

Had a wonderful stay for a weekend of board games with friends. Enjoyed walking the property, meeting the horses and the friendly dogs from a nearby home. Would definitely stay here again.

We found it very easy to settle into this cozy yet spacious home which has plenty of character and nice amenities. The sunset view from the home was particularly beautiful. The interior is pleasantly decorated with color accents and has an overall tone of peacefulness with a slightly rustic touch. We appreciated the private nature of the home and property, which is also very close to groceries and other off-site services. We also appreciated the excellent wifi! Rachel is a superb Host. She responded promptly to our questions and gave us detailed and practical information when needed. We liked this site so much that we made another reservation, for later this year!

Linda’s lake house is beautiful and spacious and a great place to spend a weekend with family. We felt comfortable from the moment we stepped in and loved the layout, overall design, and all the available (in winter) amenities. Linda was such an accommodating, very responsive host, as well—from booking through a couple requests we made during our stay, the whole process couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Above all, this Airbnb was a hit with everyone in our group, and we definitely hope to return!

This house was great and spacious. We loved the pool and had so much fun. Kitchen was great and fully stocked for when we cooked. It snowed while we were there and they had people there to shovel and plow which was great. Check in and check out instructions were clear and easy to follow. We had a great time and would absolutely book again.

Heidi’s property was just what we needed for adults and kids to enjoy for a week. Relaxed atmosphere and all around a great place for a break away to swim in the pool, rent a pontoon, rent ATVs (trails right off property), fun food places near by, and beautiful scenery of lake and woods!

We were a team of 5 guys doing a trade show 30 minutes away. Everything about the Big Blue House was exactly what we needed and more. We especially enjoyed the small, but active area of Downtown Balsam Lake.

Our stay at the Hazelwood Lodge was magnificent. It was a perfect location for our family reunion. We thoroughly enjoyed time outside around the campfire through sunset followed by movies and Foosball games in the media and bar area. I’ve never stayed at a house so well appointed with supplies of all kinds. We look forward to a return visit in the future.

Very unique home with a cool view. The house had everything we were expecting and the kids loved the pool and arcade games! Hosts were fast at responding to any questions and wanted us to have a great time. Highly recommend!
